[The scene opens with a dimly lit wrestling ring, adorned with colorful spotlights. The crowd is buzzing with anticipation as the camera zooms in on Ryan McCann and Chris Norton, standing side by side, dressed in their flamboyant wrestling gear.]
Ryan McCann (with a smug grin): Ladies and gentlemen, feast your eyes upon the most technically gifted wrestler to grace this squared circle! I am Ryan McCann, the epitome of wrestling excellence. My technical prowess knows no bounds, and I execute every move with precision, leaving my opponents begging for mercy!
[The crowd boos Ryan, but he remains unfazed.]
Chris Norton (striking a pose): And let's not forget the most beautiful man in wrestling, yours truly, Chris Norton! Look at this face, people! It's a work of art! I'm like a Greek god come to life, bringing charisma and charm to this ring like nobody else can!
[The crowd erupts in a mix of boos and cheers, captivated by Chris's self-assured presence.]
Ryan McCann (raising an eyebrow): Now, you might be wondering, how can two individuals with such larger-than-life egos work together? Well, let me tell you, it's simple. We are Pretty Technical, the perfect fusion of beauty and technicality!
Chris Norton (grinning mischievously): That's right, folks! We've got the brains and the beauty, the style and the substance. Ryan here might be a master of holds, locks, and submissions, but it's my flair that adds that extra sparkle to our performances!
Ryan McCann (nodding): Chris is the yin to my yang, the perfect complement to my technical brilliance. Together, we are an unstoppable force, a symphony of wrestling artistry that will leave you breathless!
Chris Norton (pointing at Ryan): And when I step into that ring, trust me, the competition won't know what hit them. They'll be too busy mesmerized by my dazzling smile and undeniable charm!
[Ryan and Chris share a knowing smirk, their rivalry turned into a shared understanding.]
Ryan McCann: So, to all the wrestlers out there, prepare yourselves! Pretty Technical is here to show you what true beauty and technical prowess can achieve when they join forces. We're coming for that championship gold, and nothing will stand in our way!
Chris Norton: That's right, ladies and gentlemen! Get ready to witness a spectacle like no other. Pretty Technical will captivate your hearts, dazzle your eyes, and leave you begging for more!
Ryan McCann (smirking): Ah, The Mechanics. Don't think for a second that we've forgotten about you. The self-proclaimed masters of strength and acrobatics, huh? Well, we've got news for you.
Chris Norton (sarcastically): Oh, absolutely! We're just trembling with fear at the thought of facing you. Your flashy flips and power moves might impress some, but you're about to learn a valuable lesson in true wrestling artistry.
Ryan McCann (confidently): While you rely on brute force and high-flying stunts, we'll be outsmarting you at every turn. The Mechanics may think they have the advantage, but they've never faced a team as well-rounded as Pretty Technical.
Chris Norton (raising an eyebrow): That's right, fellas. You might be strong, but strength alone won't save you from the beauty and precision we bring to the ring. Prepare to witness a masterclass in technicality and charisma that will leave you questioning your own abilities.
Ryan McCann (smirking): So, Mechanics, enjoy your fleeting moment in the spotlight while it lasts. Because when Pretty Technical steps into that ring, we'll expose your weaknesses and show the world what true wrestling excellence looks like.
Chris Norton (with a wicked grin): Get ready to be dazzled, Mechanics. Pretty Technical is about to redefine the meaning of perfection in this industry. You won't know what hit you when we leave you lying flat on your backs, gasping for air.
[Ryan and Chris share a nod, their confidence unshakable as they turn their attention back to their upcoming match against The Mechanics.]
Ryan McCann: So, Mechanics, prepare yourselves for a masterclass in technicality and a lesson in true beauty. Your time in the spotlight is about to be overshadowed by Pretty Technical!
Chris Norton: And remember, boys, pretty always wins in the end. Get ready to face the most technically stunning and devastatingly handsome team that ever stepped foot in that ring. Prepare for your downfall!
[The camera pans out as Ryan and Chris strike a final pose, exuding arrogance and determination. The crowd roars with anticipation, eager to witness the clash of these two confident teams. The stage is set for an unforgettable showdown between Pretty Technical and The Mechanics.]

{Date: Monday, May 29th}
{Time: 6:00 a.m. UKT}
{Place: Manchester, London}
{Location: XS Manchester radio station 106.1 FM}
[Camera's begin rolling as we see Zeb "The Spider" Webb and "Taboo" Drew Donahue of IIW's pro wrestling tag team, The Mechanics. Both men wearing denim jeans, work boots and new merch in the form of a blue background and white logo t-shirt that shows a Mechanics wrench inside a hectogon shape on the front with a phrase on the back that reads "If it's broke, fix it!"]
{off-air voice} We are going live in five, four, three.. (the voice goes silent as hand signals are used to countdown from two-to-one followed by a finger pointing gesture to indicate "you're on."
[The two men adjust the studio microphones to their liking and slide on a pair of headphones then reposition themselves in the black leather swivel guest chairs provided as the host of Breakfast with Alex James starts the show.]
Alex James: Goooood morning, Manchester! Today on XS Manchester 106.1 FM we have a special treat, especially for all you professional wrestling enthusiasts out there listening because LIVE! in studio, are potentially two of the fastest rising stars and fan favorites inside the tag team division. That being of course the two true blue collar brawlers joining us today. Zeb Webb and Drew Donahue, aka The Mechanics. Thank you for being here..
Drew Donahue: OHH YEAH!!! Tip of the mornin' to yah! It's a pleasure and a privilege good sir but uh, where's breakfast?! This show IS called BREAKFAST with Issac Jones, correct? So where's the biscuits and gravy? Where's the bacon and eggs? Where's the flapjacks and maple syrup? No Irish coffee? No sausage links?? I don't even see tea and crumpets!! That's just rude hosting if you ask me.. ya bloody wanker! Thought there would at least be some parched peas, Eccles cake, Manchester tart, black pudding, rag pudding and pasty barms. Something, anything to fill up my belly! Hey Zebby, you still got thi Snickers bar?! Because I'm not me when I'm hungry..
[The host let's a cackled laugh slip through the lips of his crooked smile before correcting one of his guests.]
A.J. - Our show is actually called breakfast with Alex James and food for thought is what's on the menu this morning, if that's alright with you?
Double D: ta-mater, tah-mata!
Z-Dub: Here try this.
[Zeb Webb unwraps a Snickers and hands it to Drew Donahue, who takes a big chunk out of the chocolate candy bar with one bite.]
Double D: mmm, now that's some yummy nummers!
Z-Dub (Turning to the host) Sorry about that, Big guy here gets a little cranky when he doesn't eat.
Double D: Sure could use a little something to wash it down.. Good thing I brought some silly water from back home.
(Drew Donahue takes a sip of clear liquid from a mason jar and let's out a satisfyied belch.)
Double D: Ahhh, good stuff. That hits the spot like a bullseye at target practice on the shooting range.
A.J. - oh good lord mate, I can smell that moonshine from here! Put a lid on it, wouldja?
Double D: (sighs) fine Mr. Burger King, have it your way..
(Drew Donahue twists the lid back onto the mason tightening it shut.)
A.J.- Jimminy Christmas! Let's try to get this trainwreck back on track, shall we? You are here to help promote Intense International Wrestling's UK tour, including this week's Mayhem show from right here in Manchester. What can you tell us about the live event and what can we expect to see?
Z-Dub: Those who have watched Mayhem knows anything can happen but for those who have yet to see what IIW has to offer, I think it's safe to say that you will get your money's worth regardless of who wins or how it goes down. This week marks the beginning of an 8 team tournament within the tag division and the winners? Will face the Gangsters of God in a tag team championship match.
Double D: The Mechanics were quick to sign on that dotted line because winning those tag straps is what it's all about for us. It's why we're here but there's a locker room full of competitors who would love nothing less than to make their mark as tag team champions or in some cases, add to their collection of oversized golden belt buckles! There's likely to be a surprise or two added along the way as more teams will continue to be added into mix before showtime comes around..
A.J. - Back in the 80's, a certain wrestling promotion the north east side of the U.S.A. began getting a bit of a bad reputation for cartoonish gimmicks and rubbish storylines. Such as a trash man, a repo man, a goon, a clown, an evil dentist, a rooster, a gobbledygooker, whatever that is. Hokey match stipulations like a kiss my foot match and a cry baby match are just two that comes to mind. With a tag team like The Mechanics, do you feel as if you may be pigeon holed into a gimmick that won't draw money or get over with the fans?
Zeb Webb: Far as The Mechanics go, it's no gimmick to us. It's what we do, it's what we've done most of our adult lives and it's who we are. Drew and myself have spent years turning a wrench under just about every form of transportation that runs on gasoline. There's nothing fake or phony when it comes to our "gimmick" cuz it's the real life genuine thing. All we have done is just be ourselves with the volume turned up to ten, ain't that right Double D?
Drew Donahue: OOH YEAH!! (Said while giving seated pelvic thrusts)
A.J. - Over time the proverbial curtain has been slowly pulled back on the wrestling industry with fans becoming more knowledgeable to the tricks of the trade and how the business actually works both inside the ring and out. Do you see this as a good or bad thing for you and your profession as a whole going forward?
Zeb Webb: Like most things in life, you gotta take the good with the bad, right? I won't speak for my partner Drew here because he has his own voice and thoughts on this but personally I'm kinda old school when it comes to our sport and yes I still do view what we do as a sport. However, with that being said.. we pride ourselves as being both wrestlers AND entertainers. Whether it's in the ring, on the microphone or engaging with fans on social media. There's a certain formula of success in what we do to reach that top level and most people know what that is by now.
Double D: Yep-yep-YEP! You can call it charisma, the gift of gab or the X-factor. Some of these fellas and females have "the look" to make a go of it and go far in this line of work but that select few group of individuals are far and in-between in our business. It's all about making yourself stand out from the pack. Even more so now than before as we're in this post steroids era with more and more talent having a smaller, more agile look. Drew and I? Sure we workout a lot and stay in shape but we're not exactly body builders, either.
Drew Donahue: You got that right Z-DUB! Some people have six pack abs, a built-in bread basket or a psychique that looks like they were sculpted out of granite, marble or whatever they use to carve out a masterpiece of art while my gut resembles more of an untapped beer barrel. That's just the way daddy likes it too! Different strokes for different folks and far as The Mechanics go, we beat to the sound of our own drum, OHH YEAH!
(Panamimes air drum sticks tapping an invisible drum set)
D.D. - BA-Dap-BAP-Dap-BOOM!
Z-DUB: This philosophy isn't exactly something groundbreaking or new to wrestling. Talking people into the building has always been a tried and true way to get the fans to pay their hard earned dollar so they can watch us do what we do inside that squared circle. That element of the game has never and most likely will never change. In today's age of wrestling, it takes more than one facet of the game to be a champion and one trick ponys usually end up limping to the backside of the barn with a bullet that has their name on it before all is said and done.
Double D: Yeah it's hard to argue with that logic. A look is important and so is the gift of gab. Two factors that to this day have made many superstars, some of which successfully transitioned to Hollywood. For a couple good ole' country boys like us? It takes more than that. We both can go in that ring from bell to bell but that alone isn't always enough to get the win. You also have to be smart and use psychology along with a game plan, a strategy if you will.. to get into your opponents heads. Doing that requires careful thought and precise planning. We might not look it but The Mechanics have a pretty descent thinker in our noggin when it comes down to nut cuttin' time!
A.J. - Social media certainly seems to have changed the way talent and fans alike interact and exchange thoughts, ideas or even criticisms. Before you had to search and seek out dirt sheets from so called pro wrestling historians as they like to call themselves these days. What do you think about social media today being used to promote and communicate?
Zeb Webb: I'm not mad at it. It's all about growing our audience. More eyes on the product means more views which translates to a larger demographic watching us do our thang. I don't see any harm in that, even if it means having to deal with a few trolls along the way.
A.J. - Unfortunately we're almost out of time but before I let you two go, I have a few last minute questions to ask if you wouldn't mind obliging me.
Drew Donahue: Go ahead and shoot those questions our way, cowboy..
A.J. - What is your favourite Manchester band?
Zeb Webb: Oasis, hands down my favorite band from here.
Drew Donahue: I gotta go with Simply Red. Who doesn't love "holding back the years?" A true classic right there.
A.J. - Favourite Manchester pub?
Zeb Webb: The Crown and Kettle. If you fancy drinking some pints and flying a few sheets to the wind, that's the place to be for me.
Drew Donahue: Eagle Inn dates back to 1848 and I have a special place in my heart for historic monuments like that.
A.J. - Favourite place for a night out in Manchester?
Drew Donahue: Monday Night Mayhem from the IIW arena, duh! Far as I'm concerned.. There's no better place to be in Manchester!
Zeb Webb: I can't argue with that..
A.J. - We would like to once again thank The Mechanics for taking time out of their busy schedules to join us today and for you wrestling fans listening? We are giving away two free tickets to the Manchester Mayhem show! All you need to do is be the sixth caller when we play The Mechanics favorite Manchester bands, Oasis or Simply Red to win! Any last words or plugs to make before we wrap up?
Drew Donahue: Just this. Come check out IIW Mayhem in Manchester and see what all the hubbub is about, I promise you won't regret it..
Zeb Webb: Ditto to that but I'll leave you with a few choice words for our opponents. Pretty Technical? We don't know a whole helluva lot about you two sissy boys other than you are apparently pretty and technical. Something you two where more than proud to gush about repeatedly. It's like Mike Tyson said, everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face. Now don't go get your man panties in a twist Chris Morton and Ryan McCain. We're not coming into Mayhem to beat you with an ugly stick til' yer black and blue all over. We are simply planning on steamrolling over you and it'll take more than glitz and glamour to stop us. We'll see how pretty you look when we're done with the two of you. Now if you'll excuse us, we've got a red double stacker bus to catch..
[The Mechanics remove the headphones then shake hands with the host and staff before making their exit.]
Fade 2 black.

[Camera's begin rolling as Ryan McCann and Chris Norton of IIW's tag team Pretty Technical prepare to respond to The Mechanics' promo. Both men are dressed in matching sleek black and silver ring attire, exuding confidence and athleticism. They sit on stools in front of the IIW backdrop, ready to address their rivals.]
Ryan McCann: Well, well, well, if it isn't The Mechanics. Zeb "The Spider" Webb and "Taboo" Drew Donahue. We just witnessed your little promo, and while you two may think you're tough, blue-collar brawlers, let us remind you of something. We are Pretty Technical, the epitome of skill, finesse, and precision inside that squared circle.
Chris Norton: That's right, Ryan. The Mechanics may think they have some sort of advantage because they've turned a wrench or two in their lives, but let us enlighten you. We've spent years perfecting our craft, honing our technical skills, and mastering the art of professional wrestling. We're not just a gimmick; we're athletes who have dedicated ourselves to this business.
Ryan McCann: And as for your comments about us being "sissy boys," well, let's see how pretty you look when we dismantle you with our technical prowess. We don't need glitz and glamour because our in-ring ability speaks for itself. We'll show you that technical wrestling can be both beautiful and devastating.
Chris Norton: That's right, Ryan. The Mechanics may be strong, but strength alone won't save them when they're trapped in our submissions, twisted into knots, and forced to tap out. We're not just here to win; we're here to prove that technical wrestling is superior to brute force.
Ryan McCann: So, Zeb and Drew, you can bring your wrenches and your denim jeans. We'll bring our technical expertise and our unwavering determination. Mayhem in Manchester will be the stage where Pretty Technical rises to the top, and The Mechanics will learn the hard way that precision always overcomes brute strength.
Chris Norton: Prepare yourselves, gentlemen, because when we step into that ring, you'll witness a display of technical mastery like never before. The Mechanics will become nothing more than broken parts in need of repair, and we'll be the ones holding the tools.
[Ryan and Chris stand up from their stools, their eyes locked on the camera with unwavering focus and determination.]
Ryan McCann: Get ready, Manchester, because Pretty Technical is about to revolutionize the tag team division in IIW, and The Mechanics will be left in the dust.
Chris Norton: The countdown to your downfall has begun, Zeb and Drew. Tick-tock, tick-tock.
[The camera fades out as Pretty Technical continues to exude confidence and intensity.]
