(The scene opens in a hotel room, where Leichenberg sits slumped on the edge of a neatly made bed, wearing a hotel robe over his wrestling trunks. His expression is one of profound dejection and disappointment, reflecting the emotional weight of recent events.)
(The television in the background emits the muffled sounds of a wrestling match, a constant reminder of the world Leichenberg feels distanced from at this moment. The commentary echoes as the match unfolds, each word a distant murmur in Leichenberg's ears.)
(Leichenberg's hands rest heavily on his knees, fingers loosely gripping the fabric of the robe. He seems lost in the swirl of emotions—frustration, regret, and a deep-seated longing to turn back time and rewrite the outcome of his recent title defense.)
(Leichenberg's gaze is fixed on nothing in particular, lost in thought as he stares at the floor. The room is quiet except for the faint hum of the air conditioning, amplifying the atmosphere of despondency.)
(Leichenberg's appearance reflects the toll of his recent loss and the subsequent sleepless, restless nights. His usually vibrant and energetic demeanor has been replaced by a haunted, exhausted look.)
(Physically, Leichenberg's face appears drawn and pallid, with dark circles under his eyes that portray his lack of sleep. The lines on his forehead and around his eyes are more pronounced, indicating stress and worry. His typically well-groomed hair is disheveled, as if he hasn't bothered with his usual meticulous appearance.)
(Leichenberg's body language speaks volumes about his inner turmoil. He carries himself with a slumped posture, shoulders slightly hunched, as if the weight of disappointment and defeat is physically bearing down on him. His movements lack their usual confidence and swagger, replaced instead by a sense of weariness and dejection.)
(A knock at the door startles Leichenberg out of his reverie. He slowly rises from the bed, the robe slipping off his shoulders as he moves to answer the door. Through the peephole, he sees the familiar face of Annaliese wearing a concerned look on her face.)
Annaliese: "Hello, Leichenberg. May I come in?"
(Leichenberg nods silently, opening the door to let his colleague enter. They exchange a knowing look, understanding the weight of the recent defeat that hangs heavy in the air.)
Annaliese: "Rough week, huh?”
(Leichenberg offers a faint, weary smile, acknowledging the shared sentiment. The two sit on the edge of the bed, the room now filled with an unspoken camaraderie.) Annaliese: "You gave it your all out there. Sometimes things don't go our way, but that's just part of the game."
(Leichenberg nods, his gaze returning to the floor.)
Leichenberg: "I know, but I can't shake this feeling. Losing the TV Title to a loud mouth porn star Jack Off after all the time and effort put in only to get bested cleanly by a self admitted chicken shit heel? It just doesn't set well with me."
(His colleague places a reassuring hand on his shoulder.)
Annaliese: "Hey, there's no point in beating yourself up over it. What matters is how you bounce back."
(Leichenberg's expression softens, a glimmer of hope flickering in his eyes.)
Leichenberg: "Perhaps you are right. What matters is what happens next but it's not myself that I blame, Annaliese. It's you.”
Annaliese: “Me? What did I do wrong? I wasn't even there.”
Leichenberg: “Exactly! Where were you? Why weren't you in my corner like we planned? We had a strategy and you were not there to implement it. You let me down Annaliese and I won't forget that.”
[Sighs] Annaliese: “fine. I will take responsibility. Blame me if that makes you feel better. Just so you know though, my phone was stolen so I couldn't call and the rental car had all four tires slashed. Someone obviously didn't want me there.”
(Leichenberg stares blankly at Annaliese, glancing at the Television showing a replay of Monday night Mayhem as he rubs his chin, deep in thought.)
Leichenberg: “Hmm. Interesting. Jack said he's here to burn this place down. That lowlife degenerate is certainly not above doing something like that.”
Annaliese: “So, what is our next plan of action?”
Leichenberg: “The wrestling world needs a reminder as to why I am the Ring Fuhrer, the German Juggernaut, the Ruthless Wonderkind, the Berlin Bully and simply put, the best pure wrestling traditionalist in our sport today. Unfortunately for TJ Alexander, it's coming at his expense but our first order of business is confronting a certain ring announcer who seems to have forgotten her place in the pecking order.”
(As the night wears on, Leichenberg finds solace in the companionship of his colleague, the echoes of the wrestling match on television fading into the background. Amidst the dim light of the hotel room, a sense of resilience begins to stir within Leichenberg. A determination to rise from defeat and forge ahead on his journey to become a champion once again in the IIW landscape of professional wrestling.)
(End Scene) ________________________ Part 2; Catering confrontation ________________________
(The camera pans the backstage catering area with wrestlers and crew members grabbing various food and drinks. In one corner, we see Alicia, the ring announcer, nervously picking at her food as Leichenberg and Annaliese approach, their expressions serious and determined.)
Leichenberg: "Well, well, well, if it isn't the suddenly opinionated ring announcer."
(Leichenberg's voice carries a menacing tone as Alicia looks up, startled by their sudden presence.)
Annaliese: "You had quite the potty mouth out there, Alicia. Do you always enjoy insulting people when they're not around to defend themselves?"
(Alicia shifts uncomfortably in her seat, trying to maintain composure.)
Alicia: "I-I was just doing my job. It's all part of the show, you know."
(Leichenberg leans in closer, his towering figure casting a shadow over Alicia.)
Leichenberg: "Let me make this clear, Alicia. We're not characters in your little show to make fun of and mock. Those insults you hurled at Annaliese have consequences."
(Annaliese steps forward, her eyes narrowed with a stern expression on her face.)
Annaliese: "You disrespected me, Alicia. Which means you disrespected us and our partnership. That's not something we take lightly."
Leichenberg: "Are you a female Ron Burgundy that has to say whatever you read? You think it's funny to disrespect someone like that? Maybe you need a little reminder of who you're dealing with and put you in your place.”
(Alicia's eyes dart around, searching for an exit, but Leichenberg blocks her path.)
Leichenberg: "Consider this a warning. If you ever dare to speak ill of us again, there will be serious repercussions." [Alicia swallows a nervous gulp, feeling the weight of their intimidation.] Alicia: "I-I understand. I'm sorry if I crossed a line."
(Annaliese's gaze softens slightly, but her tone remains firm.)
Annaliese: "Apologies won't erase what you said. Just remember, actions have consequences."
[Leichenberg steps back, allowing Alicia to gather herself, but the tension lingers thick in the air.]
Annaliese: “Perhaps it's time to take off the happy face of ‘good’ Leichenberg and show you his true, bad, ugly side."
{Alicia's eyes widen nervously as Leichenberg towers over her.)
Leichenberg: "If you ever utter another word against Annaliese or myself, you'll regret it. Verstanden?”
[Alicia stammers, nodding quickly as Leichenberg glares at her. Annaliese steps forward, her expression resolute.] Annaliese: "Good chat. Oh, there is one last thing.."
[Annaliese's hand snaps forward, delivering a sharp slap across Alicia's cheek who recoils in shock.)
[With that, Leichenberg and Annaliese turn and walk away with matching smirks on their face, leaving Alicia alone to reflect upon their words, with her appetite gone and her thoughts consumed by the encounter. The camera captures her worried expression after their ominous warning. The scene fades out as Alicia rubs her cheek, a mix of anger and humiliation evident on her face.)
______________________ Part 3; Phone promo ______________________
(Leichenberg sits in a quiet corner of an undisclosed location with his phone in hand, preparing to record a wrestling promo targeting his next opponent, TJ Alexander. His expression is focused, a hint of determination shining through as he visualizes the message he wants to convey.)
(With a deep breath, Leichenberg opens the camera app on his phone and begins recording. The backdrop behind him is intentionally blurred, drawing attention solely to his words.)
Leichenberg: "You see this look in my eyes? It's not just the hunger for victory—it's the pain of defeat. Losing that Television Championship tore at my core, but it's what happened before the match that's kept me awake at night."
Leichenberg: "I've tossed and turned, replaying every moment, every mistake. I have tasted the bitter sting of defeat in a match that in hindsight could have easily been avoided.”
Leichenberg: "Disappointment barely scratches the surface of the emotions I have been feeling since last Monday Night's Mayhem. My reign as Television Champion has been relegated to a fleeting shadow. Under normal circumstances, a former champion such as myself would be granted a championship rematch but instead I am required to compete for the number one contenders spot to the TV Title against TJ Alexander."
Leichenberg: "Some would see this as yet another obstacle to overcome. I view it as another stepping stone on my road to the top and if I must leave a path of destruction in my wake as a result? Then so be it. TJ, you just so happen to be the next man who is in the wrong place at the wrong time with a motivated wrestling machine who is ready to unleash my primal rage upon your pathetic high flying carcass.”
(He pauses briefly, letting the anticipation build.)
Leichenberg: "Prepare for a massacre little lamb because you are walking into the slaughterhouse and when I step into that ring, there's no mercy. No matter how much you beg and plead for it.”
(He concludes the promo with a signature gesture, a confident smirk and a determined nod.)
Leichenberg: "You are running on borrowed time and Monday Night on Mayhem? Your time's up and your luck runs out."
(With a final tap on his phone's screen, Leichenberg stops recording and sends the video to the production team to be uploaded onto the IIW website.)

Post by TJAlexander on Apr 20, 2024 17:06:00 GMT
(The scene opens up inside of a hotel room, we see TJ Alexander wearing a black tracksuit with a gold chain around his neck)
“It seems that people have already written me off, it seems they have a body bag ready, it seems they have the chalk ready in waiting for the chalk outline of my dead body after the match, but it also seems that people have forgotten what I am capable of, it seems people have forgotten exactly what I fight for, and I fight to be champion, right now I am on the verge of doing something that nobody has yet, and that’s knock down Leichenberg, chop him down to his knees so that his the same size and take the chance at becoming the new TV number one contender.”
(TJ scoffs)
“Leichenberg you my big friendly giant have been on a wrecking ball through the roster since you’ve debuted, you’ve been ever-so impressive, you’ve got the world at your palms and you will conquer the world but not right now, right now, you’re up against someone who you belittle already, that you look you nose down at meteorically and physically, but you need to realise what I can do, you need to realise that I am a student of the game and I have watched with my eyes peeled on every match you’ve been in, I would be a fool if I didn’t know how much of a dangerous man you are, but I am not a fool, I see what you can do, but I do my research, I do my research so when I am in the ring with you, I can exploit you.”
(TJ grins)
“It shows that when you was champion, you had a reign that was feared, for a short time anyway, for a short time you felt how good it is being champion, that feeling I want back, that feeling of gold I want on my fingertips and in my palms., that is why I fight, and that is why I am gonna give you a fight, it’s not gonna be as easy as you think, I am not an easy target, I’m a faster, I’m an agile and I have speed, all of which you will feel the effects of this week on Mayhem, this week on Mayhem, you Leichenberg losing the TV title shouldn’t set with you, especially to some reject from the porn industry, but then again I shouldn’t have lost to him either, so were both in the same situation, but that is the only thing that we have in common because everything else were completely different.”
(TJ pauses)
“Two very different people from opposite’s ends of the spectrum, are going to battle inside the ring, you Leichenberg are the favourite, but I am the underdog, I have always been the underdog, and I am going over the finish line and do something that everyone believes that I cannot do, and that’s beating you bruv, losing the TV title isn’t going to be keeping you up at night, losing to me is too. Losing to me is gonna give you nightmares that you’ve never experienced.”
(TJ smiles)
“Those nightmares are gonna fester and burrow themselves deep in and I’m gonna live rent free in your head from Monday Night, from Monday Night Mayhem my hunger will surpass yours, my hunger is gonna eclipse your size and strength and it’s gonna power me through. You say I’m on borrowed time, bruv I’ve been on borrowed time since the minute I got to IIW.”
(TJ laughs)
“Everyone written me off the minute a brit stepped foot into this locker-room, they said I wouldn’t last three months, my own family and friends said I wouldn’t last three months across the pond and onto American soil, but I did, and I have, and I am, more than just three months, it’s been almost five years now, and I have built a reputation and a list of accolades, that list is gonna once again add the IIW TV title and I will become a three-time champ, but first I’m going through you, I know your standing there laughing at that statement, but I’m beaten and knocked out bigger.”
(TJ grins)
“And I am stealing time each and every time I step into the ring because of doubters, I am driving myself through every obstacle and beating those obstacles to prove those doubters wrong, and you’re now one of those doubters, I will overcome and more disappointment will before on you. More resent of yourself that you are descending and not ascending will creep into your head, blaming everyone else but really it’s your own downfall.”
(TJ smiles)
“While I ascend back up top, back fighting for gold, and back proving people wrong, maybe I need to go back to the drawing board and go back to being just me, just me is a winner, and this win I am gonna get.”
(TJ pauses)
“So Leichenberg bring everything you can, you ask me to bring my “A” game, well I always do, but when you bring your “A” Game too, then you’ve got no excuses to blame anyone but yourself when I beat you, and take that opportunity.”
(Scene ends)
