Violins play in the background as a soft piano tone chimes in with it flowing together to create a beautiful melody as the scene starts to appear we open to inside The Manor of The Prestige. Jesse James sits in a black comfy chair with gold lining as he sits at a chess table playing across from his brother Mike James as both men are dressed in tailored made suits as Mark Lawson stands besides Mike wearing a black tank top that shows off his massive build why wearing dressed pants and black dressed shoes. Jesse makes a move on the board as the camera turns to his face.
Jesse- You know gentleman what happened last week can never happen again. Now I don't blame you two as much as I do myself.
Mark and Mike nod their head as Mike takes his turn to make his move on the board.
Jesse- I sent you two out there alone against very cohesive unit in The Celtic Club I won't make mistakes as a leader I underestimated them but more importantly we underestimated them and It came back and bit us in the ass I won't allow that to happens again. I cannot stomach failure like we did in the past I won't let it be something we just let brush by and don't acknowledge how to get better as a group. Those days are over so I except better results next time you two lock horns with another tag team. You better not only beat them you better dominate like the best tag team I know you can be I won't you to leave no doubt in the minds of the fans and all the tag teams in the division that The Prestige are the foundation in which this company stands on! We are the Pinnacle of success.
Jesse makes his move on the board as Charles The Butler brings them three cups of wine on a silver tray that so shiny reflect the lights from the chandelier back at it.
Jesse- Thank you Charles for being so great at your job you seem to be the only one that can get a job done around here right.
Jesse looks at Mike and Mark as he sips his wine and returns to face the camera.
Jesse- Now Cav I salute you on a masterful planning but don't celebrate to early my good friend why you and The Celtic Club may have gotten a victory over us it was a small one in a long war ahead. I want you to known this isn't over by a long shot you won't get to ride off into the sunset and brag how you got one over on Jesse James oh no sir that's not how that works but just know I'll be seeing you and the leprechaun club later down the road but right now I must turn my attention to a new advisory or should I say old nemesis.
Jesse takes another sip of his wine as he passed then continues speaking.
Jesse- You see the fans and many others have forgotten the crime that took place at KKnD. I know it seems like so long ago, but the outcome of the Keys 2 Success match still replays repeatedly in my head. Even after Bob had us locked and why I did think about I was going to get payback on Bob I more importantly thought long and hard how I was going to make Scotty Adams suffer and regret for ever stealing my destiny from me and what makes me even more irritate is that Scotty forgot all about me why I was gone he used his little Key to open up him a World Title match and what did he go out there in do? He went out there and got out classes by Jake and ended looking like a fool for ever thinking he was on Jakes level just how I know he not on mine.
Now Jake you should be thanking the God themselves that Scotty cheated his way to the top and you ended up with him as an opponent except for me because has it been me your reign would've came to an end no more would you have been the face of the programs with your special customize t-shirts in the merchandise stands it would be me the fans would be cheering on as the new face of the company bringing in a new era of Prestige but like I said you got lucky because Scotty decide to steal my moment when I was just inches away from bring down the key when he decided to change the course of history and not for the better as you can see.
So now Scotty I’ve return to IIW... No to my kingdom in which I was born to rule in and I'll will achieve my goal as if it was my birth right by first rewriting the wrong I let you write because on Mayhem it’s going to be me and you and I know what the people been saying Scotty needs this win and this could be his bounce back match but I'm sorry to tell you that the only think that will be bouncing is your head off the canvas when I hit you with a Perfection. Now I know you don't like people like me Scotty, I know you think less of people like me that reach for the stars. If I remember correctly, you enjoy the little things and simple life with your lovely girlfriend Bianca that's what matter the most to you not this business that many men like myself pour years of blood, sweat, and tears into and no I'm not saying you haven't I'm just saying you don't do enough of it. Your time and focus are divided and that's why you couldn't win the big won when it matters the most. When it was all one the line and the Championship was right there you let it slip right through hour hands.
Mike makes his move on the board as Jesse lights up a Cuban cigar. He takes a few puffs then returns to the camera.
Jesse- So now you've climbed the ladder and fallen right back down to the abyss in which you belong and I'll make you stay down there after our match on Mayhem because this is not just about revenge or proving to my guys Mark and Mike that I am the right man to lead the Prestige it's about proving to everyone including you that when Scotty Adams goes one on one with Jesse James in a one on one match up with no weapons or extra guys to cause distraction. The results will show that I am that damn good and that the talent level between is far more widening then people expect and after I'm done putting you on your place Scotty I'll move on from you and climb up the ladder and claim my spot as the main attraction here in IIW and you'll be forgotten just a foot note in my career.
Jesse makes his final move on the board capturing the Mikes queen and ending the macth.
Jesse- And just like that it will be check mate at Mayhem.
Jesse raises his glass to the camera as the scene cuts out and goes dark.

Scott- Jesse, you are the one who asked for this. Not me. You are irrelevant to me, as much as that might hurt your ego. As much as that might cause you to feel as if you are meaningless, I could not care less about you. Or that little clique you run along with.
I state this, as I sit alone, within the confines of my mini studio. Simply glancing into the camera.
Scott- You are the one who cannot get over the fact that you failed at KKND and I was the one who claimed the key. That I was the one who knocked you off the ladder and sent you crashing to the mat below. I mean, what was I supposed to do, let you win? Let you indulge your ego and prance around like a king? Sorry, I wasn't gonna let that shit happen. At all. Why should I have, either?
I then shrug. Curious as to what Jesse is trying to get at.
Scott- If you truly wanted to reap the rewards. The shot that the key afforded, then you should have grasped it for yourself.
I pause, softly smiling.
Scott- I get it, nobody likes to lose. I can tell you that myself. I hate losing, and yes, I'm well aware I've lost the last 2 times I have set foot between the ropes. Yet the difference is, I don't blame anyone else for those losses but myself. On those nights, I just wasn't good enough. I wasn't able to get the job done and the blame for that rest solely on these shoulders. I accept that. I embrace that.
I begin slowly tapping my foot on the ground, as I softly hum.
Scott- And I plan on ensuring that next time I get the chance to step into the ring with either Tyler or Jake, the tune played is the one in my favour. For if there is something to take from defeat, it is a better understanding of that particular opponent. Their tendencies. What their weaknesses truly are and how I can tweak my stategy to better apply my knowlege in any following bouts. See how that works, Jesse? It's called accepting and acknowleging ones own errors.
I laugh.
Scott- Something you have failed to do. Something you continue to fail at doing, each time you ramble on about how I supposedly stole the key from you. Or well, you admitting that you didn't even know how the stipulation worked and as such, allowed yourself to be taken advantage of. Though I'm impressed toy actually know what this matches stipulation means.
Giving him a golf clap, I recline further back.
Scott- Yet what you fail to, or simply refuse to, comprehend is that it plays right into my hands. See, I live in this enviroment. I don't need or desire anyone to come out and aid me. I don't need or desire to use weapons to win a match.
I shake my head.
Scott- No. All I need is myself between those ropes. Nor do I need to go out there and prove I am a "leader" or convince people of that. Real leaders don't. It is those who have no idea of what leadership truly entails that need to validate their assertions. That need to be reassured that they are the thing they claim to be. To try and hammer that information into their own heads, so that they can attempt to disguise how fragile they truly are. To try and lay claim to a title, so as to fill a void burning within them.
I take a deep breath, allowing the next words to fester within my mind, as a soft breath floats from my lips.
Scott- A passage that I have wandered down myself. I've been in your shoes before, Jesse. I know what it's like to feel lost. To feel as if you need to claim you're a leader. That you are this figure that people should respect, simply because you desire to fit in. Simply because that is how you have been taught.
I poke the air, as if I was bursting a bubble or a balloon.
Scott- But I guess I have to be the one to inform you that isn't how reality operates. You don't just get to give yourself a title and expect people to respect it. Or to recognise you as being such, until you prove it with your actions. See, as I have always stated --- words are meaningless, until the moment they are backed up with acts.
I shoot my famed half-smile.
Scott- Luckily for you, you have that chance at Mayhem. The opportunity to validate your claims. Show the world that you have turned over a new leaf. That you are precisely what you claim to be. Problem is, I am the one standing in your way of doing so.
Just then, the door to the studio creaks open, as Bianca walks in. Carrying a green coffee mug. Gently placing it down atop the oak table in front of me.
Scott- Thanks babe.
She gently smiles.
Bianca- You're welcome. Also, Alana called to say that your order has been submitted and should be sent out in the next few days.
Scott- Alright, thanks. I'll be back in shortly.
She then turns and begins to walk back out of the room, leaving me to get back to the primary topic of discourse.
Scott- Now, where was I? That's right. I was reminding Jesse of the fact that I am the frontier. The monolith if you wish to call it that, which he must traverse if he wishes to validate his statements. If his true desire is to showcase just how he is a leader. And not merely a sheep who wishes he were a wolf. Or a beta who wishes he were an alpha as the kids these days would say. It falls upon you to keep me sprialling into the abyss, as you said. Otherwise, your words. Your little fanciful statements --- well, they become as meaningless and empty as a speck of dirt. Laying on the ground.
I then put on a more sarcastic inflection.
Scott- And you wouldn't want that to happen, would you?
Picking up the mug, I slowly begin to pour its contents --- iced coffee in this case, down my throat. Gulping it, I feel the liquid soothe and lubricate my throat as it slides down before I let out a gentle 'ahem', clearing my throat.
Scott- I will see you at Mayhem, Jesse. Bring your running mates if you wish. It will not matter.
I then stand up and begin to slowly walk out of the studio. My statement having been made. At least for now.
END.

The scene opens to the sound of glass shattering as the it switches to the inside of The Prestige Manor as Jesse James is seen standing over his desk as he watches Scotty’s Adams response on YouTube. A shattered glass cup is seen on the floor as Charles The Butler walks in.
Jesse- Clean that shit up!
Charles hurries up and cleans up the glass as Jesse lights up a cigar and ties his hair back and looks back Charles.
Jesse- On your way out fetch me my brother Mike we need to discuss my match coming up.
Charles nods his head and walks out a little frighten by what he just seen Jesse James turns to the camera as Charles exits the room.
Jesse- That was so not prestigious of me I must admit Scotty Adams got me a little rattled I wont lie He talks down to me like I’m some child and he’s the adult. He talks down to me like he’s a main event player here in IIW. He talks down to ME! Likes he’s better then ME! Let me educate Scotty Adams and anybody else watching right now. When I first got here to IIW Scotty Adams was a veteran here in IIW that people said had potential. Let that sink into your heads for a moment he is a veteran of IIW one of the few pioneers of this company and they still talk about potential.
Jesse takes a few puffs from his cigar before returning to the camera.
Jesse- This man time has come and gone but he refuses to let the new blood like myself reach our potential because he’s veteran still looking for his crowning moment, but that time never comes for Scotty Adams because he does have it factor to be the best in this company. He can’t draw the fans in with his boring character as he tries to be so laid back and act like life doesn’t affect him when we all know when the camera cuts off and your alone with Bianca your failures hunt your mind and Bianca must keep telling herself it will be ok his time is coming when she knows deep down inside, you’re a loser who can never get the job done.
Which is why it sickens me that you stole my opportunity and yes It was stolen because that was my time to usher this company into the new era, but guys like you Scotty failures at life always have to try and get out of position an that’s exactly what you did when you knocked me off that ladder and why I did fall my fall wasn’t nearly as crushing as yours was at Worlds Collide.
Mike walks in the door as Jesse takes a puff of his cigar and Jesse motions Mike to come on in and take a seat.
Mike- You needed me brother.
Jesse- Yes do you remember when we were locked up in prison and people were talking about IIW’s PPV Worlds Collide.
Mike- Yeah, they were going crazy talking about the hype for the Team Bob vs Team Osh match up.
Jesse- Exactly Mike thank you see Scotty nobody in the wrestling business gave a damn about the World Title match because everyone knew the outcome of the match when it was announced Jake would retain and send you back to the back of the line where you belong. You know what Scotty winning the K2S match was the worst thing that could’ve ever happen to you finally got a taste of what it was like to actually be successful and you grew the big head thinking you was actually on Jakes level or mines for that and then reality struck at Worlds Collide Jesse James return and Jake exposed you for the afterthought you are and I’m going to be the one that makes sure you stay at the bottom as of matter fact after our match you’ll be lucky enough to get a title shot for the Hardcore Championship and the pass them out like cady. Now Mike tells Jesse why he won’t win this match.
Mike- Well for one lets clear the air on some things Scotty you seem to think you beat Jesse in a one on one match but no sir their was four other men in that match doing damage and making Jesse have to focus his energy and many different ways now why you did secure the key and knocked Jesse off the ladder I didn’t see any referee make a three count I didn’t see you pin Jesse in the middle of the ring in one on one match up with no interference with no weapons to help you Scotty because in a one match with my brother and yes my leader there is nobody that can best him in a match. You’re good Scotty and unlike Jesse I recognize your talent and what you’ve done but Jesse is right time is up son. It’s a new blood of IIW superstars in this business and we about to get you up out of here or at least on combat with Simon Star that be a good role for you Scotty because after Worlds Collide its clear you don’t belong anywhere near the top because if you was a great s you think you are why hasn’t management given you another title match and not just the World Title hell any of them for that matter and the answer to that is so simple you just fail to realize they see you as just another guy nothing more.
Jesse claps his hands in a slow clap manor then investigates the camera.
Jesse- Excellent work Mike and he’s right Scotty your time is running out on your career and soon enough it will be over, and people will only remember you as the guy that got lucky one time but couldn’t cash in when it mattered the most. I’ll see you Monday Scotty and after I pin you in the ring Ill be moving on to challenge Jake E Dangerously at Explosion, I don’t care about Jays little contract I will insert myself by force if I must, but I’ll make sure to give you a Prestigious send off Scotty. See you soon…
The scene fades to dark as the sound of Violins and soft piano music play out.

The sound of coca-cola being poured into a glass is heard, as I recline further back in my sofa within the living room of my apartment. My focus divided between the Television that is currently showing an episode of NCIS. Specifically from the season 4 DVD and Lucina, who is currently sitting atop a blue beanbag. Dummy in mouth and teddy bear cuddled up against her.
Bianca has gone out to do some shopping, giving me some alone time with Lucina, and Chili is also out. Though she is merely taking a walk. Either way, I finish pouring the cola into my glass, before placing the bottle atop the mahogany table and glancing across at the TV. A gentle smile crossing my face as I reflect on the times I would watch this show at home - and the various times I would attempt to replicate the scenes and banter with my friends at school. Even if it occasionally came across as cheesy and us over-doing it. That was part of the charm to us. Just being able to play out the stories and settings the crew would find themselves in and escape the reality around us.
Though I know you're probably not here for my little storytime, or my regaling of stories from my youth. Those can wait for another time. No, you're here to listen to me engage in discourse about my upcoming match against the misguided soul that is Jesse James. A man who had his own brother slash running mate attempt to convince me that Jesse is the leader he claims to be.
Scott- You don't seem to get it Jesse. You seem to believe that having your brother affirm your status and state you are his leader refutes the point I was making, when all it does is prove it further. I didn't expect you to understand that though, for you are naive. You lack the comprehension skills required to read a message that isn't directly told to you, complete with pictures. That's okay though, we all have our ways of learning. Of attempting to understand the circumstances that we find ourselves within.
I pause, pondering my own thoughts. Allowing his words to resonate within my mind.
Scott- It's what makes us unique, but allow me to - once again - explain my message. Jesse, leaders don't need people to tell them they are leaders. They don't need others to validate them. Leaders set the example via their actions. They are the ones who dictate the passage their "crew" runs by. Not the other way around. I get it, the Prestige is family and as such, you share a bond, but if you are going to claim the title of leader. If you are going to be the head honcho, then it is your acts that should verify that. Not merely the words of those who surround you, or even yourself.
I take a sip of my cola, glancing over at Lucina before returning my focus to this little monologue.
Scott- There's a little mantra I like to follow. One that was told to me all the way back in my days with the DVCW. Those who know how to do a particular act, do. Those who don't, talk about it. Sound familiar?
I laugh.
Scott- It should, because that has been the crux of what I have been telling you. Yet you wonder why it is I talk to you as if you are a child. It's because I was in your shoes once upon a time. I was as naive as you have shown yourself to be. A sheep, who wished to be seen - and protrayed - as a wolf. A persona who had attempted to walk into a world that he foolishly believed he understood, when he truly didn't understand the first thing about it. However, I realised that. I woke up and finally realised that I had been only behaving in that manner as a defense mechanism. As a means to deflect away from the flaws that resided within me. It was then, that I understood that my persona. My whole essence had merely been a shield. A mirage - or rather, a facade - that was slowly peeling away with each passing second. Exposing my true weakness to the world.
A soft look of reflection appears upon my face, as I let out a gentle sigh. Those fragments still linger within me, even if I have evolved. Even if I have grown and become better because of them. Yet I am comfortable with that, for they are a part of what makes me who I am. They are what set the seeds for the path I wander today.
Scott- I tell you this so that you can understand. So that you can realise that these are the sorts of lessons you must be willing to grasp, if you are to move beyond the stage of 'clique leader' and truly spread your wings. Truly comprehend what it means to truly be great, instead of merely expecting people to accept you as great. To truly embrace and accept you for who you are and what you can offer, rather than needing others to validate you.
I gently stroke my jawline/beard, as his words about how people supposedly percieve me echo within my mind. Still as comical as they were when he said it, yet I'll oblige. After all, what else am I gonna do? He's already the topic being discussed.
Scott- You have this belief that I care what people who know not of what they say think? There's a reason why I don't pay much mind to 'talking heads' or what the 'media' or 'fans' chatter about. It's because - and this ties neatly into my spiel about you still being naive - they truly hold no weight within the scope of this realm. They never have. It is those who emotionally are insecure. Those who are yet to comprehend the truth, that give them any credence. Again, I was one of those people once upon a time. The difference is, I evolved. I learned. I realised that their words were mere white noise. Fluff, designed to lead me astray and down the rabbit hole that led straight to the abyss. A passage that you'll find yourself wandering down, should you fail to heed what I am telling you. Should you enter our match holding the earnest belief that your victory is merely a formality.
I flash a smirk.
Scott- I'm well aware of our previous encounter and its stipulation. It is you who might need a refresher, considering you are the one yelling and crying about how you were worn down. How there were others who distracted and diverted your focus --- pretending as if I didn't have the same situation to deal with. This time however, you are entering my domain. The circumstance that I feed off. No weaponry. No means to call on your running buddies to come and save you. Just you and I, wrestling as it was designed to be. See, that is what you seem.to neglect. That is what you have failed to account for. You're not up against somebody who needs people at his beck and call when between those ropes. You're not taking on somebody who needs pizzazz or flashing lights. You're taking on somebody who thrives when it is merely him and his foe. When it is a war of attrition, a test of not just the body, but the mind as well.
I take another sip of my coca-cola, swigging it around my mouth before it runs down my throat.
Scott- And at Mayhem, you will be able to witness that first hand. I offer no apologies for what awaits you, Jesse. Just know that this is what you asked for. And you know what they say about asking for things.
I lower my voice into a whisper.
Scott- Be careful what it is you ask for, because you just might get it. And it might just be too much for you to quell.
My voice returns to its normal inflection and volume.
Scott- When the lights burn their brightest, ones true reality is revealed. Much as yours will be at Mayhem, when you stand before me. Awaiting the execution of your finality. Of the fate that you have set for yourself.
I recline back, making sure to say the next words one at a time. Ensure that they settle within his mind.
Scott- This is where the games. Your little facade. Your aspirations of validation. Of trying to salvage the fragments within you, ends. And it shall be at my hands.
I chuckle, before preparing my final words.
Scott- See you at Mayhem.
I then turn my focus back to NCIS, my statement made. Now, it is time to execute and ensure that Jesse realises that he was always trapped within my game. Within a world he could never fully grasp. That shall come on Monday.
