Backstage, Michael Morrison prepares to introduce one of the newest faces of IIW. Suited up, the smiling Morrison brings a microphone up to his mouth to do his thing.
Michael Morrison | “Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here backstage with a young lady who is about to make her debut on IIW Combat. Please welcome… Ada Pierce!”
Dressed in a karate gi, Ada Pierce enters the scene with a joyous expression on her face. Turning to Michael, she bows to him out of respect, eliciting an impressed reaction from the interviewer.
Michael Morrison | “Please, no need to be so formal! Now Ada, please tell us about yourself. As we can see, you’re in a Karate or Judo uniform, so I assume you’re a martial artist, right?”
Ada Pierce | “That’s right, Michael! I’ve been a student of martial arts since I was a kid. I’ve always looked up to the lifestyle of a fighter, the neverending quest to better oneself and test the skills and abilities against others.”
Michael Morrison | “So what made you come down here tonight?”
Ada Pierce | “Well… I wanna test myself. I wanna see if I have what it takes to climb the ladder in IIW and become more than I currently am. Someone stronger, someone with the will to never give up and always try and better myself.”
Michael Morrison | “Well young lady, you seem to have quite the positive mentality heading into your first wrestling match, but I gotta ask. Do you feel worried that your skills in martial arts may not translate well into wrestling?”
Ada Pierce | “I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t curious to know if I could find the opening to prove my skills in a wrestling environment, but I wouldn’t expect to see a one-note offense from me to tonight. Even though my passion lies in the art of Karate, I know a thing or two when it comes to pro wrestling!”
Michael Morrison | “Ada, it was a pleasure. I look forward to seeing your debut later tonight.”
Ada smiles at Michael before bowing once more and waving “goodbye” at the camera, excited for her match.
