Anya gracefully lifts her opponent for a northern lights suplex. She lands it with a tip-toed bridge, holding it for the pin count.

Anya places her opponent in a guillotine hold, arms around their neck and legs wrapped around their back like a spider that just caught an innocent fly in its web. Sometimes, she performs this while the opponent is in a standing position, forcing them to carry her (much like a Black Widow, or an Octopus Stretch) until they're unconscious and fall flat. This is a submission maneuver.

Anya Sharapova was born in Moscow, Russia to a single mother. Growing up, she learned a lot about protecting herself from her mother, especially from men that would attempt to take advantage of her much like her absent and resented father. This kind of upbringing made her more than capable of taking care of herself at a young age, but also always left her on edge and unwilling to trust new people coming into her life. At the fresh age of 21, Anya moved away from Russia to start a new life in the United States. This was to the dismay of her mother, who saw it as the ultimate betrayal at the time. She felt alone again, just like she felt when her former partner fled their relationship. In more recent days, she is more supportive and keeps in contact with Anya. While in the United States, she discovered the enticing art of women's wrestling, and related to how powerful, strong, confident, and independent all of these women appeared to be. Feeling like she would fit right in, she took up wrestling training. Training turned to working the indy circuit, and the rest was history from there on out.

The lights dim down to a deep red, as the ferocious entrance music booms on the speakers. Met with boos from disdained fans, Anya Sharapova steps onto the stage. She slowly does a spin with her arms outstretched, letting the negative reaction rain in as if she was feeding onto it. Anya then makes her way down the ramp, red and gold leather jack flowing as she struts confidently down to the ring. Up onto the apron, she orders the referee to sit down on the middle rope to make getting inside easier. While inside the ring she does another spin like the one she did on the stage, letting out a cackle to mock the fans that just love to hate her.
