He is sitting near the fireplace, with a book in his hands, looking calm and tranquil. The kindling cracks while the flames take over, slowly. Eron Hunter seems to be enjoying this Wednesday evening, his whole body seems to be relaxed and his mind at ease. He looks at the camera and starts speaking in his usual peaceful tone.
“Another day, another fight
…FCPW is no more, and quite some talent has moved over to IIW, with them, the former Vagabond, Eron Hunter; been a Vagabond for most of my young years, jumping from one place to the other, from one country to the next, within days.
And even though I consider myself a Vagabond no more, there are forced translocations which a man can not foresee or hinder at will. No one could foresee FCPW´s quick demise. The powers that be could not hinder its downfall.
And thus I find myself signing with IIW. I was a champion over at FCPW, and while people will say that those successes mean nothing here, they mean something for me. They show that I have the right skill and talent. The talent needed to perish the competition, more times than not.
That´s what I foresee will happen in my next fight.
Eron Hunter VS Anthony Tudor
Not much to say about Tudor, besides the fact that he´s a giant of a man, with a bad attitude. Not much to care about him too. I guess his star will not shine for long enough to be remembered. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe not.
Time will be the tale-teller.
Will Anthony Tudor fight for long enough, to be remembered by the IIW fans? Or will he just vanish into nothingness, just like a whole plethora of other fighters have done before him? God knows and God does not exist.
I have had my share of fights against people with anger management problems, and my share of fights against people with bad attitudes. Last one I remember? The fight against JT Maverick. The kid called himself a prodigy…
I called him a flake!
Guess who was right?
I heard JT Maverick had his fight, or two, in here too, and vanished without a trace, ever after. Will Anthony Tudor be of the same substance? Will he have a temper tantrum and throw everything away, at the same moment he is handed a loss from the hands of yours truly? Or will he be able to swallow his pride, not choking at it, gather his stuff and try everything from scratch?
Only time will tell…
…and time is not friendly with those that do not use it well.
As far as I am concerned, I fight every fight as if it was my last day on earth. I try to give one hundred percent each time, because God only knows what will happen tomorrow, and as I said, God does not exist.
Or maybe I am a bit wrong, God does exist, we all are gods!
Responsible for our own lives and our successes and demises; we are the architects of our existence and the result depends on our efforts. Our life depends on the sacrifices we make, to achieve what we want, in this life of ours.
That´s how I live my life.
That´s how I consider my existence to be; dependant on my own two hands and my brain and passion I pour in each moment of my time. That´s how I fight my fights too. With passion and fervor, every god damn time I enter a ring.
I am a fighter, born.
A warrior of the modern era.
And Anthony Tudor will get to feel that feeling- the feeling you have when you sense you are facing divine competition- the same moment he enters the ring and faces yours truly. Anthony Tudor will have to give one hundred and ten percent, in the ring, if he wants to survive for more than five minutes in there, against Eron Hunter.
I treat each fight with the same passion. Be it a fight against a champion or a chump. Because humans are unpredictable, they can surprise you, and themselves, within the blink of an eye. If I do not treat my upcoming fight with respect, well I do not respect myself, then. I respect each fight the same way, be it the main event or a dark match.
Because if you are not prepared to face the worst, in the best possible way, you are bound to fail and fail miserably, and that, dear Anthony Tudor, is something I do not like doing”
Eron looks at the camera as he closes his book.
This Promotional video is over.
Time for a rest.

"One...Two...Three...Four! That will do, whats next?"
"I suggested you do more than two push ups bro."
"Two push ups?! I did four, four! Learn to see."
"A single push up is the up and down bit together bro."
"That doesn't sound right."
Anthony Tudor is at the gym. This is where he belongs. Although Anthony is a professional wrestler and a self proclaimed "Oncoming Storm", he hasn’t quite been at it recently so he’s gone back to basics to start building on his amazing immaculate body in an attempt to change how things are going. He’s back now with his old trainer Adam Meslier
"What do you know about exercise? Nothing bro. Give me ten push ups, now!"
"Alright, you don't have to shout, geez."
Anthony then does ten full pushups as demanded. Immediately after finishing the tenth he hops onto his feet.
"This is boring, when can I get in the ring again?"
"When you've warmed up."
"Its 1000 degrees in here, I'm warm enough already."
"Not that kind of warm bro."
"Oh? What other kind of warm is there?"
"You gotta warm up the muscles bro! You're a professional wrestler, why do I even have to tell you all this?!"
"Because I don't need to exercise to be the greatest most devastating wrestler in the whole wide world!"
"O. Why you here today then?"
"Because I Didn’t show up to the PPV at World’s Collide."
"...Okay? Why didn’t you?"
"Because I didn't feel like it, I felt these men Dean Brady and the other useless individual Kevin Deane? Were below me, and it shows, neither of them are around today!”
“That is true, but it was a good opportunity to get another big win under your belt”
“True”
“Since you beat Adam Bradley…sorry destroyed Adam Bradley, it hasn’t been quite as clear sailing for you has it?”
“No, not really”
“Well this is a good chance to avenge that, facing off against Eron Hunter, a debutant, coming in from that hole of FCPW, you can do this”
“Damn right I can, I’M THE ONCOMING STORM”
“Then you need to prove it”
1 hour later.
"Come on bro! You can do it, push!"
And here we are again. It appears Anthony has been doing some work, as hes currently sitting all sweaty and red on that leg machine, as unlike many gym users, Anthony refuses to skip leg day.
"I can't, its too hard!"
"You can bro, you have the power!"
"I have the power! Grrrr!"
Anthony then uses his power, and is able to do one maneuver on the leg machine
"Yes bro! Now do it again!"
"I can't!"
Anthony then closes his eyes tight, before channelling his inner machismo, and is able to carry out five impressive "leg lifts" at a rather fast speed. He then lets out another loud Grrrr! before hopping off the leg machine.
"Leg day done, now I wanna lift!"
"You wanna lift bro?!"
"I wanna lift bro! I wanna lift that one
"Lets do it bro, go grab those one that says 100 lbs!"
Anthony then runs over to the 100 lbs dumbbell and lifts it high in the air before holding it in place, surprising himself and Adam in the process. Strong people would be proud! However suddenly without warning the dumbbell lifting Anthony slowly but surely begins to fall to the floor, hitting the ground with a hard thud once grounded. Ow.
"Ow. That really hurt."
"Awh bro, at least you got it in the air for a little bit."
"You're right, I did! And no one was expecting that, just like no one will expect me to beat Eron this Monday!"
"Don't preach to me, preach to that camera over there."
Anthony then turns to face that camera over there, before wiping the sweat from his face in preparation for an on the spot, unrehearsed promo!
"This Monday night live in Manchester I, The ONCOMING STORM Anthony Tudor will shut up all the peoples that think I'm a crappy wrestler when I pin newbie Eron Hunter 1-2-3 in the middle of that IIW ring!
Anthony then stares into the camera with an intense glare, as Adam slow claps in the background. What a supportive friend.

The room is dimly lit.
There is a table in one corner of the room. Two or three ashtrays above it, they all seem to be full with cigarette tails. Eron Hunter is sitting on a chair, near the table, smoking his cigarette. The small, red, firelight throws a fickle light in the room, and draws a trajectory, as Eron´s hand moves up and down. The young man inhales and exhales, slowly, one more time, and then begins speaking in his usual tranquil tone.
“The gym is where Anthony Tudor is at, doing pushups and sandbag lifting, trying to sound fierce and original. Well, Anthony, I will let you in a little secret. A secret I told JT Maverick too; the world is full of fighters who spend an hour or two days in the gym.
That doesn´t make you original. Nor does it make you fiercer than many other wannabe wrestlers, who disappear before an eye blink is concluded. I see you, Anthony Tudor, and I see no substance, no will to be the best or spirit enough to be called a recognizable warrior.
I am sorry to say this, Tudor, but I think your star will not shine for long enough to be remembered by anyone. Not a single fan will be there looking for you, or your matches, after you are done with wrestling.
There is something more awful than being bad, or not being the best, and that awful thing is…
… Mediocrity!
Mediocrity, the art of being shallow, is one of the sins a fighter and a common man can commit in this world. Not being good or bad, being something between slime and snot, not being here or there in terms of motivation and skill. Mediocrity is when you do something for forty years and no one even remembers that you have been there.
Like the man that goes to his job for four decades, walking the same path every day, back and forth, doing the same crap, eating the same lunch, executing the same maneuvers, doing the same thing for a lifetime, and then waking up one day to see you´ve spent your life at being…
…well, mediocre!
It´s a Sin!
A life thrown away.
A wasted existence.
That´s what you are, Anthony Tudor, and you won´t be getting better.
You are so middle-of-the-road, you can´t even research an opponent who says he´s been a champion somewhere. All you can do is call your opponent a noob because he´s been here merely for a split second.
Well, Tudor, there´s a cure for noobism, and that, my friend, is experience. Even if I was a noob, in this business, I have all the time in the world, to get better. I have enough time to fight match after match, gather experience, and stop being a noob in IIW. And that´s what I plan on doing.
And you?
What do you plan on doing, to beat that average attitude o yours? Do you plan on doing three push-ups? Or maybe you plan on starting to be funny? To be a clown? Well, you´re not funny either. You´re just plain boring.
There is no cure for someone like you. You just have to find another thing to do, to excel, something you´re good at. Do not ask me what that is, I do not know, I can´t help you find your path in life, the only thing I can do is make you understand that this wrestling life is not something for you.
Well, if you want to be god, at least.
You can also accept the fact that you´re mediocre and settle for it. Not everyone can be a Muhammad Ali. Some people just have to be average at best, in what they do. They fulfill the role given to them; that of a punching bag and live their life happily ever after.
Do you plan on settling for that life?
Yes?
Well, at least you have a secure paycheck at the end of the month. That´s something some people do not have at all. Some people hunger in this world. People who are paid a dollar per hour. Used and abused by the system.
At least you´re not one of them.
You´re well paid and can afford the most expensive seats in a theatre.
That´s something not every average joe can say about themselves.
So? Are you happy with your existence?
If so, just get ready for another beating from the hands of a noob.
Get ready to experience a fight as you´ve never seen before, executed by a newcomer in IIW.
See you in the ring. Tudor.”
Eron takes some deep drags from his cigarette, as the scene slowly fades to black.
