The sun is bright like a warm summer day in July and the air is crisp like a McDonalds sprite we arrive to the opening scene in Macon, Ga at The North East Highschool home of the Patriots. Behind the building and down the hill a young man is seen running laps on the school’s track and field. He wears a shirt that has the sleeves cut off and wears Nike sport shorts with Nike airmax shoes on. His shirt is soaked in sweat giving evidence that he had been out there a while. The back of his shirt has the school Patriot soldier printed on the back and the front reads Hustle, Loyalty, Respect. The school moto dates to the 90’s not many people know who started it, but it’s stuck with the school ever since.
The young man continues to run his laps with fierce intensity pushing himself harder with each step he takes after a few more minutes of intense training Johnny sits down on a bench and takes a gulp of his smart water. He holds his head down and pours the cold water on his head as he tries to cool down. When he lifts his head an older gentleman with a Northeast Patriot hats on with a matching shirt and khaki pants with and new balance sneakers with a clipboard in his hand. He smirks as he walks up and claps his hands together before he speaks.
Coach David- Well I’ll be damn I heard the rumors in the teacher lounge as I was working on my playbook for the upcoming football season, but everyone just kept saying that The Franchise was here working out today because he just got signed to some fancy promotion across seas in Manchester UK. Johnny I’m proud of you.
Johnny stands up and smiles as him and the coach have a friendly embrace.
Johnny- Coach David, I see you ain’t retired yet and thank you Coach on the congratulation’s I couldn’t have gotten there with you coaching me in football and wrestling of course, but yes, the dream has been achieved Ill finally get to perform in front a live crowd and for a professional wrestling company.
Coach David- You deserve it… no you earned that spot son you did everything the right way you’ve stayed out of trouble even though in this town most kids would fall for the streets, but you stayed focused and kept on your path and you stayed loyal, you hustled every day, and earn not only the schools respect but the whole city is behind you Franchise. You are Mr. Hustle, Loyalty, Respect and if you stay true to yourself and values, you’ll make it in…. Matter of fact Franchise what’s the name of the promotion you’re going to?
Johnny- Oh my bad its IIW they air on Netflix supposed to be the cream of the top when it comes to today’s wrestling. The internet wrestling community says they get new age wrestling and still have that old school feel to it so I’m excited to be going there and working with such great people.
Coach David- Well son that’s great I ain’t watched any pro wrestling in a while WWE got stale a couple years ago but Ill check out that IIW. I guess now I’ll must get a Netflix account now to watch the show.
Coach David laughs to himself.
Coach David- Well look at you Johnny, you’ve already got them another set of eyes on the product, and you haven’t even stepped in the ring yet.
Johnny- Thanks for the compliments coach but you know me so its easy to get you to watch me on tv, but to really make it in the wrestling industry you need to make a connection with the fans and be open to learning the industry the right way.
Johnny phone starts going off in his sports bag as an alert from Wrestling inc.com comes to his phone. He reads over the message as Nick Wright the article writer has posted a promo video from that of Jason Ryan as Johnny is just now finding out he’s been booked in a triple threat match against Jason and Das Ungrhever. Johnny’s face lights up with excitement as his Coach tries to look over his shoulder to see what all the fuss about.
Coach David- Now what’s got you al wild up boy.
Johnny- Coach I just found I’ve been booked in my first match a triple threat against some tough competition and not only that someone did a promo on me like this is surreal I’m used to watching guys shoot on each other know it’s happening me… Oh man I got to work on my own promo oh man this is going to be exciting.
Johnny shows the video to the coach as they watch Jason Ryan’s video. Coach David makes a face and hands the phone back to Johnny.
Coach- Well that Youngman sure doesn’t know anything about respect and by frankly I don’t really like his attitude. I hope you teach him the values that true men are built on.
Johnny- Yeah, he doesn’t seem like the respectful type but that’s ok I’m sure if I go in there and give it my all and leave everything in the ring win or lose Ill earned everyone’s respect in the locker room and most importantly the fans. A lot of guys forget about us fans well I guess I’m not a fan anymore, but I understand the position they sit in you root for a guy like Jason Ryan you follow his story and journey. You share the memories with him and when they finally make it to the top and start main eventing and getting commercial deals they leave the fans behind, but not me coach I’m going to always remember what’s important its always the little thing that matter the most and in my debut match I’m coming in hot and going to show Jason and Das that even though their both veterans of the game have the experience over me I’m going to show them my heart beats like a soldier and my passion is that of a warrior and come Mayhem I’m bringing the Hustle Loyalty and Respect with me.
Coach David starts clapping and pats Johnny on the back.
Coach David- Well said Franchise I’ll let you get back to training and I’ll be tuning in to IIW for your debut match good luck son.
They give each other a quick hug as Coach David walks off and Johnny starts packing his bags as he smiles looking up into, he skies as the scene ends.

Yet another day, yet another cheap knock off. In fact, this time around we have two for the price of one. One guy who wishes he was John Cena and another who wishes he were Randy Orton. But wish in one hand, shit in the other and see which fills up first. I never longed to be anything other than what I am, a heartless, soulless monster with no compassion, no mercy and the ability to endlessly destroy all who foolishly get into my path without losing a wink of sleep over it. At the moment, I am nowhere, absolutely nowhere, just empty black nothingness similar to a dreamless sleep or an endless abyss of never ending total encompassing darkness. I have yet to make my IIW debut and will not be seen or directly heard from until I actually appear on the Monday Night June 12 edition of Monday Night Mayhem. I shall make my presence felt when I destroy both Johnny Franchise and Jason Ryan. My manager and Uncle is going to do my talking for me until I appear on that particular show and of course you will be treated to some highlight footage of my exploits in other promotions prior to arriving here. Suddenly you are transported to my uncle the legendary Mr. Tees who sports a royal blue suit with a golden color silk dress shirt sans a tie, black wingtip dress shoes and a pair of avatar sunglasses brown. Tees is standing against a rather simplistic backdrop that simply has the Syndicate Logo on what appears to be a very old school, 1980’s interview set where wrestlers would traditionally speak about upcoming live event matches and cut promos on their opponents. Wasting little to no time Tees immediately addresses the camera and begins speaking on my behalf.
Tees: Just when I thought I was “out” they pulled me back in. Seriously, I have Terry Funk beat for the most “retirements” that ended up not taking. I find myself back in the game yet again, once more leading the original and strongest version of the Syndicate and this time in IIW. It feels like “home” but I have never been here before, it is indeed rather strange.
Tees takes a sip of water and continues.
Tees: On Monday June 12, my monster Das Ungeheuer will be the first of us to make his IIW debut when he takes on Johnny Franchise and Jason Ryan in the opening match? I mean seriously people, my client and nephew is a former World and Tag Team Champion and they have him jerking the curtain? Well, no matter any match my client, my monster, my nephew is in becomes the main event. He is going to start things off by obliterating both Jason Ryan and Johnny Franchise in short order like only he can. Neither man will ever be seen or heard from again but he’ll make them famous adding them to his ever growing list of victims.
Tees: When last many of you saw me in First Class Pro Wrestling, I was being carted off on a stretcher after that sorry sack of dog shit the Wraith stuck a knife in my back. Well allow me to happily say that Das Ungeheuer is in fact the entity that put the Wraith six feet under and sent his soul into the fiery abyss. The Wraith is no more and it’s all thanks to the monster that works for me and is a proud card carrying member of my Syndicate. I know you are all waiting with bated breath to see and hear from my client directly but it isn’t going to happen until he makes his debut.. you see that’s what a debut is rather what it’s supposed to be when you see someone you’ve never seen or heard from before for the very first time. Trust me, it’ll be worth the wait and he’ll give you one heck of a show ripping both of his opponents limb from limb like only he can. If you like violence and gore you’ll love what my client does to these two men. Add more people into this match if you like my client doesn’t care. He’s destroyed gangs and armies, nothing and no one is capable of stopping him. He is going to prove that not all monsters are make believe and nightmares really can and often do come true. Both of you asstwats have been warned and the bells now toll for the both of you… and when bells start tolling… heads start rolling.
Fade out with Tees laughing manically.

Johnny Franchise heads into the IIW building wearing a black sleeveless shirt and black gym shirts with new balance sneakers on. He walks by a few IIW staff members as the work urgently to get the show ready for tonight. Johnny continues to walk around backstage until he finds the locker room section for the men. Its empty and he goes inside and takes a seat as he tries to take it all in that his wrestling journey begins tonight in his debut match. A knock comes from the door as Michael Morrison walks in to introduce himself.
Michael- Hey I’m Michael Morrison one of the top interviewers in IIW and if you are Johnny Franchise, I have a few questions that I and the IIW universe would like to get some answers too.
Johnny- Yes That’s me and I always have time for the fans of IIW so shoot the questions away sir.
Michael- Very Good so tell the IIW universe on who you are and what we can expect from you in IIW?
Johnny- Well I was once a fan like many of the IIW universe and still am. I’ve been training for a couple years now and this will be my first big break getting into the wrestling scene and you can expect to be go out there to entertain the fans and give them their money worth every time I step into that ring.
Michael- Well I’m sure the fans will love that, and you won’t have to wait long to impress them in this ring as you make your in-ring debut against Das and Jason Ryan and one of your opponents in Das and his manger Tee’s has some choice words to say about you let’s look.
A video of Tee’s comments play over the big screen as Johnny looks on and takes in every word. After a few moments, the video stops.
Michael- How do you respond?
Johnny- Well I understand Tee’s been in this industry and understand what it takes to be a star in this business, and I be a fool to dismiss his comments as just hate or jealously because what he says is true. I did idolize John Cena growing up and maybe I do in body some of his traits, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing or makes me any less of a wrestler then anyone else in the locker room. I’m not trying to be the next no one I’m trying to be the first Johnny Franchise and sure other guys will look down on me for being so respectful and a man of honor, but they’ll have to get use to it because I’m not going anywhere win, lose, or draw Johnny Franchise is here to stay.
Michael- Fiery stuff right there Johnny now before we go tell us why you think you’ll win this match up?
Johnny- Well I be a fool to guarantee a win because nothing in life is given but if I had to choose what would give me the best chance to come out on top. I would have to say my drive to win and never give up no matter the obstacle. Sure, Das is a monster and Jason have more experience them me, but I’ve got heart and there’s nobody that can stop me when I’m focused and have a task at hand to accomplish. So, to Jason and Das I look forward to seeing you there tonight and even proven you guys wrong about me.
Michael- Thank you for your time Johnny that’s all the questions I have for you tonight we will leave you be so you can get ready for your match.
Michael walks out the locker room as Johnny Franchise puts on some headphones as he waits for his match.

A video airs depicting highlights of Das Ungeheuer’ more devastating performances in promotions outside of IIW, the usual type stuff, Das Ungeheuer decimating opponents, putting people through tables, throwing them off stages, executing Das Gewaltsame Ende (The Violent End) and of course TodeshÃndler (Death Dealer) on many an opponent, many of whom you do not know, others you may know and some who look familiar but you cannot place them. All the while his entrance theme ['Mein Teil'] by Rammstein plays over the promotional footage. Toward the end the words “coming soon” appear across a still image of Das Ungeheuer standing in an intimidating pose with a stoic expression giving way to an angry expression as if he’d like to murder someone across his face. This image gives way to Mr. Tees sitting in his office. Tees is at his desk wearing a royal blue pinstripe suit with a cream colored dress shirt, sans a tie, he also sports a matching fedora and although you can’t see it as he is seated behind a large oak desk, Tees is wearing an alligator skin belt (black) and matching black wingtips. Around Tees there are several trophy cases displaying championship titles and awards that he has won personally as well as accolades that have been won by clients of his during his long and illustrious career as a manager outside of the ring.
Tees: Peons, peasants and piss-ants welcome again to my humble abode. It is an honor and a privilege for you to be here and the pleasure is entirely yours, but I digress. I hope you enjoyed that rather impressive video package depicting some of my client’s best work outside of IIW. This is the most you will see of him prior to his debut on Monday evening June 14th. If you thought that package was something, you haven’t seen anything yet. My client is bigger, badder, nastier, meaner, more focused, more intense, more determined and more demented than he has ever been before. He didn’t come here for shits and giggles or for the scenery, he came here to dominate, hurt, maim, cripple people and win World Championships. He’s going to begin his ascent toward the top at the expense of Jason Ryan and Johnny Franchise on this particular Monday evening.
Tees takes a swig from a glass of bourbon before continuing. Tees: Johnny Franchise you seem to have guts, too bad they’ll be all over the mat, you also have heart too bad it’ll be torn from your chest and thrown out into the fourth row and you have balls, too bad they’ll be ripped off and shoved down your throat. You definitely have more courage than sense getting yourself into a match like this with someone like my client. Believe it or not John Boy, this is not personal. My client is a sick individual, right now you really don’t mean a thing to him, it’s just another day at the office for the living, breathing monster. But should you choose to make this personal, he has no problem crossing that line. Tees: And Jason Ryan as for you, no one has seen hide nor hair of you since this match was announced. What’s the matter cat got your tongue? Or perhaps do you have more sense than Franchise and you are somewhere hiding and cowering in fear of the real life monster? Whatever the case may be, should you choose to show up on Monday June 14th, my client has plenty of misery and terror in store for you as well. We wouldn’t want you to feel left out or cheated. I heard that as a child you used to have this recurring nightmare about being brutally beaten to a bloody pulp in front of a live audience, carried off on a gurney and being put in a full body cast, well as they say “nightmare’s really can and often do come true.” You and Johnny Franchise will indeed live on much in the same way that those destroyed victims have in future video packages depicting my client’s sheer brutality and dominance. No one will forget your names as they will live on whenever anyone mentions my client’s devastating debut on Monday Night Mayhem. And here’s one for you “Who are the two men who were eviscerated by Das Ungeheuer in his first ever IIW match?” give up? Jason Ryan and Johnny Franchise. Tees: Remember gentlemen not all monsters are make believe. Pleasant dreams (laughs manically)
