[The scene opens to the interior of the VOID nightclub, where Kaitlyn, wearing a white t-shirt with a purple dolphin design jumping out of the water in the center, denim jeans and black leather boots, has gone to take some time to herself. Think about her discussion earlier with Kasey, when she told him that her brother would be visiting them later this month, for three days. The duration they had agreed on, once Kaitlyn was able to convince him that they wouldn't be paying for his hotel room, or any room service he might wish to indulge in while in Manchester. She knows how the two of them are like oil and water, but she also knows that Kasey accepts that he is still her family; family means everything to her. It's how her mom and dad raised her. Looking around, she brushes past a male wearing a LA Lakers "LeBron James" jersey; in his early twenties.]
Sorry. [She states, as she continues walking.]
[Turning her body to the right, she surveys the stools in front of the bar table, trying to find a vacant one, so that she can order her standard vodka. Softly sighing, she realizes that all of the stools are taken by various patrons and turns her body back toward the dancefloor. Hoping that she can at least get her blood flowing and into the groove. Just as she had done during her visits to the Havana Club in Atlanta. It is then, that a male who appears to be in his early thirties wanders over to her, a smile across his face.]
Hey. [He calls out, catching her attention.]
Hi. [She shyly remarks, surveying his body; his orchid shirt, jeans and white/charcoal sneaker.]
Aren't you Kaitlyn Finley? [He states, remembering where he had seen her face before.]
[She nods.] Yeah, I am.
[The man then lets a gentle laugh leave his lips, as he smiles warmly. Surprised to be able to see her in person.]
I heard about you signing with IIW. [His remark resonating with her, he pauses to allow her to respond. Though she decides to allow him to continue talking.] I'm a massive fan; can't wait to see you and Kasey make your debuts.
[Kasey simply responds with a smile, as she continues making her way toward the dancefloor. The man turns his body and side steps so that he is to her right.]
Yeah. I'm hoping the talent there is as advertised to be honest.
There's some top-tier females on that roster. Both looks and in-ring wise.
[Kasey can't help but let out a gentle laugh.]
Of course you'd mention the looks. I'm not too bothered about how they look. I just want them to provide an actual challenge between the ropes. [She holds back her next words, lifting her right hand to her mouth.]
[Noticing this, the man raises his left eyebrow slightly.] I wouldn't have taken you for the arrogant type.
It's confidence, not arrogance. [She flatly rebuts, eliciting a small smile from him.] Anyway, you haven't told me your name yet.
Hey! Don't change the subject like that. [Obvious sarcasm in his voice, the man sternly states.] It's Matthew.
[Kaitlyn smiles, as she looks across at Matthew, while he remains standing on the edge of the floor. Not really wanting to dance, but also not wanting to just stand idle either.]
You coming? [She asks.]
Nah. [He responds, heading over to one of the tables about seven feet to the right of him; sitting down.] Nice meeting you though, Kaitlyn. And good luck in IIW.
Thanks, and nice meeting you too.
{She makes her way past a bunched up group of five, before finding an empty space about nine feet from the entrance to the dancefloor. Commencing her standard dancing. Though this time, she is more sober than normal as she calmly moves to the tempo of the music, so it looks like an actual dance instead of her merely flailing around aimlessly. Laughing, she feels her phone jiggling in her pocket, reaching in with her right hand and pulling it out, checking her messages. 2 unread, both from Kasey. Scanning through the first one, she hums to herself, before typing out a quick 'yeah, I'll be home around 3 am', before reading the second; adding to her response 'And yeah. I'll call her in the morning' before placing it back in her pocket. Right as she notices a male who appears to be not much older than her, staring in her direction. Not wanting to appear suspicious, she turns her head to look past him, before slowly turning her dance into more of a mosh pit form.]
Excuse me. [She hears someone say, as she turns her head. Noticing a man standing right in front of her.]
Oh. Sorry.
[She stops dancing to let him through, before reflecting upon her brother's arrival.]
Maybe Kasey is right... [She utters under her breath.[ Yes, he is family, but sometimes, the right thing isn't always to accommodate him.
[Her conflicted thoughts obvious by the pained expression on her face, she exhales. Hoping that taking a few breaths can help her regain her bearings.]
I'll ask mom tomorrow. [She whispers, making a mental note of it so that she doesn't forget later.] She'll know how to handle it.
[Resuming her dancing, she attempts to compartmentalize the thought; allow herself to focus on enjoying her time alone. After all, she didn't come to the club to think about anything else rather than the music and maybe refining her dance moves. The scene then fades, as she finds her rhythm, being sure to shoot smiles at people who glance in her direction.]

[The next morning, Kaitlyn, attired in a black leather jacket that has "The Chaos Valkyrie" written on the back in white font, a midnight black singlet and black Adidas shoes, is seated on a chocolate brown couch, inside of her hotel room. Next to her, sits Kasey, wearing a granola colored hooded jumper, black tracksuit pants and white/crimson red Nike sneakers. The both of them having just finished watching the "Lord of the Rings". Smiling, Kaitlyn positions her body so that she is directly looking at Kasey. A soft expression across her face.]
You sure it's okay with you?
About? [He asks, although he knows what she is referring to.]
You know…
[He nods.] Yeah. It's okay.
[She smiles, kissing him softly on the cheek.] Okay. [She then inhales.] Mom said his flight should be landing Sunday night; he'll call us when he's at the airport.
[Kasey nods gently. He knows that he doesn't really have much choice but to go along with it. To him, Kaitlyn's family is essentially his family, even if he doesn't get along with them occasionally. Or even most of the time, in the case of her brother. Though at least this time, he won't be getting in their way as much.]
Did she say what time?
Approximately 7:30 pm.
[Kasey softly kisses Kaitlyn's right cheek.] Alright.
[Kaitlyn smiles, her cheek's softly reddening with the touch of his lips, before she slowly rises.]
I'll be back soon, okay? [She remarks, glancing down.] Just going to go down the street.
Okay.
[She navigates her way around his outstretched feet, before picking up her phone from the table; walking out the door. Closing it behind her, she softly exhales.]
Shit. [She states, gently patting her jacket pockets.] Forgot my wallet.
[She softly laughs, turning back around and re-opening the door.]
Back so soon? [Kasey states, laughing.]
No [She responds, walking over to the table and picking up her wallet.] Almost forgot to take my wallet.
[He gently laughs, as she places the wallet into the left pocket of her jacket; leaves the room once again. This time closing the door behind her as she walks down the hall.]
I'm not in IIW to simply be a pretty face. Eye candy. Kasey's girlfriend. That would be a disservice to who I am. What I have fought for throughout my career. What I promised to my father the very first day he allowed me to train in the gym. [Her statements are soft yet authoritative, she continues walking.] They would simply result in me fitting into the mold that people have constructed. The archetype that some have already pigeonholed for me.
[Turning to the right, she begins to walk down the stairs.] A mold that I intend on shattering, from the moment I step between those ropes. The moment I get to show not just IIW, but the world, what lies beneath the exterior. The side of me that I don't let many people see, until they stand across the ring from me. When they have no choice but to look me in the eyes.
[Kaitlyn reaches the bottom of the stairs, walking into the lobby; casting a glance around. Noticing a portrait of a beach, with people laying on the sand or swimming in the ocean on the wall closest to her, but one part of the portrait in particular grabs her attention. It is a singular dolphin, its body half in the water; half on top of the water. Staring at the vast vacant ocean surrounding it. Smiling, Kaitlyn takes a few moments to admire it, before turning her body and walking out of the lobby. Gathering her thoughts as she does.]
It's the side of me that they should fear. The side of me that will ensure that no matter what. No matter how much they attempt to resist. How futilely they attempt to avoid the inevitable, it will always sweep them away. Leave them atop the mat, wondering just where they went wrong. How it all fell apart, before their very eyes. [She gives a slightly sadistic smile as she exits the hotel; heads onto the sidewalk.] Painfully oblivious to the reality that played out before them.
[Stopping about twelve feet from the hotel, she laughs softly before glancing forward. A fire hiding within her eyes.]
For it is that side, that stands alone atop the apex. Staring down; ensuring that those who stand before me, are left with no choice but to fall at my feet. [She winks, smirking.] Don't worry though, it'll all be painless…
[She resumes her saunter, before turning her body around.]
It won't take long. Just know, you're living within the queendom of the Chaos Valkyrie. All you can do, is accept your fate.
[The scene fades to the sound of her sinister laughter, as the fire continues to burn within her eyes; she turns back around, continuing her walk. Ensuring that the IIW understand just what lurks within them.]

[Kaitlyn lays supine on the right hand side of the double bed her and Kasey are sharing during their stay in Manchester. Attired in a violet halter top and denim jeans, she looks up at the ceiling as Kasey sits on the chocolate brown couch, attired in a midnight black "University of Georgia" hooded jumper, black jeans and black "Adidas" sneakers, watching ESPN SportsCenter. Sighing, Kaitlyn looks over to Kasey, who doesn't notice her warm but intimidating stare.]
Kasey.
[Turning his head, Kasey glances at her.]
Yeah?
[She smiles slightly.] You sure you want to go through with it?
Why wouldn't I? [He inquires, sensing Kaitlyn's gentle yet cautious expression.]
What if it doesn't work out? [She asks.]
[He simply shakes his head.] Don't worry, it will. Remember, your father trained me.
I know. I'm just worried that you might fall flat on your face. [She pauses, sighing.] I have faith in you though.
I won't. Trust me.
[He smiles, as Kaitlyn slides her feet off the side of the bed, bracing herself as she rises. Making sure to go around the bed, her feet softly pound against the plush, sky blue carpet. Her eyes continue to be fixated on Kasey. Gauging just how confident he is in himself.]
I do...
[He glances at her] Really?
[She nods, but he notices the slightly dejected look she gives him. Even as she tries to mask it with a smile.]
Yeah. [She states softly, making her way over to him.]
[He smiles, as she sits down next to him. Placing a gentle kiss on his lips.]
Remember what dad taught you.
I will.
[She gently smiles, as the scene fades. Both of them continue to watch SportsCenter as they think about the week ahead. Not just with her brother visiting for a few days, but also Kasey's impending wrestling debut. A match where he has the chance to become champion on his first night.]
Sorry. [She states, as she continues walking.]
