The scene opens to Curtis playing skeeball. There are tickets spilling out of the machine. The camera pans back showing Curtis is at a Chuck E Cheese. Curtis rolls the last ball and gets it in the 10k hole. He jumps fist pumping in the air. The manager walks over to Curtis.
Curtis - Hey Al how are you doing?
Al - I'm doing well Curtis. I saw your big win last night on Mayhem congratulations.
Curtis - Thank you very much. It was a hard fought battle but I did what I do best and took home the win.
Al - I saw the win and knew we would see you in here soon.
Curtis - There is no better way to celebrate a big win than some great food and winning tickets playing video games.
Al - You want your regular table?
Curtis - Not today I need the big table today I have some friends meeting me.
Al - Splendid. I will get that all set up for you.
Curtis - Thank you so much AL.
Al - Anything for our best customer.
Curtis - Well thank you but I'm sure you say that to everyone.
Al - I really don't, you have put my kids through college.
Curtis - Glad I could help.
Al - I will set that table up for you.
Curtis - Perfect, my friends should be here soon.
Curtis grabs his tickets and shoves them in his bag and goes over to the basketball game. He puts a token and the machine and it springs to life he begins throwing basketballs missing almost every single shot.
Curtis - Well seeing as neither one of my fathers were very hands on with me growing up this makes perfect sense. Sports outside of wrestling are not my strong suit. I'm man enough to admit that, it is what it is, at least I'm good at wrestling.
Curtis turns his attention back to the basketball game and misses all but 2 shots 1 ticket gets spit out of the machine he grabs it and moves on to the game where you throw balls at fuzzy clowns. He is about to put a token into play the game when he hears someone call his name he turns around to see Rose and Agatha standing behind him.
Rose - I really thought you misspoke when you said you wanted us to meet you at Chuck E Cheese.
Agatha - I did not. I was pretty positive this is where he wanted to meet us because we've known Curtis for a long time and this is a very Curtis-like place for him to want to meet.
Curtis - I don't know why you would be shocked. This place is amazing. It's a family themed entertainment venue that has amazing food.
Rose - Well those are definitely words I don't know if I would use those words to describe this place but they are words nonetheless.
Agatha - That's a lot of tickets you got there Curtis what do you plan on getting with it a spider ring or a Chinese finger trap?
Curtis - I have more than enough of those at home Agatha what I'm saving for right now is a giant Pikachu stuffed animal.
Agatha - I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't that.
Curtis - I already have a squirtle and a Charizard so I need this one to help complete the pokemon starters stuffed animal collection. I haven't started this game yet so we can go to the table. I had the manager get it all set for us.
Rose - Wow what service at the Chuck E cheese.
Curtis - Second to none hands down best service in town.
Rose and Agatha looked at each other with puzzled looks on their faces. All 3 of them make their way over to the large table down in front of the Chuck E cheese band.
Rose - Curtis that was a huge win last night I gotta say we were really proud of you we were going nuts, everyone at shady pines was very excited.
Curtis - I'm so glad you guys all enjoyed my last match. It was a must win for me because I wanted to enter the Elimination Chamber in the worst way. It's my time to show the world that nice guys finish 1st sometimes. The only way I can do that definitively is by winning the Elimination Chamber and holding the world title high above my head. Positivity will reign supreme.
Rose - You know we need to talk about what happened to Russell Wayne correct?
Curtis - Yes I know we do. I'm sick to my stomach over what happened.
Rose - Why did you even go out there?
Curtis - I had to go and save my friend. Well try to save him from my other friend. Bam is under some mind control spell Mr Page seems to put everyone under and went crazy. He was trying to really take out Mr Wayne and I couldn't stand by and watch that. He needed me out there. Turns out I was the one that hurt him and I'm deeply upset over it. I never wanted to cause Mr Wayne harm at all.
Agatha - We know you didn't Curtis.
Curtis - Mr Wayne is out of action for an unknown amount of time because of me. He beat my father for the world title and was realizing all his dreams and I am the one that took it all away. I was careless diving off the top rope the way I did. It's something that will haunt me for the rest of my life. I will hear the sound of his leg breaking every time I close my eyes. I can't believe what I have caused. It's my own personal nightmare and it's something that I need to live with and come to terms with and I don't know if I'll ever be able to do that. Mr. Wayne if you're watching this I beg of you please accept my deepest apology and condolences. I have sent edible arrangements, many flowers and stuffed animals to your hospital room. I hope you find them as joyous as I do And no how upset I am about what happened as a result of my actions.
Rose - Curtis you didn't cause anything. Bam Miller started it when he attacked Wayne in a super brutal way. You were trying to help him. Accidents happen Curtis it's not your fault. You absolutely should not be blaming yourself for what happened to Mr. Wayne.
Curtis - I appreciate you saying that I really do. I will never forgive myself though. I am the reason he is laid up with a broken leg not Bams. This all stems from Chris Page and his boys. Page has used some kind of magical powers to control people and make them join him. Also does anyone else wonder why after winning the Elimination Mr Page has been granted a title shot. What has that guy even done here to warrant that. Why doesn't he have to earn a shot at the title like everybody else? He's able to buddy up to Shaun and all of a sudden he just gets a title shot at the pay per view after the Elimination Chamber match. I'm not a math scholar or anything but this doesn't add up if you ask me something is way off. Look don't get me wrong, Page has been around for a long time and deserves to be treated like the legend that he is but he didn't do anything to earn this title shot. I'm all for people shooting their shot but they should earn it 1st.
Rose - It is weird especially considering a guy from his team is in the Elimination Chamber.
Curtis - That's the only part of this that makes complete sense to me. The way I see Mr. Pages as a puppet master of sorts. If his little crony Justin York can win the Elimination Chamber and become the champion I bet you he expects a finger poke of doom situation at the next pay per view without having to do any actual work. He definitely is hiding behind the welcoming committee in a big bad way and thinks he's gonna become the world champion by doing virtually no actual wrestling of his own. That's where he's wrong. I am not going to allow something like that to happen. I have a big issue with the welcoming committee, a subsidiary of CCPE and there is a score to settle there for sure and I'm going to be the one standing tall when the dust clears. My good friend Mr. Miller fired the 1st shot and it has angered me greatly and now things have gotten very personal.
Agatha - A score to settle you say? Sounds like you have a revenge plan that doesn't sound overly positive if you asked me Curtis.
Curtis - I wouldn't say it's a revenge plan at all. Day one when Mr. Page joined this company he beat me and Mr. Wayne for the tag team titles in a hard fought battle. I had great respect for that man who came in and did what he needed to do and won the tag titles fair and square. It's everything he's done since then that has bothered me greatly. Since then he hasn't done a whole lot here really at all except for building a team of people to stand in front of him because ultimately I feel he's a coward. He has also done nothing but talk junk to people and try to make them feel really bad about themselves. Now indirectly as a result of Mr. Page Mr. Wayne is on the shelf for an undisclosed amount of time. Mr. Page is also getting a world title shot without having to do a darn thing to earn it. It's not a revenge plan at all, it's a score to settle because it's just not right. To me it feels like he is the puppet master of a bunch of losers that are doing his bidding so he will ultimately benefit from that. One of the things my father Jonny C always says is that there are no true friends in this business, just people waiting to stab you in the back to better their career. I feel no statement is more accurate about Mr. Paige than that. I never wanted to believe that statement but Mr. Page makes me believe unfortunately that could be true in some rare cases.
Rose - Sounds like a deep seated revenge plan to me but however you want to spin it is fine with that as long as you show that little bastard not to mess with you ever again.
Curtis - When I'm done with him he will want nothing to do with me. I'm fighting for everything that's good about professional wrestling. I'm not hiding behind a stable of people. I am walking to that ring alone like I always do and I'm going to show the entire world that I am the best wrestler in the world. I didn't need to be gifted a title shot without earning it to win the title. I earned my way into the Elimination Chamber and I will earn my victory in that chamber to show the world that nothing is given to me and I earn everything. Page doesn't wanna earn anything he wants to be handed everything in life I don't know how you can be proud of a career like that but to each his own I guess. Pages has been a part of this business for a really long time and longevity like that definitely means he is really good at what he does but what he does is what I'm not quite sure of. Seems awfully political to me
Agatha - We know that Curtis. We know you are the holier than thou wrestler who wants to win things 100% clean all of the time. We don't agree with it at all but we know you're set in your ways and for some reason it seems to work for you.
Rose - But Mr. Page isn't one of the 5 men in the match.
Agatha - Mr. Page would love 5 men.
Rose - I see what you did there.
Curtis - Ladies ladies please calm down there's no need to go there. This is Chuck E Cheese not a brothel please do not speak like that.
Agatha and Rose in unison look at each other, roll their eyes and say sorry Curtis.
Curtis - Moving on yes I am fully aware that there are 5 total competitors and myself in the chamber. We are getting way ahead of ourselves though the chamber isn't for a few weeks now I have a huge 6 man tag match coming up next to Mayhem.
Agatha - That seems like a let's throw everything against the wall and see what sticks type of match.
Curtis - I wouldn't say that exactly. Justin York is in it along with John Cavanaugh, myself, Tyler debonair and TJ Alexander We are all in the Elimination Chamber match. They threw a couple other people in to move some other things around because there's issues with those people so I do understand why the match was made the way it was made.
Agatha - Your explanation as to why this match is happening and not thrown together last minute with a bunch of leftover people has me even more confused as to why it's happening. But I will take your word for Curtis because we love you and care about you and you seem to be excited about it so we are going to watch the show and be excited for you.
Curtis - That's all I ask of you ladies.
Rose - I bet you're excited to get back in the ring with Tyler. I know 2 years ago when you guys faced each other things didn't go well for you and to be in a match with him again and show how much you've grown as a performer is a huge opportunity for you.
Curtis - There are a bunch of people in this match that I'm very excited to get the opportunity to work with. You are correct though I am very excited at the opportunity to lock it up with Tyler yet again down the line we are a team in this match unfortunately but it will come. I'm not the same Curtis that I was before. I am a long running tag team champion, I have grown as a singles competitor and I have gotten way better than I was 2 years ago when we 1st faced off. Granted this is a 6 man tag team match and not a 1 on 1 match but I can't wait to show him how much better I've gotten and hopefully he will be very impressed with me.
Rose - Does it really matter if he's impressed with you Curtis?
Curtis - To me it absolutely does matter. Tyler is one of the biggest and best wrestlers here he comes from a huge wrestling family his lineage is literal wrestling history. I really want him to see me as an equal and not just some punk kid who's trying to make a name for himself like I was when we faced each other 2 years ago. So yes it does matter very much what he thinks of me. The only thing that kind of stinks about this all is I won't be directly locking up with him in this match. I'll just be showcasing my talents because he's a partner of mine this time and he's going to watch me wrestle his father.
Rose - What about TJ Alexander he is also on your team are you also trying to impress him even know he will stand across from you in the Elimination Chamber?
Curtis - Of course I am. I want to impress everyone that is on my team or I am friends with. I want them to know that I carry my weight and pick up any slack that needs to be picked up. I haven't gotten a chance to really ever work with or get to know TJ and I'm very excited at the opportunity to be on a tag team with him this coming mayhem. He is a stud in the world of professional wrestling and I am very excited at the opportunity to stand alongside him and learn something from him and maybe show him a thing or 2 we can both get better as a result of this 6 man tag team match. I fully understand our alliance won't last very long as we will be opponents in the Elimination Chamber but that doesn't mean we need to be enemies. A friend is a friend it doesn't matter what the circumstances are I don't have to hate him to wrestle him.
Rose - I do have to admit that anyone that is on your team is definitely going to be better off with you in their corner. You definitely bring a positive light and team spirit to any team you're a part of and that's why we love you Curtis.
Agatha - It really is but there are 3 men that will be standing on the opposite side of that ring from you that really want to tear your head off.
Curtis - There always is that's the name of the game in the IIW.
Agatha - I don't like that Justin York character. He seems like a giant dick.
Curtis - Language Agatha please.
Agatha - I'm sorry Curtis but it's true. This guy has done nothing but come out and bitch and moan about everything since the day he started in the IIW. I don't think he's ever had a nice thing to say about anyone in his entire life. And there's really nothing all that great about him. I don't understand why he walks around like he's God's gift to professional wrestling.
Curtis - Justin burst onto the scene here in IIW few months back and he has been unstoppable ever since. He has won almost every single match he has been in and he's even a current champion here so I'm very excited to stand across the ring from him and match his talent with mine and see who the better performer is.
Rose - I have to agree with Agatha that Justin York definitely is a giant dick.
Curtis - Look ladies I know he can come across as very aggressive and he says a lot of hurtful things but Hey no one is more well versed on how to deal with someone like that than I am. Osh and Jonny C "raised" me so I know exactly what I need to do to combat Justin York. He is basically a Mini version of both of my fathers, maybe even a bigger pain in the butt than they are but I can deal with him very easily.
Agatha - How?
Curtis - Kill him with kindness Agatha that's how. He is a scared and hurt little man who was overcompensating for everything else that he lacks in life. He is an immensely talented professional wrestler I will never take anything away from his in ring ability; it's his personality that I have an issue with. In his head he is the greatest thing to ever happen to professional wrestling just like my fathers. In reality he's moderate at best. He is such a scared little boy that he had to go and align himself with Chris page so we had some kind of backing. He's not able to stand on his own 2 feet he talks so much junk about everybody that he has a giant Bullseye on his forehead and he knows that once the reaper comes calling he's going to fall as fast as a house of cards. I will not stoop to his level. I know he's going to come out here and say a ton of hurtful things about me because that's what he does. But he's not going to rattle me no one can. Again I reiterate that sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. And that's all Mr. York is he is all talk very little substance. That's not entirely true he is a spectacular wrestler I'm just way better than he is when it comes to the in ring ability part. He is a carbon copy of every other bad guy wrestler that's ever walked down the ramp and set foot in a wrestling ring. There is nothing original about him he's going to get in the ring and say some wildly outlandish stuff that most people wouldn't go anywhere near hoping to get in my head and live there rent free. But he's never met someone like me before who isn't rattled by his words or scared of him in any way. The biggest joke of it all is the fact that he needs a whole army of people behind them so that when he talks his junk about people he has the backup he needs when he gets in over his head which he regularly does.
Agatha - Damn Curtis you are right you do know how to deal with someone like that. But like you said being raised by the 2 men who raised you you know exactly what you need to do to take someone like Justin York down.
Rose - That does seem like a pretty darn good game plan if you ask me. York isn't going to know what hit him when he stands across the ring from you. Curtis the fact that he can't make you question anything or get into your head is going to completely throw him off his game.
Curtis - He is an overgrown child who results to kindergarten, maybe 1st grade insults. It's childish but I've dealt with it my whole life. I deal with it every single week when I'm booked against anyone. They all do the same exact thing, they come out talking junk, try to get in my head, can't and then I beat them. That all being said, I am very excited to lock up with Mr. York and show him the ability that I have. I want this to be stated now Mr. York I am willing to help you become the best version of yourself, this bad guy attitude you have it's not a good look for anyone let me help you. I am here for you Justin. Unlike every other person in your life I care about you and I wanna see what's best for you unlike your so-called friends in that faction you're in who would drop you like a bad habit to better their own careers. Say what you will Justin but you know deep down that I am right.
Agatha - Your willingness to help people that are beyond help in our books is what makes you stand out from everyone else Curtis.
Curtis - No one is beyond help Agatha. What I don't understand about Mr. York is the fact that he is very OK with playing 2nd fiddle to Mr. Page. Justin York is a phenomenal athlete with nothing but upside yet for some reason he sits back and takes orders from someone else. I don't understand why he is OK with being a puppet. I still feel he can be saved and turned into a great person. He just needs to get away from the darkness known as the welcoming committee. Mr. York please I beg of you you're you're strong enough to be your own man and stand on your own 2' you don't need Mr. Page and the welcoming committee. You're not beyond redemption Mr. Yorke please believe that.
Agatha - Agree to disagree.
Rose - What about the other guys that are in the match?
Curtis - Mr Cavanaugh who I beat 2 shows back and Fred Debonaire who is Tyler's father.
Rose - Your team should win this very easily Curtis.
Curtis - That's not necessarily true Rose. Everybody, no matter what, has a puncher's chance of winning a match. A simple mistake can spiral into taking the loss; it can very easily happen to anybody at any time in any type of match. I would never under any circumstances say a match is an easy win because I know in the blink of an eye things can change for the worse.
Rose - I understand that but you've already beaten Mr. Cavanaugh so I would be led to believe since you've beaten him once you would know how to do it again.
Curtis - I have beaten Mr. Cavanaugh once before but that was in a single match a 6 man tag team match is very different. I have also beaten him in a standard tag team match but this isn't a standard tag team match or a single match. Plus I've never gotten the opportunity to share the ring with Mr York or Mr Fred. Fred is an absolute legend in this business and I am super excited that I get the opportunity to lock up with someone that has such longevity and a historical career to date. I've talked about my feelings towards Mr. York already. Everyone knows that I do know how to deal with someone like him. Fred is the variable though. I do know that he will be gunning for his son Tyler in this match and not me. That's a mistake he's going to make if he doesn't concentrate on what I can do in that ring. I made the proclamation that I will climb to the mountain tops of IIW and make myself the focal point of everything. I'm here to show the world that nice guys can indeed finish 1st. I will prove that point and make a statement at mayhem showing that positivity will always win when over negativity. I get to share the ring with 5 of the top talents here and IIW and that makes me very happy. I could come out of this with 5 new best friends if I play my cards right and that's exactly what I intend on doing.
Agatha - You are the only one that's using this match as an opportunity to make friends. I can promise you someone like Mr. Cavanaugh or definitely Mr. York are not looking to come out of this with new friends. You need to have your head on a swivel Curtis. These guys are shifty and cannot be trusted.
Curtis - I have eyes in the back of my head Agatha you don't need to worry about that. I understand the nature of this kind of match and I fully understand that not everyone looks to make friends but I'm a persistent little guy and I will get my point across. You say they are shifty and cannot be trusted. I feel they are damaged people that just need to be shown love and have someone remind them that they truly are blessed and every way. I do appreciate your concern and understand most of these guys want to do great physical harm to me and will make sure I know what's going on at all times.
Rose - It's always good to have a team to protect yourself in there.
Curtis - Yes and no having to rely on people you don't really know is always hard to do. Thankfully I'm trusting to a fault and would trust my team with my life. I have full faith that Tyler and TJ will do everything in their power to work with me as one unit to take home the big win.
Agatha - how well do you think the others will work together.
Curtis - Mr York and Mr Fred will do fine as a team. They are both under the spell of Mr Page. Mr Cavanaugh is the variable that they need to keep a close eye on. He doesn't seem like an overly friendly person. I can't imagine he knows how to play well with others. But only time will tell. But that's more than enough shop talk the food should be delivered in a few minutes and I need to get back to these games to up my ticket count. I need to get that pikachu or I'm not gonna be able to sleep tonight.
Rose - You have possibly 2 of the biggest matches of your career coming up Curtis and all you can think about is playing arcade games to win tickets to win a stuffed animal. You truly are one of a kind Curtis.
Curtis - Why thank you Rose
Curtis jumps up and runs across the restaurant to start winning more tickets. Rose and Agatha stared at the menu shaking their heads because the food doesn't look as good as Curtis makes it out to be. The manager comes over looking to take their order. They order a couple of pizzas and some wings hopand some wings hoping Curtis will be OK with that. The scene fades to black.

(The scene opens up and we are inside of a apartment in London, the open floor plan shows that the living room area is very spacious, sofa’s are in the middle of the room with a glass coffee table, windows overlooking the great city and a double door leading onto a balcony is wide open letting in the sun as the UK is experiencing its first heat wave in decades. The sun is beaming through, the camera can feel the heat on the screen, a few seconds later from another room we see TJ Alexander enters the living room, TJ who is wearing some flip-flops, black Nike shorts and a black cut-sleeve t-shirt. TJ plant’s himself on one of the sofas.)
“Did you all think that my loss at Worlds Collide would be the end of me? Did you all thought that I losing to Scotty Adams for the Television championship would finish me off and I would crawl under some rock and disappear? No it hasn’t because I will always be around fighting and clawing my way through the mud and guys of this IIW, and when the perfect opportunity came along I answered the door and a phone call to be exact from Shaun Hart. I and Shaun haven’t been on speaking terms but he cannot deny my talent and skill and he knows putting me in the Elimination chamber where anything goes that Shaun Hart knows that I will be the card up his sleeve and I’ll do whatever it takes to become the next world champion.”
(A pauses happens)
“Russell Wayne was a great champion and held that championship proudly, he was a defending champion, but since then it has to be decided on a new champion and what a better way than having six members of the roster climb into a cell and go to war, Justin York, Sean Raines, Tyler Debonair, Curtis and John Cavanagh and then add myself to that mix and we have six warriors entering a murderous career ending cage for that prestigious world title.”
(TJ inhales some fresh air)
“It gives me Goosebumps since the announcement last week on Mayhem and I know that me and Shaun Hart had problems before but we are business men and we do what we can for business and I will deliver, but now for the elimination chamber can wait because I’m in a six-man tag team match in the main event of Mayhem this week, my team mates are Curtis Tyler Debonair against John Cavanagh, Fred Debonair and Justin York. First and foremost let’s direct my first attention to the little twerp that runs his mouth so much, Justin York.”
(TJ pauses)
“You see Justin it’s been a minute since you’ve stepped into IIW and to be fair you’ve looked impressive and hell you’re even the International champion but make no mistake about it, the shooting star that your riding will soon change its directory when we meet in this six-man match, and your too over-confident to see it, in this six-man tag I’ll slap you all over the ring from pillar to post and you know what I’ll gladly enjoy it. I remember our first meeting and yeah you do beat me, but a lot have happened since then and since then I’ve improved myself, I have erased my wrongs and I have studied even more. But more importantly Justin is that you’re in two matches on Mayhem in which exhaustion will catch up with you, and leading to the elimination chamber your body will be overspent and limp and Justin I’m gonna make sure you’re hurt so bad that it’s gonna be easy for Fenix to take the International championship away from you, and I’m gonna do it with a smile on my face.”
(TJ smiles)
“Next we have is John Cavanagh and once upon a little time John Cavanagh you were the face of IIW and you were a true legend of the business but the keyword there was “Were” because in reality someone somewhere would’ve knocked you on your arse and bested you, they would’ve have defeated the undefeated streak you had going and your reputation and respect would’ve been thwart out and you’re lucky that it wasn’t me because I would never let you live it down, but for now John Cavanagh you’ll have to ride the coat-tails of that little twerp Justin York and Fred Debonair.”
(TJ smiles)
“Speaking of Fred Debonair I guess out of the three of you Fred you have a little bit more of my respect, you’ve been a champion anywhere you’ve been and you have accolades as long as your arm, and even at 39 years old you still can out-best most rookies, but you won’t out-best me, you and I are on different levels because while your career is dwindling down and you latching onto anything you can, my career is growing and my accolades are growing too. Soon Freddy boy I’ll have the IIW world championship around my waist after I win the elimination chamber, and after I win this six-man tag team match, and I hope that when I win us the match on Mayhem that you won’t be disappointed in your son because he’ll be on the winning team, and you Fred will be on the losing end.”
(Scene ends)

As the Cascade White Humvee makes its way down a busy Sydney street, Fred Debonair in the passenger seat is shaking his head and grumbling to himself. Abe Greenberg, who’s driving, looks over and sees Fred slam his cellphone onto the dashboard, as the car slowly pulls over. Abe: ”What in the world is wrong with you today? That’s the second time I’ve seen that mopey expression on your face and like fifth you’ve thrown your phone down!”Fred: ”Yeah, sorry man… That’s another girl who’s cancelled on me.”Abe: ”You’re throwing a hissy fit over a chick?”Fred: ”This is the third cancellation this week!”Abe: ”Well, that blows but… Wait, you had three dates lined up this week? THREE?! All out here in Australia?!”Fred: ”Well at my age you’ve got to keep your options open, Abe. And when you look like me, hell just generally are me, you’re able to do that! But no, that silly little girl, Steph has done this…”Abe: ”What do you mean?”Fred: ”Well, it’s because of what I did last Mayhem, welcoming her to IIW properly, that these girls have bailed on me!”Abe: ”Jeeze! Do they realise that she’s a bonafide trained athlete?! She can take it!”Fred: ”Well apparently not! But now I understand why mixed matches have never gone down too well here, apparently we have to let these women do whatever they want without repurcussions. I saw her preparing to come at me, so I got there first and I don’t give a shit if people believe me or not. She knows what happens when you step into the ring and she was fair game.”Abe: ”Anyway, we’re here… Let’s go.”
Abe nods past Fred and he turns to see what appears to be a nightclub named “Jezebel” on the opposite side of the road. Both men exit the Hummer and begin to cross the road, Fred placing the shades he had been wearing, ontop of his head as they get to the door. As they walk past the reception and through to the main floor, Fred realises why the club has its given name. He looks around at the two, perhaps three, scantily clad ladies walking around as well as those wearing nothing but clip on thongs dancing on poles around him, “Jezebel” was a strip joint.
Abe nudges Fred towards a table where two men in suits sit, looking the contrary in his t-shirt and shorts, Fred chuckles and heads toward the table… As he shakes hands with both men and sits, along with Abe, a blonde who is around late twenties, possibly early thirties wearing a pair of high heels, checkered skirt and a smile approaches the table. Abe waves his hand around the table making the introductions.
Abe: ”Gentlemen, this is Fred Debonair. Fred, this is Chris and Tony… The Moran brothers.”Fred: ”Gentlemen…”Tony: G’day Fred… Good to finally meet ya, Abe speaks very of ya mate. Before we get down to business though, would either of you like a drink?”Abe: ”Cooler for me, Tony…”Chris: ”Pansy… Fred?”Fred looks the woman up and down nonchalantly, purposely ignoring her bare chest but smiling directly at her. Fred: ”Hey sweetheart, what’s your name?”Blonde: ”Aurora…”Fred: ”Is that like, a stage name or something?”Aurora looks slightly confused as her gaze travels past Fred, to Abe then the Moran brothers before settling back to Fred. Aurora: ”Erm, no… That’s my actual name, Aurora.”Fred: ”And what a lovely name it is… Could I just get a Jack on the rocks…?”
Fred smiles at Aurora, who dutifully nods and smiles back, before headed to the bar. Chris Moran looks over at Fred.
Chris: ”Sorry, Fred? Company policy… We don’t allow fraternising between club staff and clientele, I’m afraid…”Fred: ”Oh, that’s okay Christopher… I’m Fred Debonair, I’m not “clientele” here.”Chris: ”We’ll see…”Fred looks away, trying not to laugh as Abe covers his own up with a cough. Aurora comes back with a tray, handing Abe his drink first, then as she passes Fred his glass he touches her hand, smiling again and locking eyes with hers, her youthful looks showing through. Fred: ”Thank you very much, Aurora… Are you working late tonight?”
She starts to answer, but notices a burning look from Chris, so she saunters off slowly. Fred mouths “Talk later” as he puts the glass to his lips, turning back to the Morans. Looking at the juxtaposed visions before him, Fred was suddenly certain he was looking at the comedy - tragedy theatre masks…
He clicks his teeth as he places his glass down on the coaster in front of him on the table, smiles politely and sits back.Fred: ”Now, shall we get down to business?”Abe: ”Yes, let’s… Gentlemen, Fred as I mentioned previously is a businessman and he can acquire and distribute to you; for your establishment… Shall we say, certain wants and needs.”Fred: ”I’ve got a shipment of certain wants and needs, making its way towards Port Botany as we speak and a member of Debonair Enterprises staffing agency, working at said Docks…”
Fred takes another mouthful of his Jack as the Moran brothers look at eachother a little confused.
Tony: ”You know who owns those Docks right? I mean, outside of the NSW Port Authority…?”Fred: ”Yes, as of six forty-five local time this morning… Me. Jonas Taylor will no longer be an obstacle in your way in that specific area.”
Chris Moran suddenly gets a smile on his, something Fred and Abe hadn’t seen since they arrived. He holds the glass up he’s had for the entire duration, as Fred holds his own up and they cheers.
Chris: ”Well Fred, looks like you’ve proven me wrong… You’re not clientele at all, you’re a partner.”Fred: ”That's great to hear. Now, we can talk logistics later guys, but there are a few things I need to do before that.”Tony: ”Well Fred, bring some friends tonight… We’ll hook you up in the VIP area and we can sort everything out.”Fred: ”I look forward to it, Tony. Salut!”
All four men raise their glasses, then knock back their drinks. Fred picks his phone up and enters what can only be assumed is a WhatsApp group, potentially for TWC. He begins typing.
Come to Jezebel strip joint in Sydney tonight, my name; VIP. About eight.
He then looks up at Aurora who’s still standing at the bar, smiling at him he winks as the scene slowly dissipates…
…The Sydney Opera House casts its eerie ship sail like shadow on the concourse below it, as Fred Debonair dressed in a pair of black flip-flops, black shorts and an open white flannel shirt, walks toward the rails looking out at the water. In his hand sits a blunt which he puts to his mouth and takes a deep drag of, before exhaling and removing the shades he’s wearing…Fred: ”The Sydney Opera House is a modern architectural marvel, breaking ground in nineteen fifty-nine and taking fourteen fourteen years to complete it is a show of strength and above all, a perfect example of teamwork! And this is why I love it, because it reminds me of the growth and strides taken within The Welcoming Committee! The teamwork that makes the dream work as it were… Yours truly and Chris Page the current and defending IIW World Tag-Team Champions, however to show how much of a fighting and open minded group we are we have as noted previously taken charge of the Freebird rule with the belts, so for example if Chris or myself were unable to defend, our challengers wouldn’t have to suffer oh no! We’d just add any one of Bam, York or hey even Shaun Hart to the team to give said challengers their fair shot at our gold! On top of that you’ve also got Justin York, The Casino Kid, holding the IIW International Championship! Two belts, technically three, in our ranks and trust me when I say we will be coveting all when the smoke has settled and the dust cleared!
But I digress there is another match coming up very soon, before all that takes place and that involves myself who will not only be at ringside for my boy Chris Page’s match against Zabian Wells of The Excellence but also taking part in action myself alongside Justin York, who will be also defending his International Title against Jason Fenix which once again shows just how fighting of a team we are! And with us, a man I’ve not stood side by side with in a very long time… John Cavanagh! Now Justin and myself never really crossed paths before Chris Page brought us together in The Welcoming Committee but I have loved every moment that he’s got under my “Zen” son’s skin… Nobody has been able to get to that boy and trust me they’ve tried but Justin? He did and it’s been great. And Cav? Well, he and I have been on either side of the fence over the last decade, longer even… We’ve butted heads and we’ve joined forces I guess we’ve both established now, out of necessity. And this is another one of those times… John I said we weren’t over and I guess in a way we aren’t, but whenever I’ve had you beside me, it’s been fun, it’s been brutal, but it’s been fun and I’m pretty sure when we destroy Curtis, Alexander and my heh… Son. It’ll be no different!”
Fred takes another drag of his joint before blowing smoke toward the Opera House, leaning on the rail with his back to the water. He grins as he continues to talk…
Fred: ”T.J… Alexander, please remind me who you are man, I mean no disrespect but your name escapes my memory, oh no wait! Got it… Aren’t you the guy who s… No, I don’t wanna finish that sentence, I did make a promise to Osh and Shaun that I wouldn’t go there and I won’t. I am aware that you are the former, what was it? Television Champion? Something like that anyway and I feel bad man because you say that you actually respect me, you hyped me up but like any good man does you made sure not to hype me up over yourself, I’d have been very disappointed if you had. Although Teej, can I call you Teej? I’m gonna call you Teej. Anyway I think it’s cute, that you believe Fred Debonair’s career is going to start “dwindling down” because I’m almost 40… Because the truth is son, I’ve never felt so alive! I’ve never felt so invigorated to get into that ring and break some heads and lucky you Teej! You’re the first to go!
Then, we have Curtis… Good ol’ Curtis, quite literally! The man who can do no wrong and sees no wrong in others! Well I’d say until recently that is, because there’s no way in hell you look at The Welcoming Committee and you smile and wave and see the goodness in all of us! Not a chance, you’re ready to come all guns blazing and fight for what’s right, aren’t you Curly?! You’re just itching to climb into this ring against myself, York and Cav… I mean hell, what is it with you guys?! Both you and Alexander talking about my legendary status and how big I am in the world of wrestling and essentially how this match was built around me! And as much as that’s all true, I like to help the little people out so, Curly? Don’t worry, because I won’t just be gunning for my son… You’ve definitely got a target on your back, because that’s clearly what you want, right?”
Fred takes another drag of the joint and puffs the smoke in the air as he begins to walk away from the water placing the shades back over his eyes.
Fred: ”And then there’s my son, my offspring, whatever you want to call him… Tyler Debonair. The one who ruined my marriage, my relationship with my family, my career… All of it! Now don’t get it twisted I take responsibility fully for my part played but hell, trying to be a single father to Tyler after his mum walked out, because of him was nigh on impossible!! This boy took every ounce of my being and I, like a good father was there for him always! Taking the crusts on the loaf if there was only two slices left, taking the medicine first to show him it wasn’t disgusting even if it was… WAIVING my IIW contract the first time around so that Osh would take my son on, the same son who’d just been released from a neuropsychological hospital at the time. These are the things that a father does for their child despite being drained mentally and physically. But that’s okay! That’s okay Tyler because soon you’re about to learn first hand what it’s like to have that energy all sapped out of you… You’re young to learn what it’s like to feel as though everything around you is crumbling and you can’t seem to keep your head straight! I’m going to finally show you why, you should never disrespect your parents!
Monday night Tyler, you along with Teej and Curly will understand that there are levels to this game and along with John Cavanagh, The Welcoming Committee will endeavour to make sure you learn this lesson! There will be no ifs, ands or buts about it boy! Because I AM your father and you will do as you're told kid!”
Fred takes one more drag on the joint before flicking it behind him and we see it drop into the water. He looks over to his left and sees a lady standing there, watching him. He has to do a double take before realising it’s Aurora, he smirks and walks toward her.
Fred: ”Wow, hi… I didn’t actually recognise you with your clothes on!”Aurora: ”Erm, thanks…? Anyway! Where are we going tonight?”Fred: ”Well tonight I’m going to let you pick the place we go to eat, but on Monday you’re coming to see me in action…”Aurora: ”In action??”Fred: ”At the Qudos Bank Arena, on Mo… Wait, do you know who I am?!”Aurora: ”Yeah course, you’re Fred Debonair…”Fred: ”Yeah but do you know, who I am?”Aurora: ”Not… Really? Sorry, should I know something I don’t?”Fred: ”Oh no, not at all… This is going to be very fun…”/Fin.

IIW television opened up to John Cavanagh standing beneath a draped Irish flag flying over the short overhang of The Blarney Stone Irish Pub in Hell’s Kitchen, New York. John tossed the last bit of his joint before beginning to speak.
While that day may be coming, regardless of how much it pains Justin York and Chris Page, it's not here just yet. Now, with that fact in mind–it's time to focus on the upcoming addition of Monday Night Mayhem. It’s time to focus a bit of our time and energy on our next upcoming contest. And what would that be? Oh yeah, a nice little six man clusterfuck that nobody wanted to see. I mean, just look at the motley crew I somehow find myself to be teamed with–Shithead A and Shithead B. One half of your current reigning IIW World Tag Team Champions and the guy that is doing a forgetful job of holding the championship that I raised from the ashes of the previously fallen IIW. Who are they, some may mask. Fred Debonair and the aforementioned Justin York. Oh, how lovely. As if I didn’t have enough crap to deal with, having three opponents on the opposing team…I’ve gotta deal with two more opponents, on my own team? I see how I’m rewarded for helping you reestablish you in your previous position of authority, Osh. It seems more like there is an all out hit on good old Johnnie Cav. Is that it? Are we bringing the streets to the ring in a way that Johnnie never wanted to before?
Cavanagh chuckled slightly, this world and that world didn’t mix that way. His experiences helped to guide him, he never shied from bloodshed in the ring but this metaphor was beginning to get pushed.
Well, to hell with it. I guess The One Man Dynasty is just going to have to play the cards he was dealt. So, I’ll take this hand with an untrusting smile. I’ll take this misfit team, the team of the little schmuck who couldn’t get laid walking around Time Square in the 70’s with a one hundred dollar bill hanging out of his fly and the asshole who has continued to find a way to get himself involved in my GODDAMN LIFE over and over again! I tell ya, I feel like I’m Bill Murray trapped in a loop in Groundhog’s Day. Alright, alright maybe that was a little bit of an over exaggeration. Let’s face reality, some of the characters may change but one blood sucking leech always remains the same…ain’t that right, Freddy Boy? What’s the plan boys? Justin going to defend the honor of his life partner, and Fred Debonair’s doppelganger by softening up the future IIW World Champion prior to our date in the Chamber? I can’t blame you guys, shit, I’ve been the asshole on the other side barking that order enough times in my career that I can see it coming. As a matter of fact, if that is what is in store for me on Monday–good, I welcome it. See, everyone–yourself included Freddy Boy–has always claimed that Johnnie Cav needed his henchmen to get the job done. Didn’t matter what banner flew over our head, it didn't matter what the stakes were–your jibber jabber regarding me was always the same. I’m going to embrace you two little followers doing the bid of your master. You two want to know why? I don’t really care if you do, you’re going to listen–it’s because sometimes we need rude awakenings. Just like my loss to our opponent Curtis, everything happens for a reason–Curtis woke me up a bit, I had become a bit complacent. You two doing your masters bidding will just take the carnage I unleashed upon the Debonair family not long ago to a whole new level. I don’t fear the predicament that I’ve been put in, and while my two partners and Chris Page are probably having themselves a nice little laugh about it right now…they should know that when those doors are locked in that Chamber and I get my hands on one of those punks, they’re going to feel the same wrath and then some.
John had developed a slight grin upon the right side of his face, his eyes drawing a vacant glare as he seemed to stare passed the camera as if it didn’t exist.
And as for that L I took to Curtis…that is something I’ve been counting down the days to get a little taste of revenge for. Yeah, that’s right Curtis, you were able to defeat the former International Champion. You are one of the few in our business that can claim to hold a one on one pinfall victory over The One Man Dynasty. I wanted to be the bigger man in this instance and give you a congratulatory round of applause.
Johnnie begins to clap his hands back and forth but the expression on his face makes it clear that it is a mockery more than anything.
While you do deserve an applause, you also deserve another ass kicking! I’m happy that you were able to pick up that win, Curtis, I really am. It made me realize that even when you are the better competitor, miracles still occur and the lesser man can still outshine you. Now, Curtis, we all know that is exactly what happened a month ago on Mayhem. Curtis fought as hard as he could, Johnnie Cav took him as if he was lightweight and Power of Positivity Curtis took the win. You deserve the win, it wasn’t a fluke, I misjudged you and here I stand a man defeated by Curtis. But, the beautiful part about this entire situation is that this Monday—I get a second opportunity to pick you to pieces. I have a second date in the ring with Curtis and another chance to show that little punk what I’m really capable of doing inside the squared circle. Funny thing though—I will more than probably get my hands on you a second time inside of the Chamber, Curtis. I wonder if you will still be preaching the same nonsense after two more run ins with good old Johnnie Cav.
Cavanagh stopped for a moment and smiled before continuing.
Then there is the elephant in the room, the other Debonair that I’ve laid waste to. Tyler, the shining star in the IIW galaxy when I first stepped foot into this promotion. The shining star that quickly fell by the wayside after I got done taking the International Championship off of his hands. The other Debonair, the one that made his prissy father so agitated that Freddy actually turned on his own seed. Ya know what Tyler? That’s one of the most pathetic things I have ever heard. A father, turning on his own son. I can’t see it, I just don’t understand how much dead weight you must really be if your own father tried to put you out of your misery. I gotta give you a sliver of credit though—it’s gotta be tough showing up to work when you know even your own flesh and blood wants nothing to do with you. Maybe I’ll finish the job I started the first time we met in the ring. Maybe this time I’ll leave you in the morgue instead of in a hospital bed.
Cavanagh turned his back to the camera and began to walk off before stopping in his tracks, he snapped his fingers and turned back to the camera.
Oh, how could I forget about the most outlandish opponent I have at Mayhem. The returning TJ Alexander, the man I nearly forgot to bring up by name. Why is that? Because I am wholeheartedly disgusted in the fact that this piss ant could return and just be handed a spot in the Elimination Chamber all because Russell Wayne had to go the way of the Dodo bird. Well, TJ, allow me to introduce myself to you…I’m John Cavanagh, some people know me as The One Man Dynasty, others as Hell’s Kitchen’s Favorite Son, even more probably know me as the miserable potato eating bastard that shows up to the IIW to make everyone else’s day as miserable as his own. So, TJ, before I break reality to you and leave you broken and exit the Elimination Chamber the brand new IIW World Champion…I’ll have to give you a lesson in just who the hell I am in our little six man tag team showdown on Maybem. See you five assholes at Mayhem, can’t wait.
Cavanagh turned his back once again and walk off as the scene cut to static.
