The Camera flickers on as the scene cuts open to a dark abandon creepy Mansion on a hill in Manchester UK. Outside the mansion nothing grows the ground is dark and cold and no leaf’s to be seen on the trees because the wind is ragging strong almost as if its in rage itself. As the scene cuts open to the inside of the abandon mansion you see the floor is split open with a crack and the windows are busted. As the camera makes it way down the hall the leads to the dinning room it notices claw marks on the wall. As we make it into the dinning room Chris Nitro sits in the darkest side of the corner as he sits in a chair reading a book wearing a dark robe because a hood covers his face but leaving just enough to see his eyes.
Chris Nitro: I’m glad you all could come to visit The Purge today Ryan will be here shortly he already knew you was coming. He knew you want answers for our actions against The Celtic Club and how we disposed of The Young Lions but most of all you’ve come to see why Ryan requested a match with Blade Alexander and its simple Blade has a dream and Ryan wants to kill it that simple.
Nitro closes the book and puts it on a stand and stands up to get closer to the camera.
Nitro: You see Blade has been in IIW for a very long time and his track record is impressive, but one thing has escaped his grasp the IIW World Championship and now he’s been gifted or handed the opportunity, but The Dream Killer is coming to change all that…
The floorboards start to squeak as footsteps are heard walking towards the dinning room and a voice is heard as it gets closer.
Voice: I shall become the winds of change in IIW, and though some may think it is not calm in a gale, I remain so. Strength and force can be calm too because they are done with certainty for good reason. My sense of calm is anchored in my well-earned self-confidence. I have faced the trials and won thus far. I can take on the rest.
This path of life is challenging enough, without making mountains out of molehills, and yeah, we all see the craggy mountain of ice when we are afraid, triggered, maxed out emotionally... So instead of that high drama, breathe... let your energy come down to something softer... then breathe a few more times and watch that big 'ol scar face hill become something more friendly. Perception is everything. The only thing you can ever truly control is yourself, and that's something you can learn. So, love everyone, including yourself... lay yourself down through the panic if you must, imagine you have no hands if it helps, or that you're meditating on the moon... whatever works... but when adults keep their panic and fear to themselves, they protect others. Calm returns. Self-respect grows. Self-control emerges. You gain liberty and maturity with empathy and greater self-reflection. We must be the calm mentors our children look toward for guidance, the keepers of deep wisdom and infinite love... that's what we should develop into... the kind of person every kid is blessed to be loved by.
Ryan Hawkins appears out of the shadows holding Hannabelle tightly to his chest as he walks in and stares into the camera.
Ryan Hawkins: Blade Alexander it's been a long time since Worlds collide … I've seen the changes in you. I hear you breathing, I hear you think, I hear the meaning that is hiding underneath, I feel the essence, I fill the void, I feed the hunger that is growing inside. I feel the pressure, I see the spark, I have seen your dreams and I know yours fears, I am a Killer of dreams and servant to my destiny. Blade, when you find yourself on your knees - know that it will be My Shadow enveloping you. On Mayhem I want the God in you to meet the God in me… Anything less from you will be met with my most notoriously heinous nth degrees of My Wrath. Come die with, die with me…
Nitro: OH MY GOD YOU’RE GONNA KILL BLADE, YOU BASTARD! Leaving me out of all the fun. Oh, Sweet Grappling’ Jesus - this match is going to be another Grape without that G, Son!
Ryan Hawkins: That may well be the plan… but Blade Alexander is a man that knows no defeat... Well in single action that as memory serves me right The Purge defeated him and the commander but sure we had some help, but the job got done and we are The Tag Team Champions, but to Blade’s credit he’s never been pin or submitted he's never known fear or pain. But this week shows the signs of being quite different - except… I want you to decide, Blade. Are you going to come down that ramp and into MY Ring and lay down and avoid the agony and despair I plan to bring, or will you bring the intent to be at top of your game, Pay Per View Show Stealing self-forcing my hand to take you the distance and best you like you've never been beaten before mauling you like a Lion on a gazelle? Because I am going for the cold, calculated kill, Blade I'm going to Create a Masterpiece, A Magnum Opus of Obstinate Massacre.
Nitro: Blade trust me giving up hope and given in to your reality will be what’s best for you fighting against the darkness will only make it that much sweeter when it indulges you.
Ryan Hawkins: Beg your feet not to fail you, Blade… for they are responsible for delivering you right to the location where you realize all too late - like oh so many before you have - that the growing shadow that surprises you is the looming certainty of another Dream shattering to Neck Jarring, Skull Splitting, Brain Crushing, Precisely Perfect Nightmare!
Nitro: I’ve lost count of how many times Ryan has purged a soul and ended a dream. I look forward to it each time, as I know all your fans do too - well, what I mean is; you always show up to see The Purge do unholy thinks to mortal man. You all say we are sick but who are you to call us monsters when you show up every two weeks on Mayhem to see the champs. Now blade get that last little glimpse before the lights go out, because That growing, looming shadow of impending doom - you always manage to avoid with catch up to you in two weeks on Mayhem. Do you like to know that your night is ending with an aching face, a heart heavy with failure and a night full of nightmares Because Oh My God, Do I EVER love that part? “
Ryan Hawkins:This is my chance, Blade… I end your undefeated streak and I end your dreams Hannabelle will deliver me straight to the top. Hannabelle will fast tracks me to the top of IW… All your hard work, all your Hopes, all your Dreams - they all lay just beyond me in victory.
My Calm is the forest right after the dawn light has kissed the colors into being. Just being there brings the soul into sweet surrender, at one with nature, vibrant yet relaxed. Every fragrance is fresh, like the page of a new book. Each burst of Fan song is unique, a live chorus to awaken the mind, to shake off whatever sleepiness remains. Thoughts and feet wander, lungs fill, time rolls by in its silent and endless way… and you spend Every Day of the Rest of your Career knowing that Your Ryan’s Bitch.
You have shown steady progress since Worlds Collide Blade granted you was already a star but now I see you truly blossoming into the man you could be only if you had the sense to detached yourself from Bob like I did at Worlds Collide when I took you all out. I’ve already seen your trust in Bob starting fade with him being oh so busy with the new power you help acquire to him and what did you get in return nothing!... At first because Bob made you beg like a dog for a World Title match because I seek out my desires and take them by force! And I’ll do just that in two weeks In a Main Event in a Standard match, You Blade Alexander, and all of your dreams stand toe to toe against the living nightmare The Dream Killer Ryan Hawkins …
The World can be yours… you just decide - is it a World of Hurt, a World of Success, or a World where you fall from your high status and become just another guy of IIW.
Nitro: I mean Blade might be cool playing second fiddle while he’s all dead inside… “
Ryan Hawkins: There is only one way we are ever really going to know...
Nitro: OH yeah? And how will we know? “
Ryan Hawkins: Come and See...
The camera shuts off as the scene cuts out.

Wednesday afternoon. Hump day. The IIW Arena.
We open on the door of the former office of Osh Vaughn. Now sure, Bob Mitchell could have easily taken over this office after the events of World's Collide, but he didn't, opting instead to stay right where he already now that his office had been repaired.
So what's become of Osh's office? Was it taken over by Jason Fenix? Hardly. Is Osh still there? Nope. So what's going on in there now? Let's ask these two.
Blade: Oh, you would choose now to come see me wouldn't you?
Blade, who has just emerged from the former office of Osh Vaughn, asks rhetorically. In one hand he has his shirt and jacket, he himself is bare chested. With the other hand he smooths back his black hair.
Blade: I know you're just dying to get a retort from me seeing as how I'm facing Ryan Hawkins who's just undergone this life change next Mayhem. Took you long enough to bother.
Behind Blade from Osh's office emerges Melanie Jackson. He dark brown hair done up in an elaborate braid on her head looks like it's struggling to unwind itself, and seeing the camera she wipes smudged lipstick off her face with the back of her hand. Blade spares her a glance before he turns back to the camera.
Blade: So no I have a dream in IIW do I? And that needs to be killed, does it? And Ryan Hawkins is the man to do it? He seems to think so, but of course he does. With his new found attitude and the reformation of Tyler Debonair, Ryan is now the undisputed king of delusions in IIW.
Melanie: What's with that mask?
Blade: I'll get to that, but let's start with the dreams. For most of Ryan Hawkins career, he's been dreaming. His dreams have gotten so bad that he's taken to move into his own fantasy full time. Sure I've been part of IIW mostly since 2017, but does that mean I dream of being World Champion, no that's inevitability. It's IIW's inability to find someone to put in the ring with me that makes me the next IIW World Champion.
As for my title shot, it looks like a gift to you Ryan, but mostly because you can't see straight out of that thing you put over your face now. Unlike you, I EARNED my World Title shot. I earned it by being unbeatable. I earned it by saying I'd do something then following up on it. I earned it by proving anytime I've been kept from a win in IIW it wasn't by a single man, or two men for that matter, it's taken an entire team, but when that team had the misfortune of being locked in a giant cage with me, they still failed.
Melanie: Failure, sounds like the theme of Ryan Hawkins own dreams.
Blade smirks.
Blade: Doesn't it just? You fancy yourself a dream killer Ryan Hawkins, tell me something, do you practice on yourself? Is that why we all see the failures your dreams have amounted to? Look at that whole Hardcore Title thing. You tried to be some great hardcore legend and show people just how dangerous you were, and how did that turn out? Rogue wiped the floor with you AND your tag team partner at the same time and then threw your whole little hardcore revolution in the trash. But that didn't stop you did it? From that you pulled actual garbage out of a garbage can and you and your little Uncle Fester looking pal got right back on that horse. Tell me guys, how did that end up? You hardcore champion yet? How about Nitro?
Melanie: How about big fat nope.
Blade: No, of course not. You lost that title to Anthony Phoenix who's gone on to be the longest reigning Hardcore Champion is history, and you know why? Actual talent. He has it, you're lacking. So ends your first dream, the hardcore legacy ended in embarrassment and shame.
But the worst hits of Ryan Hawkins don't end there. Let's talk about the next little legacy you're so proud of, the Tag Team titles. Let's talk about how you've embarrassed those.
Melanie: Didn't he technically beat you for those?
Blade: Technicalities don't tell the whole story, a story that everyone knows. Just like everyone knows he didn't actually beat anyone for those. He didn't do much at all. Sure he and his partner teamed up to hit a pair of homeless guys with a bunch of other things they pulled out of the trash when they went digging for the Hardcore title, but those were old, malnourished men. And what did that win do for you and Nitro? Since you're such a dreamer Hawkins, it gave you the overinflated ego of feeling like the greatest tag team ever, but we all know how unearned that feeling is.
We all know because Zach Steele, Russell Wayne, and Jay Vaughn won those titles. Where were you during the pinfall? Laying outside the ring dreaming that you had actually earned those titles. It took five men, a fast count, and a crooked boss to get you the Tag Team Titles and to this day you and Chris Nitro walk around like you're the greatest tag team in IIW history. How many times have you defended those titles since? How many tag matches have you two had since then? That's right, none. Call me crazy but if I made big claims about being the best Tag Team Champions in the history of IIW then I'd be getting in the ring to defend those titles, just like Commander and I did before they were stolen from us.
Melanie: Aren't there like a lot of teams in IIW now looking to get a shot at the titles.
Blade: More than ever, and in Ryan Hawkins head they're all here to challenge Purge because their such a great team, but that's just Ryan Hawkins, dreamer once more. The reality is every team across the globe is crawling out of the woodwork for a shot because they know. Now's the time to make an impact in wrestling and get some real clout since the IIW Tag Team titles are ripe for the picking. The Establishment is done, The Commander has hung up his boots and now the only thing standing in the way is the Purge, a team that STILL hasn't managed to have a single actual tag team match. You have belts you didn't earn, Ryan and instead of showing people how dangerous you are all the two of you can do is talk about it and challenge other people so no one can see just how weak your team really is.
Melanie: Maybe it's just me, but I don't think hiding is a really great way show how great you are.
Blade: No it's not, but it is what Ryan Hawkins is best at. Hiding. A coward at heart, a coward in practice. Why else wear the mask Ryan? Everyone knows what you look like.
Melanie: I knew there had to be something to that mask.
Blade: Sometimes masks are intimidating, sometimes they strike fear. Sometimes. But only when those masks hide the unknown, Ryan Hawkins. People fear what they don't know, and when masks hide true identity, when they hide some unavoidable terror, then masks are intimidating. Your mask hides someone who's a little bit too into horror movies and is only afraid of his own shortcomings. You fear people will see you for what you really are, Ryan, so you put on that mask to hide. You want to be some evil in the night terror come to destroy dreams, but it's all smoke and mirrors to try to disguise that every time YOU have a dream, that's the one that dies. The only dreams you've ever killed in IIW were the ones you had in yourself, so in embarrassment, out of fear that you’ll be exposed for the fraud you've pretended to be for months you run away so some cheesy horror movie, lock yourself inside, and hide under a mask. It's too late for you, Ryan. I've looked into your eyes and I've seen in fear in your heart. You exposed yourself to me, and that's your biggest mistake.
You talking about leaving your own teammates laying at Worlds Collide, another act of cowardice straight from the front page of the Ryan Hawkins playbook, but what good did that do you? You came to some realization that the only person you need in IIW is Chris Nitro, but more like he's the only one who's expectations are so low you can't possibly fail him.
Bob trusted you to be a part of the team. He trusted that you saw that something had to be done in IIW and you lied to him. You saw only yourself. You saw how Osh put the Tag Team Titles on you and you thought yourself protected and you knew with Bob in charge you might actually have to defend them, so you turned on us and you walked out. How did that work out? You ran and hid your fear behind a mask, but it's too late, because you were in the ring with a man who would stop at nothing to get what he wants. You stabbed us in the back and walked out and it didn't stop me from grabbing that same chair, destroying our former bosses face and threatening to put a chair threw his eye to get what I want.
But now you're going to come at me as the dream killer. You who did everything you could to stop me and haven't even slowed me down. You who saw up close what I'm willing to do to anyone who gets in my way. You who ran and put on a mask and hid at the first sign of trouble, and you really think I'm going to be intimidated by your theatrics. The best intimidation tactic you have dreamt up yet is a poor attempt at smoke and mirrors that everyone can see right through.
Melanie: Well earned self confidence? What did he do to earn it? Run out in the middle of the biggest match of his career? Gloat about a title someone else won for him? Where's the part he earned anything?
Blade: That part never comes. Ryan Hawkins puts on a show and expects us to believe everything he says because he's recently got the best of Longfellow. He puts on all this show to distract from his lack of substance. He said himself perception is everything, and like a magician trying to get us believe in his illusions, he needs for that to be true, but it's too late. We've already seen the Penn and Teller special, we've all gotten a glimpse of the man behind the curtain and unfortunately for you, Ryan Hawkins, once that veil has been lifted there's no putting it back on. We've seen all your tricks, we know how you did them. There's no secrets being held by your mask, and no mysticism inside your little dolly. You've been exposed Ryan Hawkins, exposed to the one man you NEVER want to expose yourself to.
Melanie: Him.
She looks adoringly at Blade Alexander and smiles.
Blade: You want to be a role model for the little kids today? Then it's high time you grow the fuck up leave the kid's table and try some grown up moves. That's why you've challenged me isn't it? You see I've got something you desperately want, you said it yourself. You want to believe wholeheartedly in this dream killer thing so you challenge me to a match because time and time again I've proven I'm someone who can do something you can't, earn everything I get. You look at me at Worlds Collide and you see the face of IIW change and in your head because you showed up you plant this idea that you had anything to do with that. All you did was throw a Ryan Hawkins tantrum special and walk out while your partners, as usual, did the heavy lifting.
Chris Nitro isn't going to be in this match, Ryan, so if you want to have a chance I suggest you take your balls out of his purse and give them a tug. It's high time you man up and really become someone in IIW, but look at you, that's just not you is it. You'd rather spend time in some silly house playing Scooby Doo with a dolly who talks to you about destiny. You know what your destiny is Ryan? It's become that guy who descended from someone with potential into the utter joke you're morphing into now. You're not some dangerous threat, you're a stupid punchline.
Come try to kill my dreams Ryan. I'm glad you ask for this match so I can show you how it's really done, man to prepubescent little girl. You want to look at destiny, I'll be glad to show you on Mayhem. Since the day I stepped into IIW the World Championship has been my destiny, not because I dreamed so hard about it, it's because there's no one able to stop me. I'm a force of nature Ryan, and that force is inevitability. Just as sure as the sun rises and sets on whatever metaphor you throw into your little promo to try and get it to sound like you're smarter than you really are, I'm going to be the next IIW World Champion. That's not a vague looming threat anymore. That date has been set. The first stop to getting there? I kill the Dream Killer.
But don't let me wake you, Ryan. Hush sweet girl-child, don't wake from your own already dead dreams. You've already got your little bedtime mask on there, you've got your little dolly, and I see you and Nitro are in your little nighties all ready for your slumber party. Lay down your weary head sweet dreamer, dream those dreams you live in where other dreams die and others flourish. Come to Mayhem and teach me all about it. Show me how you do it. Make me sing my soul's song for you: the lullaby of obliteration.
Please, Ryan Hawkins... wait...
He kneels down on the floor, hands together like he's praying.
Blade: Please share your darkness with me Ryan, show me your nightmare. I'd love to see whatever little lollipop gilded, Tim Burton directed Willy Wonka bonkers dumb fiction you run to after I beat you on Mayhem. PLEASE Ryan, don't deprive us of letting us see you worship Raggedy Anne, your dark ginger mistress of delusion. Show me what happens to your fragile psyche and the careful deliberate delusion you've crafted to insulate when I squeeze your head so hard the eyes bulge from their sockets and the pressure from your skull compressing your brain compresses the few precious brain cells you have left working for you.
But most of all Ryan, please, don't do that thing you always do. Don't cower in fear at the first sign of adversity. Show us what you've got. Show me all the pain and agony and darkness you can muster and take a good look at the true measure of success here in IIW. Allow me that and I'll allow you true darkness. I'll show you the privilege of real darkness. I'll show you the light slowly fading from your sight. I'll show you the blackness seeping in from the edges as the light drains away. I'll let you feel your motor functions slow down as you slip deeper from consciousness and back into that fairytale land you need to live in to function. I'll gently lower you to the mat while you ease into the cold comfort of the fantasy you've built and I'll spare you the embarrassment of reality crashing in and showing you every lie you live in. I'll spare you the embarrassment of seeing your own dreams get killed once again. I'll spare you the embarrassment of eating all of the hollow words you've spoken to me and everyone else, I'll spare you everything if you could ever manage to do what you said, but for you I see that's an impossible task. You're never going to live up to your own hype, you're never going to earn your own fame, so I'll spare you. I'll squeeze you into unconsciousness and you can rest easy, once again blocking out reality and fading back into your fantasy of every being anything more that a guy who was just here for a while.
He takes Melanie by the hand and pushes past the cameraman and down the hall while we're left to fade away.

We open to inside the office of Bob Mitchell, He is not around but The Dream Killer Ryan Hawkins sits in the chair of Bob Mitchell as he looks out towards the windows.
Ryan Hawkins: You see this window it's so large it reminds me of a storefront, but so high up who can see in it anyway? It's triple-glazed and so clear that the panorama is like a high-definition screen at the movie theatre. The birds travel past, buffeted by the winds that whistle through these towers, as if to remind us that we're in their space now. This real-estate in the sky feels so futuristic, I wouldn't be surprised if Bob Mitchell just beamed himself in here right from the office. The city below is so far away it's like another world, those ant-like people and all their problems are of no more consequence than temporary static on intercom. All this concrete is my cocoon and the window, well, the window shows me as much detail as I want to know. Just like you Blade you show much in your rage that you forget not hide your weakness your losing control Blade I can see it I can feel it and when we locked inside the cage together, I could taste it. It's funny that you bring up Worlds Collide Blade because if memory serves me correct, we were on the verge of being defeated Bam had committed suicide by taking him and Jonny out, you were somewhere useless, and Curtis was getting his ass beat. Why I took a FUCKING LAST RESORT on to a steel chair, and in that moment the voices became so clear that you guys were dreamers thinking Bob could change this company it's sick alright, but Bob is not the Cure. I am the cure Blade and just like a cure I help delivered you to safety I took out Russell, Zack, Curtis, and yes even you but what you fail to realize in my madness I gave you the opportunity to be the hero. Had I not did what I did you would never even had the opportunity to threated Osh with that chair and win the match and receive the World title opportunity so your welcome Blade you truly are because on that night I set things in motion you can even see, but see everyone will come and see...
Ryan pauses for a moment to catch his thought then continues.
Ryan Hawkins: Speaking of Opportunities more importantly the opportunity like this do not come along every day. My challenge to Blade was my first step in claiming an opportunity at The World Championship, but Blade it seems you failed to listen to me before… so let me reiterate. While you are playing games, building brands, and running hustles with Jackson. I am meticulously well planned and aware of steps you do not even know you are going to take. But I do… oh… do I ever. I know Exactly who the Alpha and Omega both are…. Me!
He rises from his seat and strolls to the window - so close his breath begins to fog the glass… He presses the gold plate of The Tag Team title belt against it and the diamonds embedded in its face scream and gouge the glass as he drags it up over his head.
Ryan Hawkins: Isn't it amazing Blade here I stand looking out over the wonders man can create… The spark and series of events that bring us to moments like this! A moment in time everyone will remember when darkness and nightmares concerned the mighty dreamer Blade Alexander they will remember when the undefeated streak of fifteen years came to a bitter end because I just won't beat your o just won't break you physically, but I will slip into your cerebral and corrupt you from the inside out as matter of fact its already happening I see it in your soul I see it! Just like the many should I claimed in the Hardcore division before Hannabelle guided me to my true calling I was the longest reining Hardcore Champion I am the one that inspired many to follow after my foot steps they say how I climbed the ladder up after causing so much on and chaos they all try to duplicate my success from Bam to Phoenix they all took the route that would get notice hoping to have the same reign as I did, but there's just no difference...
Ryan stops look out the window and into the camera more closely.
Ryan Hawkins: My Hardcore title reign left Scars - My Reign Caused Fear…. MY REIGN I'm on is the JUST BEGINNING! IM HUNTING, I’M HUNGRY, YOU CAN'T HOPE TO STOP ME - I AM THE DREAM KILLER THAT CANNOT BE TAMED! And I have borrowed into the bloodstream of IIW just like a Parasite. And just like a parasite I'm going to PURGE the week. Just like I purged the Hardcore division and just how me and Nitro Purged the Tag Team Division and will continue to do so. We don't care who comes for is I don't care how big they dream Blade me and Nitro will beat them just like we do you and Commander and make all the excuses you want Blade. Tell yourself whatever you need to say so you can go to bed and dream for me but just know this. The superior man blames himself. The inferior man blames others… People that have trust issues only need to look in the mirror. There they will meet the one person that will betray them the most… In your case, the smart man blames Blade. You know why you haven't reached the pinnacle of success yet Blade it’s because you hinged your wagon to Bob and all it got you was a bunch of wins with no real substance! but my time is now and I promise this match will be my Mona Lisa Massacre!
Ryan turns away from the scarred window and looks down at the glass dust covered championship belt, he traces his fingers through the dust and wipes it across his tongue unflinching.
Ryan Hawkins: Blade you are a bump in the road to My World Title Shot and unlike your opportunity when I end your dreams and awaken you into my nightmare everyone will know I stepped over to earn my World Title shot! I can taste Blood… I can taste Greatness… I can taste… Control. Come and See...
The camera fades out as the scene goes dark.

One of the most popular attractions in IIW in 2021, Bob Mitchell's office. Quite frankly, I don't get the allure. It's not very big, it's camped, it's always kind of a mess, and the window isn't as big as some make it seem. But here we are with Blade Alexander and Melanie Jackson looking out that window.
Melanie: You know, this view isn't really all that impressive.
Blade: It's just the parking lot. You can see where Commander used to sleep though.
He, dressed in a black suit stands with his arms clasped behind his back, while she, in a metallic red dress of modest length and less than modest fit, stands her left hand on his shoulder and her head resting against his arm.
Melanie: It's not really hard to see anything from up here. The window is a little dirty, but otherwise it's fine.
Blade: What did you expect, it's the second floor of an arena, not some office in a big high rise in London.
Melanie: Maybe just something more grand I guess, Ryan Hawkins painted some picture of being up high and people running around like ants or something.
Blade: Hyperbole from someone suffering the long term effects of brain damage. You know Chris Nowinski called Bob to get in touch with him about doing a bunch of tests on the effects of multiple concussions.
Melanie: How many has he had?
Blade: No one knows, he won't see the doctor. I don't know how he keeps getting cleared to wrestle, but Netflix keeps allowing it. Bob made them sign a waiver and everything. Anything that happens to Ryan Hawkins, including permanent physical and mental impairment up to and including death isn't the responsibility of Bob Mitchell or IIW but of Netflix. We were concerned for his mental health going into War Games, but now we know he's really off his rocker.
Melanie: Is that why he's wearing that silly mask and ranting about alphas and omegas?
Blade: Yeah, probably. He's completely lost whatever tenuous grip he had on reality and now he's raving like a bad 80's villain.
Melanie: I thought he was talking about Star Wars or something.
Blade laughs.
Blade: It wouldn't be that surprising, he seems to be struggling to know what real and what he's imagined lately. Like thinking anyone remembers anything about him being Hardcore Champion for instance.
Melanie: All I remember is Rogue threw that belt in the trash, and Phoenix held it for a long time and wore some face paint.
Blade: Someone should really look into the mental health of the people who compete for that title as a whole. Hawkins thinks he kicked off some big trend but really, we only assume he's been Hardcore Champion simply because it's defended 24/7 and changes hands so often he must have won it right?
Melanie: Not to mention the Tag Team Titles.
Blade: Which we have.
Melanie: But other than us who really is? You hear all this talk about Celtic Club and the Syndicate now, and even what were they called, Prestige before they disappeared again, but no one brings up the champions... What's their name again?
Blade: Purge, their the Purge. Like the movie, like Hawkins drops into every promo to try to put over how good he is, not like anyone would know because they've never had a proper tag team match and have been champs for like two months now without ever having another tag team match. They set the tag division on fire to such a degree that it's become an embarrassment.
Melanie: Are they ever going to defend those titles?
Blade: Highly unlikely. With Hawkins delusions of grandeur and Nitro just losing hardcore matches left right and centre they're more likely to sit back on their laurels and say they're so great without ever actually proving it.
Melanie: Well... We saw how they won. And we saw how they seem to pretty much be OK with having someone else having won those titles for them. So what exactly has Hawkins done to think he's going to get some World Title match?
Blade: Jack and Shit. And Jack left town. He's been a mediocre hardcore wrestler and a bad regular wrestler, but now he thinks by beating me he'll be first in line for a title shot. Shocker Ryan Hawkins, but it doesn't work that way.
He finally turns around to face the camera.
Blade: Let me clue you in you delusional little idiot, I earned my shot. I earned it by facing the best that was put in front of me. I earned it by not being pinned or submitted in the four years since I first stepped into the IIW ring. I earned it by winning and successfully defending the Tag Team Championships, then only ever losing them in a bullshit way that someone like you, Ryan Hawkins, fails to mention whenever you bring up your glorious accomplishments, because it shows the only thing you've ever managed to accomplish in your career here is to embarrass yourself ad nauseum.
You praise yourself a dream killer, but the only dreams you ever killed were your own. You want to steal glory from Worlds Collide? Fine, because I have no problem with watching you kill yet another one of your dreams at Mayhem when I leave you beaten and broken, which is let's face it, your default state.
Melanie: You and your team were doing just fine really when Bam Miller took himself and Jonny C out.
Blade: We were, and then what happened? Did Ryan Hawkins change IIW? Only in his own dreams. In reality everyone watched you pitch a hissy fit befitting the BABY BOI you are when you got jealous that Bam one upped you in the hardcore department, so you turned on your own team. No where in there did you cut open that cage to let yourself out and let Osh Vaughn in. That was The Prestige. No where did you force Osh Vaughn inside, that was his mistake and his alone. No where did you force a chair into my hand and threaten Osh Vaughn with it, that was all me. And no where did you break his nose, that was all ME.
He points to his own nose, which shows evidence of being broken more than once.
Blade: An eye for an eye, Ryan. A nose for a nose. While you TALK about all the things you're going to do to IIW, I've been actually doing them. If you still doubt me then just take the two block walk down the street to the nearest pub and when you find the rum soaked remains of the man that once was Osh Vaughn you take a good look at the very real scars I've left on the face of IIW history and then you come back and you talk.
Talk about dreams, Ryan Hawkins. Talk about the dreams you kill, talk about the dreams you have. You said I opened up my fears to you? You opened yours to everyone. You claim to be the dream killer, Ryan, but then you wax poetic on your own dreams. Your dreams of making a difference, your dreams of being someone here in IIW, your dreams of having a World Championship match. Those are your dreams, and much like you like to fancy that you kill ours, you're scared to death that we'll kill your dreams. You fear it so deeply you shrink from the world and you hide behind some mask like it will arm you against the outside world.
Take a good look, Ryan Hawkins, and see the real differences between us. We're all scared of not living up to our potential. We're all scared we'll fall short and never realize our dreams, but some of us have the courage to wear that on our sleeves and face it head on every single time we get in the ring. If you think you're any different then you're lying to yourself.
But then that's what you're best at isn't it? You lie to yourself about being a dream killer. You lie to yourself about your role in IIW history, and you lie to yourself about what you did at Worlds Collide. You weren't the hero, Ryan, you were the coward, like always. Things got rough, things got bleak, and you ran away. You turned your back and you ran away to save yourself and it blew up in your face. You turned on your team and walked out because you thought if you were the reason we lost then it might save your pathetic job. But it didn’t and in spite of what you did, not because of it, we won.
We won because unlike you I'm more than willing to do whatever it takes to get what I want. From fighting off nine guys and trying to climb a ladder to breaking my former bosses nose. That's the real reason you challenged me Ryan. It's not because I'm some dreamer you can easily step over and prove how great you are, it's because I'm the REALITY you can't face. I'm the looking glass you need to shatter to live in the Wonderland you've built in your own mind. As long as Blade Alexander is around you have to keep looking into the cold, harsh face of reality and being reminded that you're not some monster come to change everything. You're a coward cringing behind a cheap mask. I'm the reality you can't stand to face. I'm everything you have claimed to be, and worst of all, you know you know every word I say is the truth.
You exposed yourself. You're wide open. You dream about the IIW World Championship, and you know in your heart in a few weeks I'll have the match you dream of and the night will end in your nightmare, me holding that championship. You dream of being a guy who changes the face of IIW, but despite your best efforts when you got to the back at Worlds Collide you had to stand there in full view of everyone on the roster, crowded around a monitor with everyone else living your nightmare in front of them all seeing your dream of being the one to dictate the future of IIW crumble in your hands when you saw me slam a chair into the face of Osh Vaughn and hear Jay Vaughn surrender. That's why you've come after me Ryan Hawkins. I'm everything you want to be. Every dream you've had has found its way to my hands. Every glory, every chance at greatness every hope have turned to ashes and that's left you broken and bitter.
You come after me Ryan Hawkins because I did what you claim to do in every promo you've ever cut. I killed your dreams in front of everyone while you stood there with their eyes on me and not you. You were exposed and ashamed that you had to watch your dreams killed by my hands, and the part that hurt you the most, it wasn't even that we were supposed to be friends, because you already tried to burn that bridge. You made your choice, but what really killed you inside... was that I wasn't even TRYING.
I didn't try to kill your dreams Ryan, that was incidental. You just got in the way. Just like now. You're not some big bad monster that makes IIW cower in it's bed a night. We don't shrink in fear of the bogey man you've created in your head. We snicker and laugh at your so-called “purge”. We point and make jokes when you walk around the corner because you're not some supernatural terror come from the darkness. You're a scared kid who's mad that other people are getting the things you want and doing what you want to do. You're not a nightmare, you're a temper tantrum and at Mayhem you're not going to destroy any dreams like you talk on and on about, unless you mean your own, yet again. At Mayhem I'm going to show you the difference between putting on a mask and wearing a costume and pretending to be a monster that feeds on dreams and the very real reality of going out there and forcing others to give you what you want. I'm going to show you exactly why I haven't been pinned of submitted in IIW and I'm going to show you exactly how you handle someone like you, a delusional child who throws a fit when someone else gets something they want. You give them a spanking.
Melanie: Reality is FAR less dramatic than fantasy. I like the sound of you giving a spanking though.
Blade glances at her and grins.
Blade: Not the kind of spanking you get.
She pouts.
Blade: A spanking with a fist. Then we'll see how he feels about that mask and all this dream nonsense when he's got to yet again face the fact that he's lost with no one to blame but himself, not just for losing, but for picking a fight he was never qualified to pick in the first place. You asked for this,Ryan. You think you're a dream killer, but this isn't a dream, this is reality.
Fade.
