Joseph Manaia sits on a bench at a greyhound bus stop in San Francisco, CA. It's raining hard as you hear the wet sound of drops bounce off the pavement. Joseph sits there wearing a black hoodie and some black jean pants on with sneakers. A black sports bag sits to the side of him.
He reaches into the bag and pulls out a picture of an older Samoan man that in the top corner reads Bosa.
Joseph- Why did you do it dad we were making enough money for the wrestling. You dishonored the family name and left me and mom to pick up the pieces. I was only a boy, not a man. I had no idea had to lead at a young age but you left me no choice.
You choose the wrong path even though I know your heart was in the right place you were only thinking about me and mom and how to continue to put up the illusion you had created for us. Growing up I thought my father was a wrestling icon a man people respected and maybe they did at one point but after your crimes, why you were on tour. it was a disgrace that our family name could recover and now I sit here waiting on a bus to take me to Manchester because no other promotion in the States would accept me because my last name that it's attached to you.
The greyhound bus starts to slowly pull up as Joseph stands up with bags in hand.
Joseph- So now I'm on my way to IIW own and operated by a man name Osh Vaughan who doesn't really know much about our family history and I like that it's a chance for me to rebuild what you have destroyed. God has allowed me to write out my own history and at the same time to repair a part of history that's disgust.
Soon I will arrive in the lands of Kings and Queens. Where the competition is stacked and there are no bottom feeders. Soon everyone will know to respect The Mad Samoan Joseph Manaia as I will soon arrive and conquer everyone they put in front of me. I will win as many matches and Championships as it will bring to restore honor to my family names. Superstars of IIW prepare theirs a Mad Samoan on the loose.
