The camera flickers on as the scene cuts open to the locker room of Ryan Hawkins and Chris Nitro. They hold each other up as they walk in with Chris Hawkins behind them with a grin on his face that you can see from a mile away. Ryan helps Nitro to a seat as Chris Hawkins passes them some Cuban cigars, and fires them up to celebrate.
Chris Hawkins: Now God damn it, that is what I am talking about. The B.U.M. Squad called you boys out, and you delivered and sent them back to the gutter where they belong and not to brag about myself, but I did move on to the next round of the International tournament, but enough about me. This nights about you two. After tonight, all you boys have to do is put on another performance like that, and you'll be the IIW Tag Team Champions!
Nitro takes a few puffs from his cigar before turning towards the camera.
Nitro: You know I got to say when we brought this tag team together after our loss to Rogue at KKnD, I had my doubts about this working. Sure I respected you, Ryan, as a man and a warrior, but I wasn't sure if we can work together well enough to make it where we are now.
Ryan: Same here; this partnership has to turn out better than expected, and I can't wait to find out who we face in the finals so we can go ahead and prepare. Either tag team we draw is going to be a battle.
Just then, Chris Hawkins phones vibrate and pulls out his iPhone, and gets an alert from the Hollywood Reporter.
Chris Hawkins: Looks like you just got your wish, and we got a lot of work to do. Shaun just announced who you'll be facing in the finals.
Ryan: Who we got?
Both Nitro and Ryan wait eagerly for Chris's answer.
Chris Hawkins: Bob Mitchell's team Blade Alexander and Commander the undefeated tag team.
Ryan lifts his head and pulls his cigar, and looks at nitro.
Ryan: Well, things just got interesting.
Nitro: I say are you going to be able to stay focused knowing you'll be on teams with them at Worlds Collide?
Ryan: Worlds Collide is weeks away. I'll handle my business alongside them then when we go to war against The Regulation, but beforehand I must now fight alongside you in order to beat two of the hardest man on this planet on Blade and Commander.
Chris Hawkins snaps his fingers
Chris Hawkins: Enough with all that, I'll address this matter tomorrow from my Oval office. Once I speak on the subject, Bob will see this as a match among respected men, but until then, let's celebrate.
Chris Hawkins claps his hands as three beautiful women wearing bikinis walk in with champagne bottles in hand. The scene fades as Chris Hawkins pushes the camera crew out.
A few days later, the scene opens to the Hawkins Family residents in Manchester, the home modeled after the White House. The camera crew walks up the stairs where Chris Hawkins remains standing why Ryan Hawkins sits in the chair beside a desk, the room resembling the oval office the president sits in.
Ryan: Good afternoon, everyone that's joined in to watch. This video directly for out to Bob Mitchell, Blade Alexander, and Commander. I want to start by saying I respect you, gentleman; my partner and I appreciate you. You guys are the cream of the top on this business.
Not many men can walk around claiming to be undefeated with an impressive resume to back it up. That's why I didn't mind joining you guys for Worlds Collide; it just the cards have fallen for us to go to war against each other for the tag team titles.
Now I know Chris Nitro and I, are heading in as the Underdogs, and I know you two have never even sniffed a loss, but you also never had to face a tag team so dangerous and unpredictable like us.
How will you react when we don't go down quickly, and we keep getting back up asking for more...
Chris Hawkins steps up and whispers in Ryan's ear. As Ryan nods and sits back, Chris Hawkins turns the camera to him.
Chris Hawkins: Bob, you've done a hell of a job with Blade and Commander; hell, outside of the World Champion Jake, they just might be the two best on the damn roster, and those are just facts. Commander a beast that cannot be held down, and Blade Alexander one of the most gifted superstars in our time, and you got all that on one team.
But the team across you won't be intimidated by that these guys are tough as they come you hit them hard they hit back harder, you knock them down their both getting back up, so believe me when I say this will be a war among respected men but it's a war Purge plans to win. Then after it's over, we can all sit around a table, smoke some cigars, and plan how we're going to kick The Regulations ass at Worlds Collide...
Ryan pulls the camera back towards him.
Ryan: Until then, I want you guys to get in the gym, get in the best shape of your life, bring your undefeated streak and bring all your anger and frustration because I want the very best tag team in IIW history. I like your dreams of reclaiming the tag team titles you never loss. Come Mayhem Purge will shock the world when we knock off you guys for the IIW Tag Team Titles. Get ready; Blade and Commander bodies are about the drop, and Dreams are going to shatter!
Chris Hawkins turns off the camera as the scene comes to an end.

Post by Chris 'Monday Night' Nitro on Apr 5, 2021 20:38:19 GMT
The scene opens to Chris Nitro in a rage room. He is inside of a room filled with old furniture, vases, tables, chairs and Tvs. He is holding a sledgehammer.
NITRO - I know this may seem like a weird way to celebrate a victory but it's how I do. There is nothing better than coming in here and just smashing shit for a hour. It works wonders for the soul. Hawk and I did exactly what we said we where going to do last night. We took out The Bums. They wanted to escalate things and make it hardcore so that's what we did. Big mistake calling our bluff. They called us out and we answered. Look how well that worked out for them. Got to say we had a really good time taking it to those losers. We worked well as a team and took home the win like we said we would. A great night all around for the Purge.
Nitro pulls down his goggles and lifts the sledgehammer above his head and drives it through an old dresser. Pieces of wood are sent flying everywhere.
NITRO - HELL YEAH nothing gets the blood flowing like smashing everything in sight. So we got the call for the next match already. No rest for the Purge I guess but we are very OK with that. No way we could claim to be the best tag team around if we don't fight on every show. That's what we plan to do wrestle on every single show and build our brand as an asskicking duo. Hawk was right I definitely didn't know how well we would work together but it all came together so much better than I ever expected it to. Now it's also hot shotted right to a title match. Thought we would have had a few more warm up matches before the title match but let's fucking go we are ready. It's time for us to stake our claims at the top of the tag team division. We knew we would get to the the title match eventually its just happening far sooner than expected. Personally I would have waited for a ppv for a title match but hey I'm not the booker.
Nitro swings the sledgehammer and smashes a 42 inch flat screen TV causing glass to explode all over. He wipes some off his shoulder.
NITRO - Blade Alexander and Commander, admittedly I knew nothing about you. I am relatively new to IIW and we have never crossed paths before. That's not saying I haven't done a fair bit of research on you. I found out you where the Tag Team champions when IIW closed up shop a few years ago. So technically you are still the champions by my math. Well maybe not actually becasue the titles would have been vacated when the fed closed. That doesn't change the fact that you never lost the titles years ago. I also saw you weren't to happy about being thrown into a tournament for the titles you feel are rightfully yours. I can completely understand that guys. I would be kinda pissed the titles weren't just handed back to me seeing as I never lost them as well.
Nitro picks up a vase and throws it at a framed picture of a bowl of fruit.
NITRO - I also realized that you 2 are undefeated here so far. That's really awesome and good for you guys. That's a huge feat and we both understand that. Being the first ones to beat you would be pretty amazing to be honest. Would be a nice accomplishment along with winning the tag titles. Something else to help us say that we are the best in IIW. As a team Hawkins and I are also undefeated. Granted it's only been one match but still you have to start somewhere right. Don't think by me coming on here and being very complementary of you takes away from what I'm planning on doing to you in the ring next Mayhem. I absolutely respect your talent and history here in IIW that's for sure but I still want those God damn titles. Hawkins and I are working really hard to make ourselves one of the best tag teams in IIW and the only way we can do that is to beat you guys and claim the titles for our own. Make ourselves the new first ever IIW tag team champions. That will look really good on our resumes. I can also promise that thus far you have never faced a tag team quite like us. We are willing to do whatever it takes to get those tag titles.
Nitro drops the sledgehammer and picks up a wooden kitchen chair and swings it at the wall completely destroying the chair. He throws the pieces he is holding onto the ground.
NITRO - Balde, Commander I could come out here and claim you guys suck. I could go on and on about how much better we are as a tag team than you are. I could tell the world there is no way in hell you can beat us as we are the greatest tag team to ever walk this planet. I could absolutely say all that shit but I'm not going to. We don't know any of that to be true yet and becasue I do respect the in ring ability you guys clearly possess. I completely understand this will not be an easily won battle for Hawk and myself. I know we will have to fight harder than we have ever fought to beat you guys. We are both very excited to have to dig deep and floor it in the ring to beat you. We know how good you are BUTTTTT we know we can beat you. We watched your match last night against Rev X and let's be honest that's not a win you should be proud of. Trust me we aren't bragging to much about beating the bum squad we know exactly what that win is.
Nitro grabs the sledgehammer once again and holds it high above his head and brings it down full force onto a table of fine China. The table explodes and peices of wood and the fine China rains down looking like a blizzard.
NITRO - Hawkins was right guys. Hit the gym and train. Train hard because we want you at your absolute best in that ring. Not that I think you would ever show up and not give it your all. We know just how good you guys are and we want to test ourselves as a team. We want to beat you at your best because that makes us the best tag team. Damn I just said best a whole bunch of times but it's what we are striving to be at the end of the day. We are preparing to go to battle next week at Meyham. We know exactly what we have to do to beat you guys. We have a game plan going into this match. If we stick to our plan and stand united in the ring we can beat you and we know that.
Nitro grabs the sledgehammer and removes his goggles and walks out of the rage room he heads to the front desk.
Attendant - How was it Chris?
NITRO - Invigorating as always man. Such a rush and a hell of a lot of fun. Full on stress release ha ha.
Attendant - Awesome. Same time next week I would assume?
NITRO - You know it man. Would never miss my weekly rage room session. Pure therapy for the soul I tell you.
Attendant - Great we will see you next week Chris. Have a good one.
NITRO - Take it easy man and stay safe.
Nitro walks out of the building and walks over to his jeep. He pops the truck and grabs a water. Takes a huge sip and places the water on the bumper.
NITRO - Commander, Blade we know you're undefeated and we know how good you are. Yeah thats all true but we aren't scared of you at all. If anything that fuels us to be at our absolute best in that ring. We are a new tag team, and we are both mainly hardcore wrestlers but that doesn't mean we are less than in any way. Ryan and I have beaten the unholy hell out of eachother many times in the past. We forged our alliance in fire guys. We went to war and built a friendship. You don't ever know a person untill you fight them and we did just that. This is more than just us being bored and forming a team to try and win the titles. We are legitimate team and we have become a well oiled machine over the last few weeks. Granted we have only had one match on TV as a team but we have been training nonstop for this moment. We had our sights set on you from the second we formed this team. There is only one team that can claim to be the best when the dust settles next week and that team will be the Purge.
Nitro closes the truck and walks to the driver side door of his jeep. He opens the door and puts his water in the cup holder.
NITRO - I'm fully aware Ryan is working with you guys and Bob come Worlds Collide. We had the long chat about that and Hawk assured be that he is 100% a team player and world's collide is weeks after this match. We are a tag team and I trust Hawk with my life. He has given me no reason to question him so I won't. We are working together as a team to earn those titles and call ourselves champions. The outcome of this match could do many things. It could make us champions, it could build our team standing to the highest point in the IIW but that's my gain here. Balde, Commander you get to tie up with someone on team Bob and test them out and see what they are made of. There is no better way to find out what a man is made of than to fight them as we have both already stated. I'm definitely the odd man out in that ring. I'm not Team Bob at all, I wasn't asked or really want to be. All I care about it becoming the world tag team champions come Mayham.
Nitro jumps into his jeep and slams the door. He starts the jeep and rolls the window down.
NITRO - One last thing boys. I want your biggest take away from all of this to be that we are fucking excited at the thought of facing one of the best tag teams in the world today. We know we up to the challenge and can't wait to test ourselves against you. We are new comers here in IIW going against to long time vets. The old dogs vs the new dogs and we relish the opportunity we have been given here. We know we got the talent to stand toe to toe with you guys and can't wait to do so. Please come to Mayhem ready for us becsaue we are giving it 100%. We want those titles in a big bad way and will stop at nothing to get them. We don't care who is in our way but we are glad it's the "former champs" because it immediately makes us the best no question. Come ready because we are boys. We aren't Revolution X and won't be a walk in the park that's for damn sure.
Nitro slams the jeep into drive and peels out of the parking lot at the scene fades to black.

Wednesday, April 7. The office of Bob Mitchell.
It's a rather big office when you get a good look at it. There's a burgundy couch large enough to fit The Commander while Melissa Mitchell sits in the chair in front of the desk. Blade Alexander, still banged up, leans against the wall to the left of the desk scrolling on his phone, while Bob himself, lime green suit and all, sits back in his large office chair. Bob Mitchell: Well I'd be lying if I said we didn't have ourselves a nice little situation here. I'll tell you what, thanks to you coming to stand by us at KKND, and that you're willing to stand by us at World's Collide, we're not going to rough you up too much Ryan Hawkins. That doesn't by any stretch mean that we're going to take it easy on you. If you're going to join the team at World's Collide we're going to have to give you a good going over and put you through the paces to make sure you fit the grade.
Mind you, beating The Commander and Blade Alexander for the World Tag Team Titles would be an impressive feat and prove you belong on the team, but the odds of that happening are rather low. Sure you and Chris Nitro are riding high and ready to take on the world from your big win at Mayhem, but let's break down what's really going on here shall we?
And Chris Nitro, you pay attention to this too because it very heavily involves you.
Bob takes a moment to sit up in his chair, leaning forward putting his elbows on the desk. Bob Mitchell: So you guys are riding pretty high huh? And why not, you came together out of mutual respect and you beat a team that's been together forever in the BUM Squad. You beat them at their own game at that, in a Hardcore match. That's pretty impressive for a first match.
But then again, you weren't really out of your element were you? You jumped right in there into a match the BUMs wanted to make hardcore, and you were more than willing because, lets face it, you guys are hardcore guys at heart. If nothing else that proves you two are tough as nails and worthy competition to face, but does it make you worthy Tag Team Championship contenders?
You came together as a team because you failed individually at the thing you're supposed to be good at. You're both supposed to be hardcore guys, and for you Chris Nitro, you're so “hardcore” you beat up inanimate objects in your free time, what a badass you must be. But you both failed. You each had a short at the literal bottom rung of IIW championships and you both fell short to a guy who had such burning passion to be the Hardcore Champion that he threw the title away literally the same minute he won it. Well done boys.
He sits up straight, adjusting the papers on his desk. Bob Mitchell: So boys, where to from there? Well you decide to throw in together and go after the Tag Team Championships, because you know, two things that have failing to reach their goals individually have, historically, done really great when combining efforts.
He smirks. Bob Mitchell: But seriously boys, all credit to you, you did beat down actual bums in the match type you're supposed to be good at. So now the two of you are riding this high thinking you've got a chance after showing a pair of guys who are each more than twice your ages and have, I doubt, ever won a match in IIW a thing or two about a hardcore brawl. But... You guy get that your next match is against the REAL Tag Team Champions right? And it's for the Tag Team Titles right? You've had exactly one match as a team, and it could hardly be called a tag match at all and you beat a team with zero credibility.
I know you're riding high from your first win as a team, but there's still a long time to go for that adrenaline rush to wear off and some reality about the situation to seep in. See these boys right here with me have never been beaten as a team. These boys already ARE the World Tag Team Champions, I know it, you know it, Netflix knows it. The only reason they were put in this tournament in the first place was Netflix wanted the ratings of having them on the show. While you're riding high on your one little win, you're going from the frying pan into the fire. You won yourself a match, but you got skipped right to the finals thanks to us.
See while you were busy having a little row with the BUM Squad showing us all how much the two of you know about tag team wrestling, we were busy eliminating not one, not two, but THREE teams all at once.
Oh I know, you're saying to yourselves, but Bob, we all saw your guys beat Rev X and send them packing. Rev X a team with an actual legitimate champion on their side in Anthony Phoenix I might add, but we still beat them. Not only that but take a good hard look at it, what happened to Kevin Deane? Where's that girl gone to? We didn't just beat a tag team, we destroyed their whole group in one go.
But it didn't top there. The James Gang tried to walk around here and get ahead perpetrating crimes and misdemeanours on ME like I was some pushover. Well no one pulls a fast one on The Establishment and lives to brag about it, and now those criminals are exactly where they belong. Then there's the guy everybody's been talking about, Adam the Monster. The one man wrecking machine. Except that he's SUCH a badass when it came to the prospect of stepping into the ring with The Commander and Blade Alexander he turned tail and thought his chances in the Hollywood Battle Royal were better off than facing these two men for the Tag Team Titles.
So at least you've got more courage than a monster, I'll give you that.
He takes a deep breath then continues.
Bob Mitchell: So I want both of you to think long and hard about that. You want these men here to be prepared? We're always prepared. Since IIW has reopened we've been stolen from, attacked from behind, attacked from the front, attacked from underneath you name it. All in the name of trying to take the Tag Team Titles away. You consider that, you're trying to get your legs under you and you think you're on top of the world all because you've won yourselves one match in IIW and you're feeling great, but everyone including Osh Vaughn has been coming at these two men from every angle to try and pry away the titles because no one has been able to get it done in the ring. This isn't their first go around, there's no pairing in the ring that can beat The Establishment including you two.
That's why we're The Establishment in the first place. We didn't need to steal out name from some shitty horror movies, we made it week in and week out. You want to go against the World Tag Team Champions and think you stand that great of a chance when you haven't even had an actual tag match yet. You're reaching for the sky and I respect that, but the fall is a lot further than you think. You're fighting for some respect and recognition and those are things you just might win, but the Tag Team titles aren't. You're in the hunt for the titles, but we're looking to get our belts back. You take a good look at everything that's been thrown at us just to try to get the physical Tag Team Titles back and ask yourselves if you have all that deep down. Do you think we think you have it? You lost the hardcore title to a guy who didn't give a shit, you beat up a pair of homeless senior citizens and you needed weapons to do it, now you want to step in the ring with us in a match doing what we do best? I wish you both all the luck in the world, you're going to need it, and then some.
Fade.

The Office of Bob Mitchell, Sunday afternoon.
The usual hustle and bustle of a prime office inside of IIW isn't present. Instead of the whole group known as the Establishment, only The Commander sits at Bob Mitchell's desk. The Commander: Everyone says their piece. Most people talk too much. Sooner or later it all begins to sound like a bunch of noise. So many piss ants running around shouting their little problems at the top of their lungs thinking they're this or that. Not today. Today is my time. It's time the whole lot of you sit back, close your mouths for once, and listen to The Commander tell his side.
See, ever since IIW reopened a lot of people have been running their mouths saying a lot of things about me and the company I keep, but not a single one of you has got a fucking clue, so let me clue you in.
The Commander sits up in the giant leather chair, and straightens the garnet tie he's chosen. In this case it matches his suit jacket. The Commander: So this tale originates back a quite a few years ago now. I've been IIW since day one. Not 2021 day one, but way back in the early 2000's. I wasn't in the best situation back then. I had done time in the military, but when I was finished they cast me aside. I grew up in London. England was all I knew but I joined the military to protect my home and my friends, and what did I get to show for it? When I got home my friends moved on. They kept going here like everything was tea and biscuits while I had a bullet taken out of my shoulder in the desert. When I got out of the army my “friends” would say hey but they wrote me off. Whatever. So the army cut me lose because I served my purpose and I asked what was I supposed to do now? The fucking guy doing my papers told me to get a job at ASDA bagging groceries.
I got canned from that job for sitting in some Karen's face after she yelled at me about eggs. I served my country proudly and this was my thanks. I'm good enough to kill someone in a country far away and get shot, but I couldn't be trusted to not pack juice on top of eggs, oh fucking kay.
He takes a moment to loosen his tie. The Commander: What's a guy to do? I used the only tools I had. I took on all comers and I fought for money. Bare-knuckled, taped fist, I didn't care. Lots of people around England willing to get punched in the face and hand me a tenner after. But that didn't pay the bills.
After beating the tar out of some office blowhard here in Manchester some kid approached me, was promoting wrestling and he said if I come fight on his TV he'd pay me more than I was making. I doubted him and part of me still thinks I should have laughed in his face and walked away. The money was good, but only for a couple months, then it started dropping off. Other guys were coming along who the boss called “big names” and it was cutting into my money. I was trouble keeping bills paid and before too long, I couldn't cover my car and it got taken. I couldn't cover my rent and I was out of a place to live, and I couldn't buy a decent meal.
I took all this to Osh and his big idea was to let me sleep in a broom closet in the building and eat anything left behind by fans after the show. I was on TV every week but couldn't afford somewhere to live!
The Commander takes a moment again to calm himself and collect his thoughts. He takes off his jacket exposing his black dress shirt and reaches behind him to let the jacket rest on the back of the chair. The Commander: I'm getting a little hot here, but we're just starting.
You see here I was people thinking I'm someone cause I'm on TV and I had to find a mop to have a pillow at night. There was a brief ray of sunlight though. The place closed. I was homeless for the first time in my life, and I went back to what I knew. Fighting. I couldn't get in here but one of my old buddies knew a guy, so we went over to France and found ourselves members of the French Foreign Legion. I didn't care anything for France, I never been there in my life before that. But I had a job I was good at and I was making money and it was good for a bit.
But there came a time when I had enough of killing and blood and death and I got a call. That kid was doing the wrestling thing again and wanted me back on the show, so making the worst decision of my life, I left France and went back to wrestling. It was worse than ever. That fucking Osh didn't attempt to pay me, he just set me up with some woman to bleed me dry of the money I had saved with the FFL. To this day I'm not totally sure thanks to all the drugs that she was into, but when they were talking about Osh's wife those pictures going around looked awful familiar.
So then he closed it all down again, and I spent 5 long years in the gutter. I slept behind the building, I slept in the ditch at the far side of the parking lot. I slept on cardboard and under newspapers. I starved and I ate spoiled food, and I was angrier than I ever was in my life. Funny thing about that time though, when you're broken in the gutter looking up kind of hoping you wont wake up the next day, you kind of end up kicking some of those habits that get pushed on you by the wrong people. At least there's that.
He undoes his tie. The Commander: Then as it does the thing opened again and I just wandered into the building. I wasn't asked back, I just walked in. They didn't bother trying to stop me, everyone was just used to me being there. Sometimes they booked me like they always did, and I knew I wasn't gonna get paid anyway, so I just went back scavenging for food like before.
But then something changed. One day when I was trying to pull half eaten food out from under the seats some chubby American walks up to me and asks what I'm up to. I tell him and he's wondering why I'm homeless and eating garbage. I don't offer the guy a thing and he lets me live in his flat in an empty bedroom. He's keeping his fridge full and letting me eat proper food again. I didn't ask for a handout, I didn't offer him a thing, but Bob Mitchell took me in off the street anyway. Next time I had a fight he made sure I got paid. Time after that he stood in my corner and I actually won, and I got paid on top of it.
I was scum eating garbage from an ungrateful prick for over a decade and then this guy comes in and helps me out through no benefit to himself, from then on there was no way he wasn't going to be in my corner. Bob Mitchell picked me up at my lowest, and when I started winning again, he got me title shots. Thanks to Bob Mitchell I had a shot at the Tag Team Titles and I WON. Thanks to Bob Mitchell I had a shot at the International Title and I WON. I won because he gave me back confidence, he gave me back dignity, and he gave me back humanity. I felt like a person again. I had a life again.
And then it happened.
He takes his tie off completely and folds it nicely setting it on the table. The Commander: You take a good look. Look at me now, The nice clothes I wear, the bag that aren't under my eyes, I'm not hungry, I'm whole again and that's thanks to Bob Mitchell. When IIW closed yet again that could have all gone away, but he kept a roof over my head. I helped look after his affairs. I had money and I invested. He got me work in TV and a few movies. I opened a gym to teach kids in London MMA. I had a life because someone gave it back to me. It wasn't Osh Vaughn, that man only ever took.
So now here we are again. Take a good look at what's happened people. Osh makes up his own rules and steals MY International Title! A title I had to work hard and pull myself out of the gutter to win! He steals MY Tag Team Title, and now I'm just supposed to back off? I'm supposed to let 2 kids win just because they're new? Just because they want to prove themselves? The two of you look me in the eyes and get a good look at what you're in for. You had a few fights against each other and you think you know each other.
Hawkins you think you've got a chance because you stood by Blade and I at KKND, but that doesn't mean anything to me when you're trying to take something I hard to work so long for. Hawkins you're not ready to take the Tag Team Titles. You want them so bad but you're splitting your time worrying about that Hollywood title.
And Nitro you're no better. You should be saving yourself for the challenge of a lifetime in the ring at Mayhem. You have the balls to tell Blade and I to hit the gym so we can be at our best, but there you are cutting yourself to shreds chasing after the Hardcore title. I had to drag myself through actual living hell and come out breathing on the other side just to get a chance at the Tag Team Titles, if you think there's any force that's just going to get me to give that away for any less then you're kidding yourselves.
In 2017 those Tag Team Titles were my salvation. They pulled me out of the actual gutter and gave me a life worth living again. That's what you 2 just don't get. You think it's all about winning championships and the prestige you're gonna get and the bragging rights of being the best tag team in the world, uh uh. Blade and Bob and I aren't just some tag team competing to be the best, we're family. When everyone else cast me out and left me to die behind this very building they were the ones that came along and picked me back up. They let me prove myself again. They gave me the chance to redeem what I had been and what I became.
If you think for a SECOND I'm going to let 2 guys just walk in here and help Osh Vaughn steal something else away from my family after he's taken everything he has from me, then just know this boys. Come ready. I was made a monster and I took the lives from people I didn't know to protect the ungrateful friends and countrymen I once had. If I'm willing to kill for that, just what depths do you think I'm going to go to in order to protect my REAL family. Blade and Bob are my family and I'll certainly kill the two of you who don't mean anything to me to protect them, and I'll be dead long before I let anyone take the Tag Team Titles away from us.

The Camera flickers on as the scene cuts open to Hawkins Family White House. Inside we see both Hawkins brothers and Chris Nitro sitting down in what Chris Hawkins calls the Situation room. They sit at a long black table with a huge flat screen monitor attached to the back wall. Chris Hawkins sits at the head of the table as Ryan and Nitro sit to the side.
Chris Hawkins turns on the monitor, and a picture of Bob Mitchell pops up.
Chris Hawkins: Good afternoon, great citizens of IIW. I have gone live here to debate good ole Bob Mitchells points he made earlier this week. Bob Mitchell stated some true things, he also tried to take credit for things his organization has no claim to, and some half-truths were told.
I am here to help my brother Ryan and his partner Chris Nitro get the whole truth out there because simply a smear campaign was led by Bob, and that is the truth.
So let us speak on their failure to beat Rogue and capture the Hardcore Championship. Yes, Rogue bested them in their type of match but let us be clear here Rogue is an exceptional talent who has still yet to see defeat. He also could walk out as TV Champion, so I say losing to a guy Rogue is not this considerable embarrassment you tried to make it out to be.
Chris Hawkins grabs a cup of water and takes a sip. Then places it back down.
Chris Hawkins: You see, losing did not break them like it would most men. I am sure Rogue had thought his mind games had work and that he left them unsure of themselves but what he did was make them stronger because any man that can walk away with a loss and accept it and grow from it is a high character man. And that is who these two are; they came together and put aside their differences for a common goal to be Champions, and now we find ourselves here with an opportunity of a lifetime not only to win the IIW Tag Team Champions, oh no, there is more on the line the chance for Purge to be the first team to shatter that undefeated streak as well. I say the pressure is mounting for your team Bob; you guys have everything to lose, why Purge has everything to gain!
Chris Hawkins picks up the remote and. Switches it to the B.U.M. Squad
Chris Hawkins: Now you also questioned the legitimacy of their win against the B.U.M Squad. You made some fair points; they are bums that live on the street and are up there in age. However, they still are a tag them that has been together far longer than that of Ryan and Nitro, and not to mention they called Purge out for a hardcore match. We we're find with it being a regular tag team match do not mistake Purge for brain dead idiots that only know how to crash their bodies into people and resort to using weapons because regardless of the match type these two men can go inside those ropes and best anyone on this roster on any given Monday Night!
If you want to underestimate them because of their lack of longevity together, go ahead, but you boys will be shocked when you see how in sync they are together in the little time they had to grow together. Do you think Purge is being overhyped? I say they are not getting hyped enough but do not get me wrong, we know the uphill battle that awaits in Commander and Blade; they are exceptional talent, and we cannot take anything from them, but what Purge will do is prevent them from securing another win and take the Tag Team Titles right in front of you.
Chris Hawkins steps up and hands the remote to Ryan, wearing a pair of black gloves. Ryan takes the remote and changes the picture to the Revolution X.
Ryan: Well, boys, there sure has been a lot of talking going on, and as much as I would like to get to next week already, I find myself once again with a camera in my face having to rebuttal false claims laid out by Bob Mitchell Corporation. Now you guys tried to paint this picture as a team to be feared. You back this up by claiming how you dismantled Revolution X before they even got started was proud of yourself for beating them in a tag team match and claims your win was more prestigious than ours when you faced a tag team that barely been together longer than Nitro and me and do not even get me started on the paperweight champion you tried to boost about in Phoenix. Sure he's a Champion, but let's not act like he a top dog; he got lucky and had helped to win that TV Championship, and I won't be surprised if Rogue knocks him off, so I have to say your win is unimpressive and if that's the competition you've been facing in IIW all this time then it clearly explains why you two have gone undefeated because you've been facing guys with no merit or grit.
Now don't get me wrong, I respect you, and I will still fight alongside you because of that respect but don't confuse me for someone that wants to get the rub from you guys because I can stand on my own and me and Nitro do not fear you. We will look you two in the eyes and will not blink.
Ryan changes the picture to The Commander.
Ryan: Now, Commander, I appreciate your story you told and letting us peek into how you became to be the man you are today; it was very touching but also very telling. You seem to be just a good soldier that is good at following orders, and that is good; we need a man like you that will jump to action at each call. Just like Osh used to call you to action even though you knew he was going to screw you over like he did every other time. You still showed up like a good soldier each time then you return to the streets to survive. Then Bob came and saved you said and treated you like family, that was touching but don't kid yourself Bob only took you in because of what you could do for him if you were just another average Joe on the street Bob would've never looked your way.
Ryan slides his gloves off.
Ryan: I'm so happy you said this wouldn't be a friendly match up Commander because now the gloves come off. it was killing Nitro and me to play it nice, but since you said neither side should hold back, your about to get what you want because now you get the Dream Killer and This Psycho (he points to Nitro). I am going to do whatever it takes, Commander and Blade. I am going to get inside your head see what makes you tick, and once I figure it out, I will then feast on that fear.
I already know what you two crave the most and what you dream hoping to accomplish your convent those tag team titles. You said those Tag Team titles were stolen from you because you never lost the tag team title, but when the company shut down, when you allowed for IIW to close, why holding The IIW Tag Team Titles was a failure in your own right. You did not deserve to be handed back the titles when you failed at your duty as Champion to make sure these doors never close. So I will take great pleasure in denying your dreams of reclaiming those tag team titles.
Nitro turns the camera towards him.
Nitro: I love that energy partner, and I'm going to match it when we get inside that ring as I go crazy on Blade and Commander, making them succumb to the agony and pain I will dish out, and Commander, don't act like your story is any special my life wasn't easy either but you don't see me talking about the past now I know you didn't bring it up to get sympathy because you are better than that, but I also know it was not necessary. All that matters is that you and Blade must face a team that can push you, boys, to the limit. If you think Distoner and Phoenix were a threat, you will look at us as your executioners.
Nitro turns the camera back to Ryan.
Ryan: So with all that said, the time for talking is over; we both know how each other feel and where we stand as a team; the only thing to do now is to show up on Monday Night Mayhem and put four S.O.B’s in the ring and see which two big dawgs come out the ring with the gold and I'm not cocky when I say we're feeling really good about our chances right now and I can't wait to shatter your dreams and bring you back to reality. Come Monday Night Mayhem, bodies are going to drop, and dreams are going to end!
The camera shuts off as the scene fades out.

IIW Arena, outside of the head trainers room.
The door bursts open and out storms Blade Alexander, buttoning up his black dress shirt. Following him out is IIW's head trainer. Trainer: Just come back in, I want to take a look at a few more things before you hit Mayhem.
Blade turns to face the trainer, pointing at the trainer sticking his finger right in the trainer's face. Blade: You said it already yourself! The words came out of your mouth and it's too late to stick them back in now, I'm cleared to compete at Mayhem.
Trainer: I know I said it, but you took a pretty good shot and we just want to make sure everything's OK.
Blade: NO! You already gave the big thumbs up, there's no backing off now. I might be a little bruised but that's life. Jonny C took a shot at me from behind but he couldn't get the job done. Russell Wayne came at me from the front and he failed too. Everyone that's tried hasn't been able to put me down and that's exactly all that Ryan Hawkins and Chris Nitro or anyone else needs to know. Now you just take it back to whoever's trying to get you to find a reason to keep me out of Mayhem and you let them know it was a big failure. I'm gonna be there and there's nothing you or nobody else can do to stop it!
He takes a step closer to the trainer causing him to take a step back in defence, bumping into the wall Blade hand him backed up against. Blade: Now beat it before I decide I'm gonna send a very physical message to anyone else who thinks they're going to come along and take a shot at me.
The trainer doesn't hesitate to scramble off back into the trainers room. Blade spins around to face the camera, eyes on fire. Blade: Now take a look. Hawkins. Nitro. Get a good look and get a good feel for what you're up against, because so far I've got a feeling the things we're telling you, you fair warnings are falling on deaf ears. Well maybe you're not hearing what we're saying but the eyes don't lie, so take a good look.
First of all you've got The Commander and he's laid it all out. He told you straight up what those Tag Team Titles mean to him and you dismissed him as a lackey. A hired gun. Beware that hired gun because you never hear the shot that takes you down. He's been in the ring with the best to ever lace up boots. He's seen everything you could ever throw at him. This is a man with blood on his hands and he's getting in there feeling like he's got something to prove. He's dangerous in ways you haven't even heard about but you think you got that tough guy going for you because you're supposed to be hardcore.
Hardcore against a guy, singular that the two of you couldn't beat, so you took to weapons just to beat up two homeless old men and make yourself sound like tough guys doing so. Meanwhile we took on two guys looking to make a statement and we cut them down where they stood. But you still don't get it. You want to look past Revolution X then you face them first if there's anything still left of them. You threw everything you had including the kitchen sink at the BUM Squad and they're still outback right now begging for food.
We beat Revolution X so hard two of their members quit and the one guy with a real title might lose it to the guy that embarrassed you two. But don't worry yourself about who's better between Anthony Phoenix and Rogue, they'll settle that themselves on Monday. Instead focus on us. You don't seem very intent to. We've been more than nice to you, but you just want to keep ignoring every warning. Well that's fine by my, I'd rather show you in person anyway. At least Chris Nitro has the good sense to focus on what's important, even if he has no idea the magnitude of what you're getting into. You talk about us giving up the Tag Team titles because IIW, but why should we? Why should we give up what we earned and never lost. We beat Hall of Fame tag teams to get those titles. Then we continued beating everyone else that's gotten in our way. Ryan Hawkins wants to talk about how great Rogue is after what? All two of his wins? Ask around about how great I am. Next time you're getting ready in the locker room ask the guy beside you how great I am because chances are I've beat him. Then you think about this, IIW went out of business not out of some big lack of interest, we didn't drive IIW out of business because we're that bad, we did it because we're that GOOD. We're that good and everyone knows it. It's hard to sell tickets to see people face us when everyone knows we're that much better than everyone else.
Don't think of it as IIW went out of business, think of it as it really was, even Osh with all his resources scoured the face of the planet and STILL couldn't find a single team that could give The Establishment a run for their money. We had to put it on pause and take a break so fans could forget just how good we are. We had to take a break to let people like you two into this business where you're riding high and think you have a chance when you have NO idea what you're getting yourself into.
Then think about this...
He motions for the camera to come in closer, which it does. Blade: After all that, Osh had to LET his nephew break in and steal the Tag Team Titles just so he could have a reason to take them off of us and set up this tournament to make it seem like some other time might ever have a chance and create this little illusion of drama that somehow The Commander and I might not get back our titles. But we will.
See where this whole thing goes off is that we're talking about The Establishment. We're talking about The Commander and Blade Alexander. We've been better than the best for a while now and we're not above proving it. People like you have to try to downplay what we've done so you can look like you have a fighting chance, because when we point out what you've done compared to us, well it's just not that much. We're talking about the situation we're all in here where they've taken something from two guys who take exception to having things taken away. This whole tournament was meant to be a nice way to set up all of these other teams to build yourselves up and make yourselves look a lot better so when we finally beat whoever wins it looked like they maybe would offer us some challenge, but you can thank all the people involved for putting you two into a situation where we're in the tournament too. So now instead of having weeks of gruelling matches we did you two a solid and levelled the whole tournament in one round. Now all that's left standing is us and you. And you're the only thing between us and our Tag Team Championships but no one ever told you that's the worst place you wanna find yourself. You wanna talk about your nightmares now Ryan Hawkins because you're standing on one and you don't even know it. You wanna know what makes me tick? It's being the best there's ever been at what I do, but don't worry I'll show you how good that is on Mayhem. I'll show Nitro too. That's what makes me tick. You want to know my fears? I fear that no one's ever really going to learn just how good I am in that ring and just how good The Commander and I are as a team and honestly the prognosis right there on that one isn't too good cause the best we can do and the best we can go against in the ring is two guys like you. A pair forged in failure and you think it makes you stronger... You know what makes us stronger? Finding a way to never fail. Finding a way to never lose.
Now I know what you're saying to yourself and no I did not win at KKND, but it took five men in one match, two extras to jump me from behind, and four paramedics to hold me down and strap me to a board to keep me from climbing that ladder and grabbing a key. How's your math? That's ELEVEN men, not counting the suits from the office that got in my way. But you I only see Ryan Hawkins and that's one. Chris Nitro, there's number two. You bring big brother Hawkins with you and you're all the way up to three but that's all you guys have got. Meanwhile I've got The Commander with me from the start and we've got Bob Mitchell in our corner. That's what it looks like when the odds are quickly stacking up against you, and then on top of it you've got one half of your team Ryan Hawkins thinking about the Hollywood title his mind not where it needs to be against us, then the other guy in your corner is thinking about how he's stealing The Commander's title and getting away with it and the next thing you know it's a bad night for you two and we're walking out with the thing we came back to take from day one.
So how's that feel for nightmares for you? Feels a lot like one of you losing two titles in one night. After that you've got to start asking yourself if you're Ryan Hawkins what could you possibly bring to The Establishment at World's Collide? If all you can do is fail when the pressure is on then why do we need you there at all? Once again I'm feeling bad for one of the men across the ring from us and that's Chris Nitro. You only got into this to try to take our titles. It's a bad idea, but you get credit for trying. But you're biggest mistake was thinking you could do it with a partner who's trying to earn his way onto our team, with a big brother talking for him leading him farther away from where he needs to be and with stars in his eyes whenever he sees anything shiny and gold. You're not coming up against old BUMs or rookies anymore, you're facing two of the best in their prime but there you are looking around you and can't tell the difference between any of them. Is it the stars in your eyes? Maybe it's the glare off all that alluring gold you keep chasing? It's not. It's their end of your very own personal nightmares, the part when you wake up and realize the bright lights that have been blinding you against us the whole time are the house lights you're looking at after we've laid you out on your backs making sure we get back everything that's been stolen from us.

Post by Chris 'Monday Night' Nitro on Apr 16, 2021 21:25:52 GMT
The scene opens to a fancy cigar lounge in Manchester. Ryan and Chris Hawkins are sitting at a table with Chris Nitro enjoying a nice glass of whiskey and some fine cigars.
NITRO - Either one of you guys feel a strong sense of Deja vu.
Ryan Hawkins - I definitely do.
Chris Hawkins- I feel like we have seen the same thing 3 times now.
All 3 men turn and look at the camera smiling.
NITRO - There is more to us than meets the eye Bob.
Chris Hawkins - Are you implying you're a transformer Nitro?
NITRO - No Chris not at all. I'm simply stating there is more to us than what people have seen so far. We are all brand new to IIW to trying to make our way here on this super stacked roster.
Ryan Hawkins - So far I would say we are doing a damn good job of it. We are in the finals of the tag team title tournament.
NITRO - Yes we are but it's not like it was a real deal tournament. We only had one match and are in the finals we haven't even really been able to show our real talent yet.
Ryan - No that's very true. We beat the B.U.M squad and it really wasn't all that hard. Plus they asked us to make it hardcore so we happily obliged them obviously.
Chris - I found it weird that Bob kept saying you guys where riding high from that win over the bums last week. I wouldn't say you guys where riding high at all.
NITRO - Yeah I saw that. He said it like 4 times. Obviously we are happy with how well we worked as a team, and we did pick up the win but we are in no way riding high. We know exactly who we beat last week. A couple of borderline homeless dudes. As Bob pointed out they are a veteran team who has worked together for a while but they are still BUMs.
Ryan - Exactly we fully understand how much we need to step our games up next Mayhem in order to compete.
NITRO - I do want to add that for our first time out as a full team our chemistry was on point. We worked well and took out time and executed out plan. It was very impressive to me how well we worked in the ring together. Not that I'm overly surprised we are wrestlers at the end of the day. As a team we just clicked and that's freaking fantastic. If we are riding high Bobby boy it's from working together as a team for the first time not getting a win over the bums.
Chris - As you should be. You guys worked very well together.
Ryan - Couldn't be more happy with how well we meshed in there. I'm excited for our bright futures in the tag division.
NITRO - You mean as champions of that division correct?
Ryan - I absolutely did excuse me.
Ryan, Chris Nitro clink there glasses together and take a sip while laughing a bit.
NITRO - It's kind of like the team Balde and Commander beat last week. Rev X, thats not a win I would be overly proud of either. Distoner was clearly to high to even know where he was.
Chris - That's how it appeared to me as well. He didn't know or even care there was a tag team match going on. Real challenge there boys.
NITRO - Bob I can't belive you're taking credit for the other teams dropping out. You think Adam the monster was to scared to face your team Bob. He ate his fucking partner man. He isn't legaly allowed to be in the match anymore he is no longer a team.
Ryan - Bob you also had nothing to do Riley or Dean up and disappearing. They probably realized they where on a team with Dan DiStoner and got the hell away from Rev X as fast as humanly possible.
NITRO - The James Gang got arrested. But they got arrested because of you Bob so I guess you can claim that one. Just barely though. Bob your guys are damn good no need to make false claims.
Chris Hawkins flags down the waitress and orders another round of drinks for the table.
NITRO - I almost feel as if they are not taking us seriously. I know you're on the same team Ryan but I just feel like we are being overlooked becasue we are hardcore wrestlers. Bob did his first promo alone like he was actually wrestling. That's disrespect If you ask me.
Ryan - That's just how Bob operates. He is all business and loves to talk. You get used to it after a while. He is a very smart man.
NITRO - Unlike you Ryan I won't have to. I'm not on Team Bob at Worlds Collide. After Mayhem next week my involvement with them in done win or lose.
Chris - I highly doubt that Nitro. Win or lose you will meet them again.
Ryan - Commander did show up though. He went on and on about the time he was in the bum squad. Or wanted to be in the bum squad. I don't know he life story was super depressing and made me almost fall asleep. I don't care get to the damn match bro.
NITRO - Sleeping behind dumpsters and stuff. Man I'm sure glad I don't need someone to come in and "save" me. I didn't have everything handed to me and had to work my ass off to get here but my confidence was always strong. I know I can overcome anything put in my way without anyone else's help.
Nitro picks up his drink and finishes what's left leaving just ice.
NITRO - Commander let's get one thing really fucking clear right now. I don't work for Osh nor will I ever. I'm in no one's pocket. I'm not coming to steal anything on his behalf OK. I know you guys have some long standing feud with eachother and that's great for you guys but I'm my own man. I'm no one's stooge Commander and I never will be. Osh signs my checks that's it I'm not in his pocket.
Ryan - I'm technically part of The Establishment I'm definitely not working for Osh.
NITRO - Commander, Blade and Bob have some PTSD from dealing with Osh for all these years for sure. I want the tag titles for me no one else. I don't care who I best to gain them either. It could have been sky squad for all I fucking care. I get you have been broken down and stolen from but there is no need to take that out on us Commander we didn't do shit.
Chris - Untill next Mayhem when you do steal the titles away from him.
Ryan - That's not stealing at all that's being the better team on that night. That's skill and ability not theft.
NITRO - No it's not stealing its a match. The better team walks away from the match with the titles. Nothing will be stolen from anyone. I don't care that these titles where your salvation Commander. I have no issues with you and unless we are sharing a drink I don't give a fuck about your back story. WAHHHHHH I WAS IN THE GUTTER. WAHHHHHH I WAS SKUM. WAHHHHH MY LIFE SUCKED. NO ONE GIVES ONE FLYING FUCK ABOUT YOUR SAD SACK LIFE. So what you had a hard life man we all have. I wasn't born with a silver spoon on my mouth but you don't see me crying about it. I adapted and overcame and became the man I am today. On my own I might add I didn't need a guardian angel.
The waitress brings over the round of new drinks. Nitro says he had this one and pays the lady.
NITRO - Commander don't you worry that little head of yours about how I train. You can look down on hardcore wrestling all you want. You can think like Bob is the lowest form of wrestling but I will argure its the opposite. Sure it will never have the prestige of a world title but it takes a real man to take that bad of a besting and get back up. You guys argue it will shorten careers I argue it makes them better. Agree to disagree.
Ryan - You did just take on a ton of people the other night inuding myself for the title though Nitro maybe they have a point.
NITRO - It's all training Hawk. I don't hit the gym and lift or do cardio. I fight to get better. Thats only way I want to better my self as a wrestler. To defend the 24/7 title every chance against anyone that had the balls to step up. Or in that ring on every card IIW puts out. Don't you worry your little head Commander I am ready for you. I have to be i know just how good you are. That's why I called out the roster to come after me becasue it's how I train. It's what makes me stronger and faster. Every beating I take makes me a better wrestler. I come out the other end stronger and wiser. I won't make the same mistakes again.
Chris - I was wondering why before the tag title match you called out the whole roster for not having balls.
NITRO - Because it's my thing that's why. That's how I train myself. It may look stupid to other people but it works for me and makes me stronger. Yes Bob I smash stuff up with my free time because it helps me push everything out of my head and focus. It may be silly to you and everyone else but again it works for me. I imagine I'm in a match hitting other people it's what I call image training. I'm always mentally training on top of physical training. It's what makes me dangerous. I belive you refer to me as a Psycho now right Hawk.
Ryan - The Dream Killer and the Psycho yup. That's exactly what we are. Bob, Blade, Commander you can try and diminish what we have accomplished all you want but that makes you look scared. We have been nothing but completely of you guys as a team because we do know just how good you are.
NITRO - We absolutely do know how good you guys are. You can underestimate us all you want it just fuels us more. It makes us want this win more. Reguardless of who you think this win is for its for us. It's for the Purge. Again we aren't stealing shit from you guys we are earning it. We will win clean and earn those tag team titles from one of the greatest tag teams the IIW has ever seen.
Chris - You're damn right you will Nitro.
NITRO - Hey you guys claim you never lost the titles and yes that's partly true. But the fed closed with you at the height of the tag team division. You claim to be the most dominant tag team in IIW. You also say you work so well as a team because it been so long. If you where do good how did the fed closed with you as champs. Granted I fully understand that's not a one team thing but clearly you guys being tag champions wasn't as glorious as you remember it being. You know who wasn't here and didn't help at all in the IIW closing.
Ryan - The Purge.
NITRO - You're damn right. We weren't here when IIW closed up. In fact most of the roster is new here and wasn't here when it closed years ago. I'm sure that's by design as well. This is a new IIW Blade and Commander. You guys are old news here part of the veteran area of IIW. Again we aren't implying you're not damn good in that ring by any means. We are just saying that IIW went through a change for the better since the last time they closed. Look at the talent on this roster. From top to bottom it's absolutely stacked. The new generation is here guys and we are taking control of IIW now.
Chris - Those are some very valid points you just made Nitro. The roster here is definitely stacked like no other I have seen.
Ryan - The talent here is amazing now. Unlike a few years back. I guess your path to the titles last time was a walk in the park. A fed wouldn't close if it had amazing talent. With you guys being champions last go around some of that blame falls on you I would say. Lack of competition doesn't help though. It's a new era guys that's for sure.
NITRO - We are going to show you just how much the talent level has changed here. We are going to show you that we won't be a walk in the park. We are more than ready to stand in that ring with you and show everyone that we are the better tag team. It doesn't matter thag we are a new team. It doesn't matter that we both lost to Rouge in a boiler room brawl. It doesn't matter that we only had one match before this title match. It also doesn't matter that this match for the titles is being givin away on free TV. That's all irrelevant bullshit as far as I'm concerned.
Ryan - 2 teams enter and only one walks out the the titles. That's the long and short of this match boys. No beefs we don't dislike you at all and we know your good. This comes down to who wants it more.
NITRO - I can promise you that we want it way more than you. You have been to the dance before. This is old hat to you 2. This is new for us, we are hungry for this win and those titles. We are making a name for ourselves here in IIW and those titles will add to that.
Ryan - The Purge is definitely here to stay. Call us a crappy horror movie rip off all you want. Name calling is the lowest form of promo is you ask me.
NITRO - I know more than anyone that cheap shots and name calling don't always pan out to well. We are the Purge because we follow no rules. We do what we want when we want. When we hit that ring we are ready for anything. We dont expect you guys to understand us and that's fine. We are very different teams but also very similar. We look forward to mixing it up with you at Mayhem.
Chris - You can't claim to be the best tag team in IIW if you don't beat the former champions.
NITRO - Exactly. We know what we have do to claim the top spot here in IIW. You claim to be the best tag team here. I claim your best years are behind you. You have beaten the same lack luster tag teams here that we have. Major diffence is we know they sucked. Your delusion of grander and false claims at taking out all the other teams is laughable. Let's see how much you got left in the tank boys.
Ryan - You guys where the best here. You very well might still be the best but you have yet to be really challenged this run of IIW. That's where we come in. If I'm going to stand by your side at Worlds Collide I need to make sure you still got it boys.
NITRO - Outside of Hawk being my boy I give no fucks how strong you are for Worlds Collide. I do agree thought The Establishment (also sounds like a terrible B movie title) hasn't been challenged yet.
Chris - The Tag Team division here is definitely lacking a bit outside of you guys and Commander and Blade.
Ryan - The best of the best isnleft though. Granted being the best of this tag division hasn't been that hard yet. As much as we can sit here and say the Establishment hasn't been tested or challenged neither have we.
NITRO - Thats why I want this to be a full on war. Neither of us been tested in this division yet. That's not good for either team. I don't think for one second that The Establishment or either of us is rusty but walking through matches makes your mind weak. We all need to step our game up come mayhem next week. I know we are damn ready to do so and from what I have seen from Balde and Commander I know they are as well.
Ryan - We are counting on that for sure.
All three men cheers and finish their drinks. They pour 3 more from the bottle sitting at the table.
NITRO - Not going to lie I'm looking forward to this test. I know damn well it won't be easy for us. I have alot of faith in us as a team and know we can overcome you guys and take home that tag gold making us the best tag team in IIW. I said last time make sure you're ready but I know it didn't need to be said. I know you 2 would never show up not ready to go 100%. I guess the time for talk is over.
Ryan - Now it's time for our favorite part. It's time to fight Boys.
NITRO - It sure as hell is. We are trained and mentally ready for the Establishment. We are at the top of our game and ready for the challenge. Bring everything you have guys because we are testing you right back. May the best team win.
All 3 men shot their drinks and slam the glasses down onto the table. They all laugh. Chris Hawkins is ordering another bottle as the scene fades to black.

Backstage somewhere in the IIW arena.
Somewhere in front of an IIW banner stands Bob Mitchell along with Blade Alexander and The Commander and the man time forgot, Larry Fishburg, adjusting his glasses while in the middle of getting a dressing down from Bob Mitchell.
Bob Mitchell: You just stand there and hold the mic, that's all you've got to do. You've got one job, and that's IT! Do I make myself clear?
Larry: Y-Y-Yes....
Bob: Good boy.
Bob puts his hand on Larry's head and makes him nod like he understands. The look on his face shows he's too confused to say anything. Bob takes one look at his hand and wipes it on Larry's jacket. Bob: Now that we've got that straightened away we can get down to business. You know I was sat in my office the other day listening to the ramblings of drunkards that our opponents for Mayhem call a promo and in that large slab of nonsense they did hit a kernel of truth that I want to take a minute and speak about.
See somewhere in all that rookie self pep talk stuff they mentioned being untested. And that we are. Ever since IIW reopened we've been fairly busy running off thieves and getting jumped from behind, but the one thing we really haven’t' had was a good quality test in the ring. One half of this team came close at KKND, but we all know what happened there.
But when we get down to it, we haven't really had a tag match that's tested us as a team. Sure we had Revolution X last Mayhem, but they were hardly a test. Now I know our opponents for next Mayhem are still new to this, and they think we were trying to brag about beating some great team, but we're doing no such thing. We're just pointing out the reality of the situation. You see Anthony Phoenix and Dan Distoner, two very well travelled veterans of this business came in as self assured as yourselves. They were spearheading this new group they were trying to put together and were as sure as the two of you that they were going to take us out and prove to the world that Rev X is no joke. But it WAS a joke. We systematically destroyed them and embarrassed them so badly that two of their members up and quit rather that live knowing they were associated with that group.
Meanwhile on the other side you two had to use weapons to defeat geriatric BUMs. Tough BUMs in their day, but those days are getting further and further away. You claim you're not taking anything from us even when you claim that Dan Distoner looked high, but that's how he always wrestles, not that I'd expect you two to know that, learning about your opponents isn't your strong suit. Instead you two would rather leave it to hope. Hope our best days are behind us. Hope we're not as good as we say, but we are.
The Commander grabs the hand of Larry Fishburg and points the microphone toward himself. Commander: Chris Nitro, you're a damned fool. You think you're tough because you get hit by weapons and chairs. Let me tell you kid, been there done it. Turns out it's better to have a run like Bruno as World Champ than it is to fall off a big cage like Mick. I learned the hard way that's it's a hell of a lot better being remembered as one of the best every single night than it is to be remembered as the stain you made the one match you had, but hey don't listen to me, you can tell when someone's giving you friendly advice anyway.
See I didn't go on some whining rant, I just retold history so you two idiots had some idea what you're stepping into on Monday, not that it did you any good. Chris Nitro you acted like it was a weakness to need a helping hand out of the gutter, but I guess you wouldn't see the need when you're the outsider in a family. Looks to me like you're insulating yourself against the inevitable. See after Monday night when you two morons can't believe you were beaten by the best there's going to be some finger pointing, looking for someone to blame. You think Chris is going to blame Ryan? Think Ryan is going to blame Chris? They're family, it ain’t happening. They're going to blame that guy who's always done everything on his own. Let's not even mention that everything you ever did was nothing. Not a fucking thing. When it came to doing something on your own you lost to Rogue. Then you think you're tough because you're hardcore. You call out everyone on the roster, that's not an act of toughness, it's an act of a concussion. When you're not winning titles and you're laying in a hospital bed, concussed, stitched up then you come tell us all about your personal ethics. When those checks with Osh's name on them stop coming because you burned yourself out quick then you tell us who's pocket you're in. Your a self established tough guy now, but sooner or later everybody’s gotta serve somebody. You cash checks with Osh's name on them, you're his bitch. The only difference is you haven't done anything yet to get noticed, at the rate you're going you wont. Then when Chris and Ryan figure you're the dead weight then we'll see how much of your own man you are.
And if you STILL don't think you're catching the blame, then you think long and hard about your own words. You're the one who said you don't need anyone or anything with them right there. You said all you want is the titles and you don't care how you get them or who you do it with while they stood beside you. You put that on tape for the world to hear and you can be sure they're going to play that shit back when they sober up. You're already writing your team off. Someone smart, someone strong knows their own limitations. They know when it's time to do something on their own, and they know when it's time to ask your family for help. You think you're better than me because you don't need anyone else for help, but you're worse because you can't see you're just like me, only years behind.
He takes a stroll back turning his large back to camera while Bob stand there staring back and forth between his hand and Larry Fishburg's jacket. Blade: So we're untested. Let's talk about it boys. You think you're great, yeah, you think this new IIW is hot, what of it? Here we've been in this tag tournament just a few weeks now and it went from being a contest between all the new teams here in IIW to just you and us. This thing was supposed to go on, but look at all the new teams that couldn't hang with us. But you wanna talk about how great things are now, then let's get in it.
First you got Adam the Monster eating his partner, and if he was all that big bad he's got that manager that could stand on the apron while he does the work, but no the monster saw us and bailed, but if you want to thing he got himself eliminated it helps you rest better I'm sure. Then Bob gets the James Gang in jail cause they just couldn't cut it on the outside. Everywhere we turn people are dropping out and that leaves us untested. The only reason it's come down to us is that you guys didn't bother checking out the times we were tested. The stuff we have done.
You just wanna look at it like IIW closed, the end. Good story, it makes you guys look better, but all we did different this time was lower the bar. See, go back and watch what we did last time around in IIW and we don't just need weapons to beat up BUMs. We faced Hall of Famers and some of the best teams this sport has seen, but none of them were on our level. It's hard to find people to test you when you're this good. We couldn't find them before so the shop got closed up. What's different this time is that we have this big influx of talent and you all want to think you're the best and everything's different, but when you dig a hole at the base of a mountain it doesn't change the view from the top, it just makes it a bigger climb.
Bob grabs Blade by the back of his suit jacket and pulls him back.
Bob: Chris, Ryan... Other Chris... Let me simplify that for you. In order to make it seem like IIW is growing they lowered their standards to let in people like you who are untested in this business. Now you seem people like us and you think if you're getting in there with us you must be the best of the best. After all, you've been here a few weeks and haven't seen anything too special from us so you get this false sense of your own worth. You might be confident in your ability now, but singing bats at opponents whose best move is to give you Hep C isn't exactly going to forge any great teams. You didn't bother to see but what makes The Establishment so formidable is that we've teamed youth with experience. Now we've had that run before and have actual experience as a team. You two have yet to make a single legal tag in a match, but you think you work well as a team. We're going to show you Monday how that's not a great basis for thinking you deserve a tag title shot. The sad truth is you don't and anyone who's paid any attention knows it, but we're kind of at a shortage for challengers at the moment.
But ignore all that again like you have for the last two weeks. Come to the ring thinking you're prepared for anything like you claim you are and when you try to show us just how hardcore you are and it'll be a very short match where you find out just why we're the REAL Tag Team Champions. Swing a chair, swing a pipe, I dare you. While you two are bragging up how big and tough you are more than anything you know the one thing you're not prepared for is something we specialize in: Tag Team Matches. You've been in fights and you've been in wars, but neither of you know what to do in an actual match.
The Commander finally turns back towards the camera, grabbing the microphone and Larry Fishburg's hand again making sure he's the centre of attention. Commander: What's the guilty conscious about Chris Nitro. Time and time again you said you didn't steal anything, but you know full well the only way you're walking out of Mayhem with our belts is theft. You might be a man who's never owed anyone anything but you've never had anything either. It doesn't take a whole lot of chemistry to use some tables and chairs to beat up two other guys who were asking for it, but it does take a whole lot of trust and asking for help to be in a successful tag team. You talk about being a wrestler but you've never even been in a wrestling match. You keep asking people to make sure you're not in matches either. The sad thing is really that you're the most delusional guy in IIW today. You think you're a great wrestler and you've never had a real match. You think you're in a great tag team, but you're a loner that does things alone. You think your lifestyle makes you so hard when it's holding you back, and worst of all, you think once we've beaten you it's going to be some great feather in our caps. It's no great feat to be two delusional rookies who have no experience together when you've been the best tag team in the world for a few years now.
It's a much harder feat for Bob Mitchell to push back The Commander, but with a little work he manages to. Bob Mitchell: You'll have to excuse Chris Nitro, brains aren't his strong suit. This is the guy, after all, who said he trains his brain by breaking stuff and calls it image training. You know who else trains that way? Children. It's called pretend Nitro. You pretend to beat up other people because you know when it comes to beating The Establishment in the ring the closest you'll ever get is make believe. That's not training your mind, that post concussion syndrome. You don't need someone to hit you with a chair to prove you're tough, you need to see a doctor because you have brain trauma.
And then you Ryan Hawkins. This guys gets you to call him Psycho, but you're buts for stepping in the ring with him. Maybe if you had the good sense to pick your brother we might have taken this as a serious challenge to our titles, but they two of you couldn't figure out tag team wrestling with a YouTube video to show you step by step. But there's still a bit of hope to you. It's why your brother is easing you away from your hardcore ball and chain. You're more than just that, you could have a legitimate future ahead of you, it's why I'm considering you for a spot on the team at Worlds Collide, as far as you're concerned you're not going to walk out of this match with any sort of championship and we both know that, after all, why distract yourself with entry into the Hollywood Battle Royal. You already know the outcome, but you can at least make one hell of a showing against the best tag team ever to step into an IIW ring and cement yourself a spot in the main event at World's Collide. We're not about to take it easy on you, that wouldn't be good for us if we did... But we are going to see if all this talk is just that, talk, or if you really have a future and can stand along side these two men even if for just one night. As far as Chris Nitro is concerned though, no mercy. It's nothing personal Chris, you're just not smart enough to be a threat or offend anyone else with one of your little promos. This is just fair warning to anyone else who wants to take a shot at The Establishment and actually dared for a moment entertained the thought that we've become anything short of the very best in the ring that this business has to offer. We haven't. We're the the best and we don't take very kindly to any sort of backstabbing thievery anyone lowers themselves to in order to try to knock us off, and we're not about to put up with anyone not in our league when trying to talk down to us about being the best. We've proven time and time again and come Mayhem, it's Greatest Hits time, we'll prove it yet again.
Bob pushes Larry Fishburg back and the three walk off with Bob shaking his hand like he's stuck it into something sticky or smelly or more likely with Larry Fishburg, both.
Fade.
