The segment starts with Max Evans running the ropes in a dusty, broken ring. He stops and turns to look at the camera.
Max Evans : Throughout my time in the independent circuit many people have asked me why I fight, why I perform.
Evans starts shadow boxing
Max Evans : Well the answer brings us back to a dark time in my life. The answer brings us back to my childhood. At the age of 1, both my parents died in an car crash. I didn't know them and have no memories of them. I wish I did.
Evans starts doing sit-ups
Max Evans : I was sent to live in an orphanage in the dark parts of town. I got into many fights throughout my 15 years there so I had to learn to fight. The anger of not knowing my parents fuelled me as I fought. I became quite an aggressive child.
Evans starts doing push ups
Max Evans : I developed a love of wrestling during my spare time. I loved the aggression, the fury, the revenge, and the anger. I knew from that moment, I was destined to be a wrestler. At the age of 16, I signed up to the cheapest, crappiest wrestling school I could find. I used all my anger and channeled it into my matches. It fuelled me was I fought. During my matches, I let it all out. The pain of not knowing my parents, the suffering of the dinner-less nights and the anger of the bullying. All of it.
Evans exits the school
Max Evans: That ladies and gentleman, is why I fight. Not for money or fame but as a way to let it all out. So this is a message to all my opponents. Hide in your shelters, ring the sirens cause the British Bombshell is ready to drop!
