Flashback
The scene opens up to six months ago at a local rugged bar in Austin Texas, only the most untrustworthy, violent, and unlawful characters come to this bar for a drink, to shoot pool, discuss unlawful business, or if you are like the James Gang you were looking for a fight and that's exactly what James Gang just got done doing after coming back into the bar after having a brawl with a few guys in the parking lot over a card game. Jesse laughs with The Gang as he pulls out some money and counts it up as they take a seat at a booth in the back of the bar.
Jesse James: I bet next time they won't play about our money.
Jesse takes a shot of whiskey as he counts his money up and then gives each member a cut.
Mike James: It's always good to do business with the James Gang.
Mike takes a shot of whiskey and then passes the bottle to Austin and Dallas but before they can get a shot they jump up and confront a tall man in a suit and cowboy hat, blocking his path to Jesse.
Robert Morgan: Well hot damn you boys sure can move but I promise I mean you no harm.
Robert flashes a Texas-size smile to The Gang as they continue to look him over.
Robert Morgan: Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Robert Morgan one of the biggest wrestling promoters and managers in the south and I got to say I like the way you boys handle business, especially you Jesse.
Robert tips his hat in Jesse direction as Jesse takes another shot of whiskey and then gives Austin and Dallas a look to let Robert come closer while Mike stays laser-focused on Roberts's body language.
Jesse James: I'm glad you like how we handle our business…. But what do you want with the James Gang? Need us to acquire something you aren't able to or maybe you need us to take someone out to the desert at night.
Jesse smirks and then gives a wink as he takes another shot, Robert laughs then gives a smirk back to Jesse.
Robert Morgan: Oh I do not require those types of services but I'll keep that in mind but I am offering my services to be a manager for you boys, maybe an advisor one could say in pro wrestling. You boys do a lot of fighting in bars and show how tough and scrappy you are but those traits are being wasted in places like this, I could mold you boys into some great pro wrestlers.
Robert smirks as Jesse sits back and rubs his chin as he considers the offer, he looks at the rest of The James Gang for a moment before turning his attention back to Robert.
Jesse James: Look The James Gang appreciates the offer and while we are fans of wrestling, we just enjoy a certain lifestyle that we don't think wrestling can bring us, so we will have to pass on that offer.
Robert doesn't say anything for a moment instead he walks to the bar to order a bottle of whiskey and a round for the James Gang, Robert puts the bottle on the table in front of Jesse while the waitress gives the rest of the James Gnag their shots.
Robert Morgan: Jesse can I have a moment of your time alone?
Jesse looks at the rest of the James Gang and gives them a look to let them know he would like them to leave the table for the moment, they nod their heads in understanding and walk over to the pool table while Robert takes a seat across from Jesse.
Robert Morgan: Listen Jesse I understand you are comfortable with how you and your Gang have been affording to live but let's be honest doing these unlawful things is just getting you by, you aren't really living the life you want but with my help, I can get you there.
Robert reaches into his coat pocket and pulls out a thick envelope and slides it over to Jesse who looks down at it and then back up at Morgan.
Robert Morgan: That's yours and The Gang, that just a sample of what I can do for you, Jesse. I'm not just talk I back up my talk and I am willing to invest in you and your Gand. I can see how hungry you and your Gang are to have that life you always wanted and I'm telling you now put your faith in me and pro wrestling, I'm telling you boy we can do something special together. You can go from being just a leader of a Gang and eventually end up in prison together or you can end up being a star in pro wrestling whos also the leader of one the greatest groups in pro wrestling history, thats what I am offering, so you can either stay on the path you are now or you can turn down the path with me and become something great! The choice is yours.
Jesse picks up the envelope and looks inside it and then looks back at Robert Morgan with a smirk and then reaches his hand across to shake his hand.
Jesse James: Mr. Morgan you got yourself a deal.
They both smirk as they shake on the deal.
Robert Morgan: You sure you don't need their approval?
Jesse looks at Morgan as if he's offended at the question.
Jesse James: Jesse doesn't have to run anything by nobody, they know any decision I make is best for us, they'll fall in line like they always do.
Robert Morgan: Understood, you enjoy the rest of your night I’ll send for you tomorrow to begin your training.
Robert tips his hat to Jesse and then walks away as he heads to exit out the bar, the rest of the James Gang returns back to the table and as they take a seat , Jesse pulls the money out the envelope and starts splitting it among them and then looks at them with a smirk.
Jesse James: Well gang it looks like we are going to be some pro wrestlers.
Mike smirks and so does Austin and Dallas as Mike pours everyone a shot.
Mike James: Well I can drink to that.
Jesse and The Gnag stand up and click their glasses together.
Jesse James: To the future of The James Gang.
They all take their shot as the scene fades out.
Location:The Morgan Ranch Date: 03/15/24
The sun shines brightly over The Morgan Ranch as a loud bell rings from inside the large three-floor house that sits on the property. The bell ringing sound comes from the meeting room of the house, Jesse sits at the head of the gang table while Robert continues to ring the bell until Mike James, Austin and Dallas Davis join them in the room and take their seats at the table where a cigar and shot of whiskey waits for them as Robert stands next to Jesse who takes a shot of whiskey and then a slow pull of his cigar and blows the smoke out slowly as he turns his attention to the gang.
Jesse James: The debut of The James Gang went off as plan , we gave IIW a sample of what’s to come and it came at the expense of the beloved heroes Curtis and Mike Fisher. Two main stays of IIW and we used them as our messengers to send to the locker room and that message is either you get in line with the new law of the land or you can get put down.
Jesse smirks and then takes a puff from his cigar as the rest of the gang nods their heads.
Jesse James: But now it’s time to get to work and build towards our goals by getting wins in a wrestling ring and that’s coming up as Austin and Dallas get to represent The Gang first in a match up against Andy Donahue and Chris "Trigger" Cavanagh of The Celtic Club, led by the last IIW World Heavyweight Champion John Cavanagh, isn’t that right Robert?
Jesse turns his attention to Robert and gives him a head nod to speak.
Robert Morgan: Yes gentlemen they are indeed led by a man with great Championship pedigree , John is a legend in this business and has proven himself over time, especially in IIW and even though Andy Donahue and Chris "Trigger" Cavanagh haven’t accomplished much as a Tag Team in IIW they are still going to be a trust test that we can not overlook.
Mike scoffs at the statement and let’s put a little laugh before speaking.
Mike James: Sorry for speaking out of turn Jesse but if these two ain’t accomplished anything IIW after all this time of being here then why should Austin and Dallas being taken them as a legit threat?
Robert Morgan shakes his head and paces for a moment before coming back to the table to look at Austin and Dallas.
Robert Morgan: Do not listen to what Mike said , because overlooking your opponent can be the biggest mistake you can make before you even step into the ring, thinking like that will have you defeated before the bell even rings. It never matters that they haven't done anything because they are a team that's been tagging together for a long time, they know how to adjust in a match and read each other at a much higher level then you two right at the beginning of your career.
Mike sits back in his chair and nods his head in understanding before taking a shot as Jesse leans in closer to Austin and Dallas.
Jesse James: You two listen to Robert and soak up all the advice and wisdom he can give you because failure is not an option, The James Gang will not start off as losers in the IIW and I have faith we won't because I know how much heart you two have.
Jesse pauses for a moment.
Jesse James: I know how much fight you boys have in you and I just know once that bell rings you're going to give The Celtic all they can handle and show the world just what The James Gang is all about but…. If you don't you'll have to come see me and you both know from experience what it's like to come see me, so you better handle your business on Mayhem.
Jesse sits back and takes a hit from his cigar as Austin looks at Dallas and then looks at Jesse for approval to speak and Jesse nods his head for him to go ahead.
Austin Davis: We've never been afraid of a fight and you know that Jesse and would all due respect even if The Celtic Club lucked up to beat us we aren't scared to come see, we have before when we first met but we follow you because we believe in The James Gang and we know how much faith you have in us and we aren't going to let our first match go to waste after the message we sent last Mayhem.
Dallas puts his hand on his brother's shoulder as he looks over in Jesse's direction.
Dallas Davis: Trigger and Andy might be everything that Robert says they are and I have no doubt those guys are tough being Irish and growing up in Hells Kitchen but what they are going to find out is that they ain't Texas tough and that their time has come and gone, it's a new era in IIW and it's The James Gang to lead.
Jesse smirks and then motions for Robert to pour the group shots of whiskey, once everyone has their shot glass, Jesse stands up and has everyone raise their glass in the air.
Jesse James: That's what I like to hear and come Monday Night Mayhem The James Gang are going to ride high and I can drink to that.
The James Gang take their shots together as the scene fades out.

The IIW faithful were greeted to the familiar sounds and visions of static on their Netflix feed before the image of a blonde haired, blue eyed Irishman came into focus. He stood silently, looking down towards the ground in his familiar haunt--The Blarney Stone Irish Pub & Grill in Hell's Kitchen, New York. It had been some time since "The One Man Dynasty" had been seen on an IIW television set and he had yet to be scheduled in any form of matchup in the promotion that he was, technically at least, the top dog in.
It was a kick, a simple kick. Amazing what such a minor strike can really do.
The reference was clear to those who had been longtime IIW viewers--to the newbies in the audience, well, Johnnie Cav was great at filling you in.
Wasn't that long ago that John fucking Cavanagh was standing in that ring in the fight of his life--a Last Man Standing Match for the IIW World Championship against J Mont. Not only did I finally humble that piece of shit, not only did I conclude the third season of IIW as the World Champion but I also managed to get fucked--and not in the good way! Some prick named Jay Vaughan decided it would be a good idea to kick me in my dick and run off with the World Championship like a spoiled little brat.
Jay Vaughan--a spoiled brat? One should never utter such thoughts out loud--unless you're the guy that was the heart and soul of the IIW for the last year and a half of its existence.
Let's not cry over spilled milk, I guess. I think it's a bit more important to remind everyone that even though Johnnie Cav ain't booked it doesn't mean that he ain't keeping eyes on his stopping grounds. I even went a bit further and decided to get my brother, Trigger, and Andy Donahue booked in a tag team match at this edition of Monday Night Mayhem against The James Gang. For those of you who may not remember or may be new to my home, see them two mutts over there?
The camera panned towards the bar area where a leaner, slightly younger blonde haired Irishman with shoulder hair length sat with a mountain of a man with his jet black hair spiked upwards--the mountain of a man easily fifteen years younger than both Cavanagh brothers.
The one with the long hair--that's Trig. Trig got that name back in the day in the neighborhood around here because he had a a bit of a short temper and let me fill you James Gang boys in on a little secret...he still got that same short temper. Make sure you're on the lookout because it won't take much to fall victim to Trigger. Plenty of people have thought because he's usually the smallest goon in the group that he's the one they can take out nice and easy but that couldn't be further from the truth. Anyone with the Cavanagh surname is going to be ready to throw hands at any given moment. That big bruiser next to him? That's the Heir Apparent. That's Andy Donahue, the guy who finds himself in the luckiest position in the history of professional wrestling. See, Andy Boy, gets the be under the wing and learn from both Cavanagh brothers. That's pretty much a guaranteed recipe for success. James Gang--good luck at Mayhem, y'all are gonna need.
The scene cuts to static.
