A NEW BITCH IS IN TOWN. SHUT UP… AND LISTEN It was only a week ago when I heard the news that IIW was moving the female division to the show called Combat. In my eyes, this was a stupid thing to do since it meant more distractions for the males, who only have half the brain inside that locker room. I wasn’t going to be the girl to stand around and let some male drool all over me like I was a cooked steak or a slab of meat. Don’t even get me started on the other females around here with their pigtails and lip gloss like they are trying to impress. Just because someone is jealous of my body doesn’t mean they have to be a hater. I was sitting in the hairdresser's chair getting my hair dyed and styled when I got that call that would change my entire life. The phone was ringing, and the number read unknown caller, which was quite odd since I never received calls like that ever. I decided to answer the call to be greeted by a voice that was very attached to the conversation.
( ++ Man ++ )
We have decided to move the female division to combat. I know you just agreed to sign here, but I was hoping it would be alright with you to join that brand to represent the females in the company.
I'm not going to lie; I was a little pissed off that they would promise me things then rip them away just to go to some second-rate show. Everyone in IIW knows that Mayhem is where the main talent wants to be, but I had little to no choice in this matter as it was being forced on me.
( ++ Skylar Payten ++ ) Well, isn’t that some bullshit? I was told when I signed the contract I would be competing on Mayhem, and now you have me here on Combat. I guess if you must book me with these other attention-seeking bimbos, then you must. Don’t expect me to show up and play nice with them either because this b*tch doesn’t play well with others. I really didn’t care if he didn’t like my response because I was known to have a bad attitude, and that wasn’t going to change for no man. It was nothing but awkward silence once he knew my intentions for coming to the company. I am in the middle of getting my hair done, so instead of bothering me, don’t you have some suit work to get back to doing? I already said I would be at Combat, so go ahead and hang up the phone and shut up.
The girl who was cutting and dying my hair was thrown back when I hung up my cell phone; she already knew me from the past, as she has done my hair on several occasions.
( ++ Skylar Payten ++ ) Men are all the same: They talk to us like we have no idea what we are doing or if we don’t act the way they want us to. I have never let a man control me in a relationship, and I am not about to let them now.
She continued cutting my hair, and wasn’t one to make small talk with her clients, but she muttered some excuses out of her lipstick mouth.
( ++ Paige Payten - Sister ++ ) You ever try taking a different approach, Sky? You have always been a bitch, but it never really gets you anywhere other than in trouble. I know I am your sister, but at the same time, you need to think more about your career and less about being tough.
She was getting on my nerves and patience like any sister would naturally, and the only reason I hadn’t started a fight was because she was family. Don’t get it wrong, though; if she continued to be mouthy, I would put her in her place very quickly.
( ++ Skylar Payten ++ ) Have you ever tried doing your job without trying to give advice about a business you know nothing about? You sit here and cut hair all day long and know absolutely nothing about pro wrestling, so I really don’t think you should talk.
I knew that would upset her, but it was really her own fault for putting herself in that position, and the silence grew between us two. After a little while, she finally spoke again, but this time she wasn’t trying to tell me what to do.
( ++ Paige Payten - Sister ++ ) Do you have a match booked yet with this company that you signed up with, or will it be like the other company?
The other company she was referring to was a small independent wrestling company that had signed me, but the promoter was a snake. He booked me to wrestle one match and never even paid me for it before releasing my contract.
( ++ Skylar Payten ++ ) They claim they only released me because I broke my contract by placing my hands on that bimbo in the locker room. Like for real, she deserved it, batting her stupid little eyebrows at me like she was a princess. She needed her ass kicked, and luckily for me, I saw the chance and took it.
I knew there would be punishments for the way I acted, but I didn’t care. I was doing what I felt was right for business. If anything, that little snitch should have gotten more for running to management and complaining like she did.
( ++ Paige Payten - Sister ++ ) That girl was just trying to do her job, Sky, and you took it the wrong way, like you always do, just like I am doing mine. Now stop moving; it makes it difficult to cut your hair when you keep spinning around in your chair.
It was something I always did that would piss off my sister, and anything to get a reaction out of her I was willing to do. I knew she was mildly annoyed with me, but that gave me satisfaction that I was doing it right.
( ++ Skylar Payten ++ ) She was a stupid blonde anyway. Speaking of dumb bimbos, that brings me to Jasmine Raye, or, since she looks like a man, we can call her Jasmike Raye. Do you think you could add a couple more layers of lipstick on those big lips of yours? Better yet, let’s mask the face up with more eye shadow so it makes you look more mysterious. My sister was astonished by what I was saying, judging this other girl's appearance, but it was funny, so I didn’t care. If Jasmine cared so much about wrestling, she wouldn’t dress like she does and slap a bunch of make up on all the time.
( ++ Paige Payten - Sister ++ ) Again, you are jumping to conclusions. Skylar - Do you even know this woman, or are you just assuming that's how she is?
I could tell my sister was red in the face and embarrassed to be around me right now, but that made it much better. She has known me our entire lives and should have known that I wasn’t going to do things differently just because of what she says.
( ++ Skylar Payten ++ ) Jasmike? No, I don’t know her personally, but come on now, take one look at her, and tell me it doesn’t look like a dude trying to be a female. You see, our match will be like my previous ones, where I walk out to the crowd hating me and you get those cheers. I will tell you that the chants won’t predict the outcome of the match, though. I always get what I want, no matter the circumstances.
I was laughing in the chair as my sister continued to trim my hair in preparation for my hair dye. I will still spin occasionally just to keep her aggravated.
( ++ Paige Payten - Sister ++ ) Did you want a different color this time?
I usually stick to one color, even though my hair doesn’t need dye. I usually do it just to keep it bright and vibrant. I spun my chair around and faced her, looking at her as seriously as possible.
( ++ Skylar Payten ++ ) Do we ever change it? You should know the goddamn answer by now.
You would have to understand our relationship to know that we usually speak to each other this way and that I was raised to be a bitchy person towards people. She began applying the dye to my hair as we continued to converse about my match.
( ++ Skylar Payten ++ ) I really don’t think Jasmike is someone I need to be worried about in the company. From what I heard, she isn’t someone I should either fear or stress about. She might be a fifth generation superstar, but, hun, let me tell you, I think it skipped your generation. Just a word of advice: money is the root of all evil and controls the world. Tell me again you aren’t in this industry for the money rather than the love of the sport.
I knew If she was really in this industry for the love of the sport, she wouldn’t mind me stealing her paycheck from underneath her. The fans don’t want to pay money for tickets to see some bimbo prance around the ring doing this for love.
( ++ Paige Payten - Sister ++ ) Do you love this business, Skylar, or do you do it for other reasons? My sister finally asked a question that made sense. I was so proud of her, but I would never tell her that or show her. The first thing I looked at secretly when signing my contract was the dollar amount next to my pay cut.
( ++ Skylar Payten ++ ) There are other reasons to want to wrestle. If Jasmike doesn’t want her cut from the match, I will gladly take it off her hands. How corny do you have to be to tell the world and everyone watching that you are doing this for the love of the sport? Listen to me, darling, you are better off continuing to be a talent scout for your mother's company than wrestling in this one.
It was almost time for me to wash out my hair dye, but my sister stopped me from talking, knowing she would have to dunk my head under water. Before we did that together, she allowed me to speak one more time.
( ++ Skylar Payten ++ ) Jasmike: Come combat, we will see each other in that ring, and hopefully you know there will be no more talking, just fists. Once I arrive in IIW, the whole female division will be on notice that the new bitch is in town.

Through The Looking Glass
The sound of a distant thunder echoed throughout an empty room. A small table sat in the middle with four empty chairs. A flash of lightning and for a moment a figure sat in the chair that sat at the head of the table, but disappeared as the light dimmed. Another crash and flash and the figure appeared again. Long ears shifting as if listening to the call of the wind.
As the room lit out once more and the figure solidified. Their body was rigid and as still as a statue, except for the cumbersome, almost zombie-like movement of those ears.
The white rabbit: We hear the murmurs. The soft subtle cries of those disheartened by the dissociative and melancholy words of their peers.
The nose twitched.
The white rabbit: We have waited. Watching and hating. Growing stronger on the fuel that empowers us. We are the voices. That speak in hushed, unified tones. Collected by those who go unheard.
The sound of thunder echoed as the rabbit paused.
The white Rabbit: We.. are all the white rabbit.
The camera shook as a second figure began to form in the seat the the rabbit's right.
The white rabbit: Mother, Mother the lights are out. The time has come to return and turn this land of pestilence, debauchery, thieves, and forked tongue liars... Into our personal playground.
A third figure joined the other two, a male with long, dark hair. His face twisted into a dark smile.
Ian Masters: And here I thought I would never have another reason to open my toy box. The rabbit shifted its focus and tilted its head in a jerky motion. The move made the new arrival pause.
The white rabbit: Our time. Is coming. We have much to do. We start with this.. A Lister... As she would like to be thought of. And show the world what fear tastes like. What TRUE fear is. What TRUE pain is.
Then they are joined by yet another figure. This time the figure is softer, more feminine in nature to a certain extent. An ethereal hauntingly beautiful voice begins to sing a tune. The words sending chills down the spine and tremors to the soul.
'Your magic, white rabbit Has left its writing on the wall We follow like Alice And just keep diving down the hole You can't fix your broken promise Our ties have come undone I will not be used to be battered and abused It's the reason why I choose to cut my losses Your lies fool no one'
From out of the shadows come the Beautiful Nightmare. Jasmine takes a seat beside the White Rabbit and in front of Ian who continues to caress his treasured toy box. She looks to her immediate right.
Jasmine Raye: Hola Lenore..
Then she kisses the Rabbit on the forehead with a grin.
Jasmine Raye: Hola Papa.
Finally her gaze falls onto Ian. Her smile widens.
Jasmine Raye: Mi amor...
The White Rabbit: Dear little nightmare. We may all be family. But we are here to discuss your... Awakening.. nothing more.
The rabbit's head jerked slightly again.
The white rabbit: For too long this world has been made weak of the mind and the spirit. Those in with the right people... Stand over those who are not..
Lenore smirked as she listened on. Jasmine nodded solemnly and reverently before clearing her throat.
Jasmine Raye: I am listening, Papa. Teach me everything I need to know and learn. I'm ready to be awakened, to unleash my full potential and power. It is time..
The white rabbit's ears twitched as did their nose. The head tilted as if inquisitively. The silence in the room was deafening as the distant thunder called once more.
The white rabbit: One must be at home in this wonderland. A realm outside the norms of society. They must be at one with not just themselves, but their inner demons. Their suffering must not only fester within, but show through the surface.
Her blue-green eyes began to flash as she inwardly recalled all the negative things said about and done to her beloved family. But once she remembered the words said by her opponent Skylar Payten, her anger intensified by leaps and bounds.
Yes she is indeed one of those who wrestle for the love of the sport. The paychecks are nothing more than a bonus to her. But if Skylar is that hard up for financial gain, Jas will be more than happy to shove the check down her throat or straight up her obviously nonexistent ass. Without lubricants of course. She looked the type to enjoy things going up her ass raw. Or going down her throat.
The white rabbit: Channel it and let the voices of those suppressed.. past and present. Speak through you.
Jasmine nodded her head as she closed her eyes. Deep breaths in and out as she freed herself to allow the voices of the present and past to take full control over her. Her eyes slowly opened, showing glowing aquamarine eyes in stead of her normal blue-green eyes. Her usually cheery tone replaced by an eerie voice that made blood curdle in your veins.
Jasmine Raye: Skylar, Skylar, Skylar. So we’re resorting to the oh so popular basic overused schtick of body-shaming and juvenile behavior, eh? Oh ok. My turn to shit talk. So you say that I look like a man, thus the reason for my makeup? Last I checked sweetie, you don’t look much like a female either. No one has ever asked me what gender I am. So how many times were YOU mistaken for a thinner Nicole Bass? Or I probably should not mention Nicole because comparing you to her would be an insult to the dead. So would comparing you to Alpha Female or Brigitte Nielsen be insulting enough without being or sounding too disrespectful?
A dark threateningly seductive smirk began forming on the voluptuous rookie’s face as she continued on with her verbal assault against her unsuspecting opponent. This is a side rarely from the Beautiful Nightmare. Is this a sign of things to come? The world may never know…
Jasmine Raye: All the infantile simplistic things you have been saying about me? My looks? My body? My family’s proud lineage? Guess what? I’ve heard it all before, many years ago. It didn’t bother me then; doesn’t bother me now either. You gotta come harder and a lot more creative than that to irk my nerves. You’re on the same intellectual level as preKindergarten kids insulting each other’s moms on the school playground or high school jocks picking on nerds in the hall. You don’t think that I have what it takes to beat someone like you? I can show you a hell of a lot better than I can tell your Regina George looking ass…
The rabbit's movement slowly became more lurched as if to catch some unseen entity.
The white rabbit: RUN!
