IN-RING INFORMATION
WRESTLING STYLE: Technical Brawler mixed with power, submission and some light ariel stuff
FINISHING MOVE(S): [INCLUDE DESCRIPTION]
1. The Final Destination-Watkins executes a devastating Tombstone Piledriver only instead of pinning his opponent as most people would, he decides to torture them further by putting them into an ankle lock submission hold where he usually grapevines the leg. Since the opponent is pretty much out of it anyway, escape is nearly impossible, and the match usually ends with a ref stoppage or the opponent tapping. This is considered "cruel and unusual punishment" as most opponents are usually dead to rights after being nailed with the Tombstone and the moves that proceeded it.
2. The Last Judgement- Cut Throat Burning Hammer
SIGNATURE MOVE(S): [INCLUDE DESCRIPTION]
South Texas Death Ride-Heart Punch
Exit Pass-Last Ride Style Power Bomb sometimes performed out on the floor and occasionally performed from the ring to the floor can be used as a finisher usually resulting in the opponent being counted out or knocked out.
The Flatline-Reverse Rock Bottom sometimes performed into the ring post or onto the turnbuckle.
Teleportation and other theatrics-Pretty self explanatory, lights will go out and he'll vanish and then reappear in another area/gives the illusions of having supernatural type powers
No selling opponents offense-Getting up from/not going down to attacks from usually weaker opponents as if they have no effect on him.
BASIC MOVES (OPTIONAL):
1. Various Suplexes (German, Belly To Belly, Belly To Back in particular) done both grounded and from the top or middle turnbuckle.
2. Knee Strikes (Various)
3. Working the leg/ankle
4. Muscle Buster
5. “Tree Of Death/Woe” Attack- Watkins hangs the opponent upside down in the corner and depending on his mood may nail a diving cross body, running knee lift, baseball slide or may simply choke the opponent from outside of the ring.
6. Chokeslam
7. Moonsault variations
8. Reverse Figure Four Leglock
9. Low Blow when ref isn’t looking
10. Choking the opponent either with his hands/feet or the rope/some other object but he seems to enjoy choking people.
CHARACTER INFORMATION
GIMMICK: Ultra talented in the ring but somewhat delusional (understatement) believes that he was “murdered” and is “back from the great beyond” with the purpose of wrangling souls (sort of like a grim reaper sort of deal) seems to possess supernatural abilities but a lot of it is smoke and mirrors and simple stagecraft theatrics.
CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY: Kevin Watkins was once a very successful professional wrestler winning championships and awards everywhere he’s worked. His career was a long and illustrious one that largely mirrored that of his uncle the legendary Jon Tees. Oddly, several years ago Watkins seemingly disappeared off of the face of the earth and no one has seen hide nor hair of him since that disappearance. Many even assumed that Watkins had died and Jon rarely even mentioned him in any context. As it turns out, Watkins was working as an undertaker somewhere in the Southern United States. after this lengthy sabbatical, Watkins has at long last returned to professional wrestling here in IIW. He’s looking to reestablish and surpass the level of dominance that he once had prior to going missing and being presumed dead by multiple people. After many years of estrangement, Watkins has been reunited with his cousins Sabrina Masters as part of the Syndicate. Time will tell how well that works out. Watkins was one of a few incarnations of the "Wraith" character and has retained some aspects of that even as he now once more competes under his own name.
ENTRANCE: (“The Wraith” By ICP hits and the crowd instantly boos and jeers knowing exactly who is coming out as fog and smoke begin filling the arena. Kevin Watkins steps through the curtain with a look lacking any kind of expression on his face, he totally ignores the fans paying them absolutely zero mind as if they aren’t even there. Watkins could honestly care less if everyone in the arena just suddenly dropped over dead or disappeared into nothingness. Watkins continues walking toward the ring as the smoke and fog seems to get worse. Watkins simply enters the ring and depending on entry order either stares down his opponent (s) or awaits their arrival. Sabrina Masters seems to magically appear and takes her place at ringside in Watkins'’ corner.):
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
