CHARACTER INFORMATION
GIMMICK: He is a naturally gifted wrestler who wants to prove himself and become one of the greats.
CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY: Jomich is a second-generation wrestler. His father, Richard Starr, was well known internationally, but never won a world championship. Jom wants to bring world gold to the family and solidify the Starrs as a wrestling dynasty. He chose the IIW because he has been watching its shows and PPVs and is a fan of the federation. He has a deal with his father that if he doesn't win a championship by the time he turns 20, he will put wrestling aside and continue his education.
The young Starr is talented but inexperienced. He may sometimes interact with fans when he should be continuing to press an advantage on a downed foe. He is also unused to dealing with the chicanery of less scrupulous opponents. If he gets angered, though, instead of attacking wildly, he will become more focused on his technical skills to try to take his target apart.
His best weapons in a match are technical wrestling and Pao Pat Mei (leopard style) kung fu, a form that focuses on movement and hand strikes.
ENTRANCE (OPTIONAL): Jom jumps through the curtains and stands on the ramp/in the aisle/or whatever is appropriate for the setting. With both arms raised in the air and his index fingers pointing up, he will lower his hands to point at the audience, yelling "This one's for you!" He will then walk to the ring, clapping hands and perhaps stopping to talk or interact with fans who catch his attention. Upon reaching the ring, he will jump onto the apron, grab the top rope with his left hand, and lean back, pumping one fist several times and yelling "Let's do this!" before getting in and waiting for the match to start.
If he has a championship, he will take it off before he starts walking to the ring, and will let the fans touch it as he passes. When he gets into the ring, he holds it over his head while slowly turning in a circle. He then holds it over one shoulder, looks at his opponent, and say "If you want it, come take it!"
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
He graduated high school recently, so he hasn't accomplished much as of yet.
