"Vafanculo!" the sharp, raspy voice of Paulie Spinella barked out to passing traffic on a Brooklyn street. The made guy was walking around his Bensonhurst neighborhood in the most Italian-American outfit ever seen--a black, crushed velour tracksuit with a white tanktop slightly visibly and an gold necklace with the Italian bull horn symbol. Paulie shakes his head as the cab driver shouts back something inaudible.
"Yeah?! Turn back and say that you fanook!", Paulie shook his head from side to side before lighting up a cigarette. "I tell youse, I ain't getting the respect I deserve 'round here and 'round the IIW. Matter of fact, this entire sitch is givin' me a little bit of the agita!" Paulie continued to take drags from his cigarette.
"Ain't it funny that I don't win the International Title and this testa de cazzo, Osh Vaughan, goes ahead and doesn't put La Borgata on the next Mayhem? The balls of this guy! I tell ya, if he was a paisan like me, he'd understand the disrespect that he showed and if there's one thing that La Borgata don't want--it's disrespect!" Paulie took another drag from his cigarette before flicking it into the street.
"The funniest part of it all? Osh knew damn well that he had to make it right so he's gonna have me slap around this little mutt, Maverick Tatum, at the next Mayhem. I gotta show the rest of this place how we get down in this Thing of Ours. How we handle business and ya know what? It's all gonna start with that cavolo Maverick Tatum! This guy might be a real leccaculo, an asskisser, but it ain't worked out. Guy wanted Crush's title and Crush still got that thing so, needless to say, Maverick ain't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed! No biggie though, No Nose gonna take care of that mutt at Mayhem...fugghedaboutit!"

"Hm?" he mused as he looked up. "Yeah it's not the best place but.." His hand carefully glided across the paper as his thoughts were triyng to come out because that was what his therapist had told him he needed. Get it out no matter how you did it, that did not matter the only thing that mattered was making sure that it was understood. "Upcoming match," still trying to not pander to his thoughts he let out a sigh. Time and time again it was becoming more important for him to really stick the landing when it came to his IIW career this still something he knew even if it were not something he had quite a feel on. He figured in time and with thoughts it was going to come.
"Fresh air," he said speaking up so his voice could be heard because while he wrote he also wanted to keep his thoughts together on tape. It was not that he felt them slipping no he used them as a key of sorts to know what worked and what did not. Still with the fresh air he was going to do the best he could and now as the air hit his face, he wondered. Paulie Spinelli sounded, well a lot of things but Maverick was not so focused on the name but the man of which he would be stepping into the ring with. The more things would seem to have changed the more it seemed that they remained the same but he was not worrying with that.
"Mr. Spinelli," he did addressing people with a mister or miss in front because at the end of the day it made them feel important and no one was really that much more important than anyone else but for the sake of keeping it even. "Powers that are beyond me know that I have seen some trash in my life but one look at you and it simply takes the cake." He knew that was harsh but the truth often was and anyone with a brain knew that as well. "Don't take that as an insult, because people and this includes myself can and should do better and after our match, you will know this to be true."
He knew that people could say the same about him especially ever since coming back but he hoped that this match right here would finish knocking what little ring rust he felt like he still had on left.
