We open up on the streets of Brooklyn New York as IIW wrestler and former NFL Defensive lineman sit on a Bench in front of the Brooklyn Nets stadium while eating a New York hotdog.
Knox: You know I heard the show in LA was a success, some shenanigans here and there but overall Mr. Hart delivered a great show without me, and don't go to jumping to conclusions it's not because Mr. Hart didn't want me on the show its because I refused to perform in that overrated city of LA.
Knox goes back to eating on his hot dog while talking still.
Knox: We should've had the first US show here in Brooklyn but you know how politics are they pick the city with all the bright lights but our time is coming just like my Nets winning the NBA Championship this season and to make sure they know what a winner looks like I'm going to lace up my boots and kick some new guys ass named Max Stone.
Knox laughs with his mouth full and food flies everywhere as some gets on the camera and they have to wipe it off.
Knox: Now I saw the little video segment he did for the show and I have to say I'm not impressed with the weird clocks and shit. This is wrestling, not math class you nerd, we don't care what time you think it is because when the bell ring it's going to be ass-kicking time, and I'm going to damn sure bully your ass in the ring and show you that you are all washed up buddy.
Knox wipes his mouth with his arm.
Knox: Yeah I saw you used to be a world-class wrestler that had it all, the money, the women, and the fans but it all fizzled away when someone better came along and dropped you down to irrelevancy and I hate to break it to you, its about to happen to you again!
Knox smirks,
Knox: You see I can tell already you are too broken and beat up to hang with me. I can tell that I'm going to be able to break you down easily in that ring. You have expired in the wrestling world and now it's up to me to take out the trash on August twenty-second and make sure you know your time has been up and I'm up next. See you soon chico!
Knox finishes eating his hot dog and then walks off

RETURN
We find ourselves in a room with dark walls dimly lit by candles. The walls are covered with mounted antique CLOCKS of all shapes and sizes. They each make their own ticking and mechanical noises.
The camera pans over to the man we have come to know as MAX STONE. He's looking into a watch that he's dangling on a golden chain.
Max: Timeā¦ the most precious resource available to all mankind.
They say it can heal all wounds.
They say it can fix almost anything.
We trade it in for a roof over our heads and food in our stomachs.
We never have enough of it and we always want more of it.
Time will never stop moving. Time will leave you behind if you allow it.
Max looks up from his watch and turns to the camera.
Max: Time gives us beginnings and time gives us ends. Time can hit you like a wave crashing on a beach and wash away the blemishes and imperfections thus providing you a brand new smooth canvas.
The time has come in the year of our Lord, 2022, for the IIW to experience a new era. A new era in which a fan can buy a ticket to a show and walk away feeling that they just witnessed absolute greatness. An era where a rising tide will lift all ships and we will all reach new heights together.
Max blows a candle out and the room gets significantly darker.
Max: On August 22nd, it's time for the IIW to be welcomed into the STONE AGE where we begin by purging the delusions from the ages that have come before.
When I make my in ring debut in the IIW, I will be going one on one against a big bully of a bastard named Knox. A mean, nasty, ugly hot dog scarfing ex NFL defensive tackle is the one who has been chosen to cross through the gate first.
The reality that exists solely in the mind of Knox is that he's going to walk into that ring and face a feeble old man. He's going to throw this old man around. He's going to crack his bones. He's going to make him wish he hadn't decided to make an attempt at doing any of this again.
A clock in the background begins to quietly chime.
Max: But that's delusion right there. However, Knox, I'm going to let you in on a little secret.
Another clock chimes.
Max: I'm delusional too. And I'm not talking about the kind of delusion where I believe an estrogen laden cry baby diva Brooklyn Nets team will win it all. No, no.
Maybe I'm delusional enough to think I can step back in an arena with thousands of fans and take you down. Maybe YOUR reality is correct and mine is a pipe dream.
Max turns his attention to his watch once more as all the clocks begin chiming. Max raises his arms to the side and slowly lifts them up. The chiming stops and the hands in each and every clock start spinning backwards.
Max: I may be a little long in the tooth but I'm turning the clock back on Monday Night and will send you on the long path back to Brooklyn wondering how it all went so wrong. Replaying every possible moment of the match kicking yourself for letting this old man beat you. Wishing you had more time to figure it out.
Max blows another candle out. Then another. The room goes dark.
Welcome to the Stone Age
