We open up to the Greater Manchester Police Station where Jason Myers and his girlfriend, Lilith Morningstar, are sat at a police officers desk, a S. Kennedy who browses through some documents:
Kennedy: So, Mr. Myers, Miss Morningstar, I'm looking through the charges put forth to the two of you. It seems that Mr. DiStoner has dropped any assault charges along with his friends, a Mr. Deane and a Mr. Phoenix. No reason is specified, although the owners of The Briton's Protection have requested you pay for the damages caused to their establishment.
Myers: That's perfectly fine with me. What I did to him, the cost of a new door and a few tables and chairs was worth it to ruin that pricks birthday party.
Kennedy: Okay, and I see here you've requested that we look into the damage caused to your '67 Chevrolet Impala as well as the attempt on your life. Now we have eye witnesses that the three you claimed were responsible, Mr. DiStoner, Mr. Phoenix and Mr. Deane, they were all present at The Briton's Protection as you were assaulted. Is there anyone else you can think of that would want to cause you harm?
Myers: Now I know I wrestle on global TV and yeah, what comes with it is a lot of enemies but hey, I keep my nose clean, I've only just signed with IIW, yeah I don't get on with a lot of guys but not enough to warrant being damn near killed. My car is a write off, how the hell am I supposed to go down the street without not looking back incase some dickhead is trying to kill me or Lilith?
Kennedy: Well Mr. Myers we have our team out combing the road where you were ran off last Monday, we have put out feelers for anyone around the time of the incident and urged any witnesses to come forward but for now lay low.
Myers: Lay low? Are you thick as pig shit? I wrestle for a globally renowned company. I'm obliged to fulfil my contract on a weekly basis unless I'm not eligible to compete.
Myers then gets to his feet and slams his hands on the policeman's desk as he raises his voice:
Myers: You people are idiots. Guess I'll have to take matters into my own hands. Come on Lilith.
Myers then grabs his cheque book, writing out a cheque for £500 to cover the costs of the damage he caused to the pub as the two then exit the police station.
As Myers and Lilith exit the station, there's a familiar looking car, a brand new '67 Chevrolet Impala waiting for them. Myers sees an envelope with the keys in as a car in the distance drives away. Myers opens the envelope and the two get in the car. There's a letter placed on the dashboard as Myers begins to read it out loud;
''Hey you limey fuck. I've had just about enough of your shit. It's about damn time me and you settled this. Do what you want to me but no one fucks with my weed or my boys So I got a challenge for you. Prove you got a pair of plums and put your money where your mouth is. Keep your eyes peeled, 'cause I got a receipt comin' for ya
D. DiStoner'
Myers: What a prick. Come on, let's get going.
The two then drive away as the scene fades.
We then open up to Myers and Lilith arriving back at their apartment. Myers checks his answering machine;
''Hey Jase, it's Michael Morrison. Mr. Vaughn asked me to drop you a message to say you're in action on the next Mayhem. It's you vs. Kevin Deane, with the added stip that if you beat Deane, they won't be allowed at ringside next time you and Dan face each other, because let's face it, it's inevitable. Good luck buddy, and congrats on getting cleared to compete''
Myers: Perfect. Looks like I've got work to do.
Myers then takes a seat before running his fingers through his hair, contemplating his next move. Lilith then begins to converse with Jason;
Lilith: So, what's the next move?
Myers: The next move? I plan to take down Revolution X one by one. What I did last week, that was just the beginning. I don't give a shit what the cops say, I know damn well DiStoner played a part in me being ran off the road that night. You said it yourself, you saw MJ and Lynn showing Dan a video at the party. That whole thing with getting me a new car, that wasn't a gift. It was a way to get in my head. To throw me off my game. I know for a fact he has something up his sleeve, I've known the guy over a decade. I know what he's all about and his endgame is to make sure I don't step foot into an IIW ring ever again.
Lilith: What about Deane? You know he doesn't care if he wins or loses next week, he'll be doing DiStoner's bidding to make sure you don't even make it to the next PPV.
Myers: Deane is a mere pawn in all of this. He'll be that fixated on trying to injure me that he won't be able to focus on the task at hand. I'm just gonna focus on beating him and keeping Revolution X out of the picture. I want DiStoner one on one and his fuck buddies nowhere to be seen. Otherwise all three of them will be in the hospital together.
Lilith: One thing at a time Jase. Just focus on beating Deane first, you've just been cleared to compete, I mean you're damn lucky you weren't severely hurt or arrested last week. That was a damn insane stunt you pulled.
Myers: Yeah, but it was worth it. To send a message, to humiliate DiStoner and to ruin his birthday. I gotta say, I couldn't have done it without you.
The two then share a kiss before Myers gets to his feet.
Myers: OK, guess I've got work to do. Everything's happening so fast so I'm gonna hit the gym. I'll leave the car and text you when I'm done, we'll go grab a coffee OK?
Lilith: Alright, I'll lay low for now. It was Phoenix who hired me for Dan's birthday and I don't think they'll be happy once they find out I set them up.
The two then kiss once again as the scene fades.
The scene re-opens to a Pure Gym as we hear Wild Eyes by Parkway Drive blaring out from Myers' earphones as he runs on the treadmill, beads of sweat pouring down from his forehead. He begins to slow down before stepping off the treadmill, grabbing a towel as he wipes the sweat from his brow, he then takes a drink from his sports bottle as he speaks;
Myers: You know what, I have to say after the past couple of weeks, Revolution X, I thank you. I really do. I thank you because you've awoken something within me that I've been wanting to tap into for quite some time. I came back because I had unfinished business in the squared circle. I came back because we hear it all the time, that no one ever truly retires from the business. We see it each and every week. The Tully Blanchard's. The Jake The Snake's. The Dustin Runnels'. The Terry Funk's. People who have a lot left to offer in the wrestling business, whether they're in the ring or mentoring new talent. I'm not far off from 31, and I am just getting started. That's where I hold all the cards.
You see Deane, me and you don't know each other very well. Let me introduce myself, I'm Jason Myers. The Bitter One. A Hall Of Famer. Multi-Time World Champion. A Tag Team Specialist. I know a thing or two about being in a faction. It elevated me to a whole new level. I never had any sort of fallout with Reaper or Michaels because I respected them. to damn much. The question is, do you respect DiStoner and Phoenix? Do you have a bond like no other? Or are you merely using one another to get ahead in this industry? The fact is that this can be a tough business to get in. It's even tougher getting to the top and it's inevitable when you reach the top it'll be a long hard fall. Your friends will change. You'll change.
You see as I said to Lilith, you and Phoenix, you're both mere pawns in this game. You're just in the way of me and DiStoner getting our hands on one another and ending this once and for all. I don't know if the IIW Legend's Championship is on the line when we do meet and quite frankly, I don't care. But I do know this. Me and you, we're going to face each other one on one. First time ever, Myers vs. Deane in only my third match back from a decade long sabbatical. Feel honoured because you'll be in the ring with someone who doesn't know the words 'backdown' or 'quit'. They just aren't in my vocabulary.
Deane, you decided to make it personal, but it was made personal because you did what DiStoner told you to do. He's the puppet master for you and Phoenix, he knows how to manipulate people, tell them what they want to hear. But make no mistake about it, I hold you fully accountable for trying to end me the last time I was on Mayhem. But you can hold me fully accountable when I end Revolution X, one by one. This is just the beginning. You're just the first to be eviscerated by my hands, and you've only got one man to thank for that. Your buddy and leader of your little faction. See ya real soon kid''
Myers then gets to his feet as he puts in his earphones and walks off as the scene fades.

We hear 'Wanted, Dead Or Alive' by Bon Jovi as the camera shows 'The Bitter One' Jason Myers and Lilith Morningstar at the XS Radio Station in Greater Manchester being interviewed by host Gareth Brooks;
Gareth: I have with me today two global stars, he goes by the name 'The Bitter One' and his partner in crime, the beautiful Lilith Morningstar. Now Jason, you began wrestling at a fairly young age, is that correct?
Jason: Yeah I was about 17 about to turn 18 when an old buddy of mine told me about the WWA. My grandfather had showed me a lot of wrestling who cared for me from the age of 5 and I remember one day finding a few of his old matches on VHS and I was hooked.
Gareth: Now unfortunately a decade ago your grandfather passed away and your injuries were mounting up. You also had just met your now ex-wife. Did that play a factor in you stepping away from the wrestling business?
Jason: Yeah I mean it was a huge knock on effect. Since I was 17 I wrestled a lot of tough matches. Ric Reaper. Shawn Taylor. Chino. Matt Robinson. Seifer Black. Ryan Omega. Dan DiStoner. I invented Hell's Inferno and I took Matt to the limit in that match, but at that stage it was a case of too much, too young, too fast.
Gareth: Now you mentioned there a name that's being mentioned a lot as of late. Dan DiStoner. You've known him over a decade from your old NWA days but why do you think he's decided to target you?
Jason: I honestly don't know. I mean maybe he's just intimidated that a young chap like myself has decided to make a return and because he's an aging guy he doesn't want the spotlight took from him.
Lilith: Either that or he's just a straight up arsehole who does what he wants, when he wants and thought Jase would be a vulnerable target.
Gareth: That's a good point. Now, much like how the world has been the last 13 months, the wrestling world has been somewhat at a stand still with the pandemic. What's it been like to return to something like pro wrestling in the middle of a global pandemic?
Jason: It's been odd for sure. I watch wrestling religiously, I'm always watching what's going on for inspiration, and I've seen how other companies have managed to carry on this last year.
Gareth: Now this Monday, IIW presents Monday Night Mayhem. You're facing a representative of Revolution X, 'Killer' Kevin Deane. Now I've seen pictures of this guy, he has a massive frame, 6'6, he works out you can tell, but how do you prepare yourself for someone like him?
Jason: I've been in the ring with a lot of guys. My old tag partner, Matt Robinson, Seifer Black, they were two big guys. I just wear them down systematically, I'm more of a technical guy who will pick a target on an opponents body and work it over, so Deane is gonna have a tough time walking away from this one.
Gareth: Now there's a match stipulation isn't there? If you beat Kevin this Monday, both he and Anthony are banned from ringside from your match against Dan DiStoner at the next PPV, is that right?
Jason: Yeah I mean we saw a few weeks back what Revolution X did to me, and I don't care what anyone says I know for a fact they played a hand in running me off the road. Kevin is just the first poor bastard who's going to feel my wrath. Once he's took out of the equation DiStoner won't have anywhere left to run.
Gareth: Alright well this has been an interesting interview. Ladies and gentleman don't forget to tune in to Monday Night Mayhem where we'll see the likes of my guest here today, 'The Bitter One' Jason Myers, the lovely Miss Lilith Morningstar. Jason, it's been a pleasure, before you go do you have a song request?
Jason: Thanks for having me Gareth. You know what, let's go with my theme song, 'The Frayed Ends Of Sanity' by Metallica.
Gareth: Great track. Folks, have a lovely day, up next we have Sophie Sveinsson for an afternoon of interviews and tunes.
As 'The Frayed Ends Of Sanity' kicks in the scene fades.
The scene fades into the arena which hosts Monday Night Mayhem as Myers is in the ring with a sparring partner, Jake Johnston. The two then fist bump as Myers grabs a chair and sits down in the centre of the ring as Johnston grabs a towel and walks off. Myers then stares down the lens of the camera as he speaks;
Myers: Don't think for one second that I'm taking this lightly. I'm treating this with great importance. You see Kevin, I think I've said just about everything there is to say. Don't get me wrong, I am not for one second taking your silence as a hint of cowardice; No, I can tell that you're treating this like it's life or death for you, because you wouldn't want to disappoint your boss now, would you? I mean after the fiasco at Dan's birthday, he is not a man to be crossed with. That is exactly what I want from him. To be severely pissed off, because it's all he ever does to others is piss them off.
But I want your full undivided attention. I want you at maximum focus and maximum effort because when I embarrass you in the centre of that ring this Monday, I do not want to hear any excuses. I do not want to hear any fs or buts, because you're facing the best damn version of Jason Myers. You're stepping into the ring with a man who has been given a new lease on life. I've been given a second chance to do what I love; to do what I do best, and I will not squander it.
You see Deane, you made it personal. But I don't blame you, you're making a name for yourself. On your way to the top, you're gonna step on toes, stab people in the back and piss off a lot of people. Believe me I've been there and done that. I set my best friend ablaze in Hell's Inferno. I've crippled men in that ring, all for Gold and all for Glory. The only way you're going to get to my level, is if you get rid of that dead weight called Dan DiStoner, because come World's Collide, there won't be much left of DiStoner once I've destroyed him.
The clock is ticking on Revolution X. At first I made you three a laughing stock; Kevin Deane, you're the first unfortunate bastard who's about to fall; Anthony Phoenix, I don't know a lot about you but you made it personal as well, so I'll see to you when the time is right; DiStoner, I've said just about everything there is to say about you.
I know the odds aren't exactly in my favour, three against one, what are the chances of my survival? People must be looking at me and thinking I'm an idiot. But I thrive on this sort of thing. I live for it, because all my life I've had the odds stacked up against me every step of the way. Every hurdle, I've overcame.
Guess what? I'm still standing. The deaths in my family haven't stopped me. My mental health hasn't stopped me. My whore of an ex-wife hasn't stopped me. Career threatening injuries haven't stopped me, and a damn pandemic hasn't stopped me. What you each did to me the other week hasn't stopped me either. Be prepared. I know its three against one. But you each best grow eyes in the back of your heads.
I'll be waiting on you come Monday. Bring your A-game, bring all your weapons, bring a Goddamn army, nothing on this earth is going to step in my way of making sure Revolution X is going to be dead and buried once I'm done with all three of you!
A worked up Myers then gets to his feet and exits the ring as the scene fades to black.
