The sun shines brightly over the Hart Country Golf Club in Los Angeles California. Nick Hart is seen wearing a white polo t-shirt with brown khaki pants and white golf shoes on as he swings his club at the golf ball and sends it sailing to the hole. He winks and lights up with a smirk.
You see that folks, everywhere I go I am a winner and it doesn't matter if it's a wrestling ring, a Movie Premier, or on a Golf course all I do is pick up victories.
A golf caddy comes walking up with a silver tray in hand with Cigars and a glass of champagne on top. He kneels down inform of Nick Hart as he presents the tray to him.
Now, this is how a winner should be treated especially someone with my last name that has deep connections in IIW.
Nick takes the Cigar and Champagne glass off the tray and motions for the caddy to leave. Nick walks over to a golf cart and takes a seat and takes a sip out of the glass.
Only the best for yours truly, because I am the most gifted looking man in all of Pro Wrestling, It doesn't matter what promotion you tune into, there is nobody with my physical gifts, my in-ring skill, and my pure ruthless aggression!
Nick Hart uses a Gold lighter to light his cigar, he takes a few puffs before blowing the smoke out.
And those are just facts, ladies and gentlemen, now I know there will be those out there that will refute my claims and say I'm nothing without my uncle Shaun Hart but that couldn't be further from the truth. Shaun hasn't even paid attention to me these last couple of months, he's been too busy dealing with failed talent like TJ Alexander and don't even get me started on the stunt he pulled at Red Alert when he ran down to the ring and made the three count for Tyler but enough about him he's not the most important Hart in IIW anymore, that's me and speaking of Red Alert my opponent for Monday Night Mayhem of the new year is the new UK Champion Russell Wayne who also holds one-half of the IIW Tag Team Titles with his lover Curtis, oh my bad I mean Team Friendship, but I guess I can't knock you for teaming with a dork like Curtis anyways I mean just look at you right now dripped in Gold holding Two Titles in the best promotion in all of wrestling and even on the verge of competing for another title opportunity, why a talent like me just sits in the back watching guys like you get opportunities that should come to me.
Nick takes another puff and ashes the cigar.
But I get it, Wayne, you've been connected to the higher-ups sometime now, and you basically have the lies of Osh in your back pocket, why my uncle who can pull a few strings for me has chosen not to, he said something about earning my way, but I don't get it really. Why do I have to earn my way when everyone else does not? Why was I not placed in the six-man ladder match at Red Alert? Why did so much new talent get opportunities before me? It's because nobody in management wants a Hart in the main event scene, they are afraid that I'll take off and rewrite history here in IIW, but it doesn't matter how many roadblocks they put in my way Because I'll smash them!
Nick Hart sips on his champagne for a moment, then places it back down.
Now Wayne you just so happen to be the first obstacle they out in my path and I'm sure they thought you would just be able to run through me, but I got bad news for you Wayne. When we meet in the ring, your going to be my example to management and the locker room that Nick Hart is nobody's punching bag anymore, once they see me dominate you in a way like nobody has since Scotty Adams and even then your going to think it was a picnic with him why with me is going to be like hell on earth. So go ahead Russell look over me and think you already have this match won already Champ because I promise you like I'll make you regret it and put you on the shelf!
Nick Hart dumps his cigar into the Champagne glass and claps his hands together for the Caddy to come back and get the tray. As be does Nick looks focused and fired up.
So hear me loud and clear Wayne you might be on one hell of a run right now but come January 17 I'm going to shock the world by breaking your win streak and show everyone why I deserve praise and Title matches, this match means more for me then it does you, you probably look at this match as another day at IIW why I look at it as a golden opportunity. So why you might be the better wrestler, you don't have the drive I do and that's why I'm going run right through you!
Nick Hart winks and walks off into the distance as it fades out.

Blackley Cemetary. Manchester, UK. -
The scene opens up to a cold, blustery winter day in Manchester, UK at the Blackley Cemetary. Russell and Curtis are seated in front of a casket draped with a white, frilly covering that says in pink, "Thank You for Being a Friend." Russell Wayne is wearing a black suit, with a white button up shirt, a black tie, and over that a knee length black top-coat. He also has on his shirt a pair of gold cufflinks. Curtis is wearing a white suit with a multi-colored tie and a white topcoat. The bottom of the topcoat has been tie-dyed every color of the rainbow. On either side of Curtis is Blanche and Dorothy, two of Curtis' Golden Girls. Seated next to Blanche is Russell. Behind them is a gathering of many unknown faces, all of them wearing somber expressions waiting for the funeral to start. Curtis is sobbing softly. Blanche looks over at him.
Blanche: Oh, Curtis! You look so handsome! Rose would have loved seeing you dressed up like this.
Curtis: I know, that's why I wore it. She always loved when I would dress in bright colorful things.
Curtis lets out a loud sob and cuddles into Blanche's shoulder.
Dorothy: Oh, dear! Curtis, you know Rose is looking down on us from heaven!
Curtis: I know, I'm just going to miss her so much!
Blanche pats Russell on the thigh and gives him an encouraging smile.
Blanche: Rose would be so happy knowing you're here.
Russell: I know. We all got off on the wrong foot but the last few months have really changed me and you ladies were a big part of that. Suffice it to say, I'm really going to miss her. I'm also glad I can be here for my best friend, Curtis.
Russell reaches behind blanch and pats Curtis on the shoulder.
The priest walks up to the podium and starts the funeral. He leads them in various liturgy and a word of prayer. Following this, there is the reading of letters that have been sent in by various people and organizations that Rose had been involved with in the past. Including one from the Queen acknowledging her service in World War II. After this is finished, the priest calls up Curtis to deliver the eulogy.
Curtis walks up to the podium and shakily pulls out a handkerchief and blows into it. He takes a deep breath.
Curtis: Rose, what can one say about this amazin-
about this a-
Curtis breaks down in a heap of sobs, mourning his dear friend. Russell gets up and walks up to the stage and embraces Curtis like a brother. Russell whispers something in Curtis' ear and Curtis gives a sob. Russell, with one arm under Curtis, moves them back up towards the microphone.
Russell: Rose really was something else. She was always that bright light that the world needed. The Golden Girls and I, that is to say, her other two best friends, Blanche and Dorothy all had some good times together...
Dorothy rolls her eyes and gives Russell that cold, piercing look that just says he's treading on thin ice whereas Blanche gives him a playful smirk and a wink.
Russell: What I mean to say, is that through Curtis, my best friend, I got to know these three amazing women over the last several months and it has been nothing but a pleasure. Rose was a special soul. One who was not afraid of anything and despite living to a ripe old age, was still full of life up to her dying day. She went through some of the worst times that Britain had experienced and some of the best times, but nothing ever changed, that smile that just radiated life. I know if Rose were here today she'd be doing her best to make sure that everyone around her was happy, whether it be telling a joke, or baking her famous cookies. I also know...
Russell looks over at Curtis.
Russell: ...that she wouldn't want a single tear shed for her, but rather that she would want us happy, celebrating her life and her accomplishments. Rose was a beautiful soul and her memory will live on in the rest of us as long as we follow in her footsteps of positivity. She never was one to hold a grudge, despite how much somebody may disappoint her. She taught me that as long as you try your best, you'll always come out a winner! Don't ever forget that. Don't ever forget Rose. Rose, a woman who by any other name, would still taste just as sweet.
Dorothy: DON'T YOU MEAN SMELL, RUSSELL?!?!
Russell gives a smirk.
Russell: No.
The crowd gasps, but Blanche, Dorothy, and Curtis can't help but laugh as Russell and Curtis take their seats and Dorothy gives Russell a playful pat on the thigh as he sits down and shakes her head.
10 Minutes Later:
Russell and Curtis along with four of Rose's nephews, carries the casket to it's final resting place about twenty yards from where the eulogy took place. They place it on the belts of the casket-lowering device. The graveyard worker gets to work slowly lowering it in as the priest gives the final prayers. Then, Curtis, Russell, and the two remaining Golden Girls throw single long-stemmed white roses into the grave as the scene fades to black.
IIW Arena. Manchester, UK. Present day:
The scene opens to a close up shot of the United Kingdom Championship, it pans out to show it is around the waste of it's owner, Russell Wayne. Russell is wearing a black Team Friendship t-shirt, a Levi's wool-lined denim jacket, jeans, and black matte boots. Over his shoulder, as well, is the tag team championship. Standing next to Russell is Michael Morrison wearing his usual business suit. They are in the interview area, with a TV in the background with a slideshow going showing pictures of Russell and Curtis in various matches.
Michael: First, let me congratulate you on winning your first real singles title, the United Kingdom Championship!
Russell: Thank you Michael, it was a tough match but I tried just a little bit harder. Arches was a man I respected going into it and I still respect him just as much coming out of it.
Michael: Regarding that, a lot of fans were kind of disappointed in that match, thinking it'd be more of a slobber-knocker...
Russell: Well, unfortunately, Mike just wasn't all there for that match it seemed. He had some missteps that I was able to capitalize on and so I came out on top, and with this title that I deserved for a long time.
Michael: You'll get no argument from me there, champ. It actually shocked a lot of people that you hadn't grabbed a singles title sooner.
Russell: That was no fault of my own. I hadn't been given a chance and, due to mistakes I made in the past, Bob was very hesitant on giving me a match. After World's Collide, I had to claw my way back up to the top. Even then I had some missteps myself, but I worked my hardest and overcame them and so much more with the help of my bestfriend Curtis.
Michael: Speaking of him, I'm actually shocked he's not here for this interview. In your next match with Nick Hart, he'll be accompanying you to ringside as your manager.
Russell looks down solemnly and nods his head.
Russell: Yes, he's in a state of grief right now. Of course, as you saw in the Ice Crown Tournament, he lost his match to some delusional guy who thinks he's some sort of space cowboy or something and then, just days later, we both lost a good friend in Rose, one of his Golden Girls.
Michael: I'm sorry to hear that. So, will he be at Mayhem?
Russell: Yes, I have no doubt about that, he just needs a little more time to grieve and process everything. He was one of the favorites going into the Ice Crown Tournament and with this being his first match since he was attacked by that coward, Bam Miller, he was expecting more out of himself. He'll be fine though, and I have no doubt at Mayhem that he'll be anything other than that beacon of positivity that we all know and love.
Michael: Speaking of Mayhem, as we mentioned earlier, your opponent is Nick Hart, nephew of Shaun Hart. What are your thoughts on that?
Russell: Well, Shaun and I are no strangers to one another really. Shaun has been a figurehead of this company since shortly after my arrival. You know, he first tried recruiting me when he first arrived but I was always a loner. I guess it's a good thing I did too because look at where all of his other clients have ended up.
Michael: You're right, none of them have attained to any measure of success the likes of which Shaun promised to deliver.
Russell: You're exactly right, my friend. Nick is not going to be any different. So far he hasn't been any different. I mean, he has yet to win a single match here in IIW according to the rankings. Why Bob put him in a match against me instead of putting him against someone like, I don't know, Anthony Phoenix, is beyond me. Maybe Bob sees something in him nobody else does? That'd be nice of him if he did. Regardless, Nick just doesn't have what it takes. He'd be better off begging his Uncle to keep him on staff. As he said though, it seems not even Shaun wants anything to do with Nick at this point...and that's saying something.
Russell looks into the camera.
Russell: Nick, I'm sure you'll try your best. Unfortunately, as we have seen here in IIW thus far, your best always comes up short. Fortunately, I have the perfect solution for you, a new frame of mind! You see, as the dearly departed Rose taught me, as long as you always try your best, you'll always be a winner! I'll see you Monday Nick. Now...
Do you think you can handle it?
The scene fades to black.
